It was a quick fix a piece of packing material (a screw )had been left in when installed and had dropped down blocking the fan ,
Lucky for us it was a bit of metal if it had been cardboard or polystyrene it would have caused a fire .

GS and girlfriend just left , she passed her test the other day so she’s trying to get a lot of driving in
She is sharing a car with her brother till she can get her own .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, that's scary that if the screw had been something plastic it would have caused a fire. GS's girl friend must be very happy to have passed - do give her my congratulations. I'm sure she's very sensible and will drive carefully.

Oma my BIL has had many different breeds of dogs over the last 45 +years big ones , huge ones and tiny ones and the one that used to frighten myself and my one DS was the, tiny, yapping fidgety Yorkshire terrier. He would happily nip ankles , wee over feet , he was uncontrollable. I can honestly say it's the only dog I have ever taken a dislike to.
BL used to be a member of a dog training display group so want he doesn't know about dogs isn't worth knowing but this Yorkie was uncontrollable.
He had two German shepherd dogs who would 'escort ' me into the sitting room and on to the sofa whereupon the one would lie on my feet and sleep ! My favourite dog that he had was a 'Dulux Dog' , an old English Seepdog , he was a gentle giant. Big dogs don't always equal fierce but it's easy to understand why that man was a little uneasy in the company of Storm , he is a big lad isn't he.

Yesterday we went to the garden centre to buy two items we came home with 8 !
We purposely went there to buy a climbing plant that would grow in shade and would have lovely red leaves in the autumn, we were successful in that task the other item on the list was tumbling tomatoes for the hanging basket, there was tomatoes plants of every description but sadly no tumbling ones so plan B came into operation, I brought some strawberry plants that grow quite happily in a hanging basket.
I also wanted a small pot to sit in front of the wishing well that is on the stone circle in the middle of the lawn. I actually brought a pack of 3 outdoor wicker baskets, all different sizes , with liners reduced from £29.99 to £9.99 , a real bargain
We also had lunch there. I had an egg mayonnaise and chive baguette with side salad and it was extremely tasty.

Today I am planning to pot out the plants into the garden, crack on with some washing and OH wants to finish painting the fence so fingers crossed we don't get any rain
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Good morning. I think there is rain in the forecast.

All being well,we will be eating at the pub.

Oma, glad the oven was a quick fix.
Congratulations to GS's girlfriend passing her test.

Daisy, glad the funeral went well.

Oma, I wonder what the loose screw was doing in the packing.

Daisy, not long now before you are hitching up that caravan, hope you get some good weather.

Oma,congratulations to GS’s girlfriend. When do you next see a medic?

I had my third and last Coronation tea yesterday, the food was amazing. 2 members of my WI organised it. Board games this afternoon. Sun shining atm, not sure what the forecast is.

                Nanto, enjoy your meal out.

                  Good Thursday morning, everyone.

Nanto and Mimi, what lovely graphics to start the day. thank you.

Nanto, let's hope you get your pub lunch today, and the rain holds off.

Mimi, I had to smile at your BIL's Yorkie's antics. He does sound rather anti-social, and I found training very tiny dogs when I had Yorkies wasn't like training big dogs. But we treated them like big dogs and didn't pick them up. They responded very well to hand signals and had the best recall of any dog I've ever had. But Eva, who is about the size of a Labrador, is still a work-in-progress after 7 years. I have to say she has never shown any aggression but trying to get her to move if she doesn't want to is hopeless! It's odd isn't it.

Oma, you can't help worrying about young drivers can you, but it sounds as though your GS's girl friend is as lovely as he is. I try not to think about my GSs driving - the roads where they live are fast and very busy. I noticed yesterday when we were driving across the Forest there was a constant stream of traffic coming towards us - nearly all of them youngsters on their way to the college in our village. There's a 40 mph speed limit and most of them were observing it, thank goodness.

OH has someone coming round to look at his compressor which is faulty this morning, and then we're going garden centre shopping. I hope the rain holds off.

                      Good morning everyone.

                      Enjoy the pub lunch Nan2.

Fingers crossed no rain Mimi and Daisy. I know we have some forecast here.

Daisy,as Lizzie says Aquafit is aerobic exercise in water so you jump on your feet a lot. The deep water class with a belt is different..I don't do that .

Well done to GS's girlfriend Oma!

                      THREE coronation teas Plant!!!

Baby GS3 today. No golf for OH so it will be good to have her here. We will try him in the door bouncer for the first time.

Good morning everyone, nice here but slight showers now and again.

I have just been to a local supermarket for 3 plants, bushes, a friend gave me a card full of stamps for them, we could go for them today, it was busy! I will keep the lavender and the others I will give to DS2 for in their garden, they have plenty of garden to put them in.

I have been invited to a reception this afternoon, the lady that arranges all the people that do the administration where I do the coffee on a Monday phoned and said as I was now part of the team I will be very welcome at the opening reception.

I have to take my car either this evening or early tomorrow morning for the MOT, it is another garage, recommended by my neighbour, DIL took her car not long ago and was satisfied.

There was a massive fire last night not far from here, 360 caravans and campers gone up in flames! That will be a worrying time for the owners just before the holidays.

Mimi, many years ago I was bitten in the leg, by a poodle!!! I have never forgotten it!

Oma, well done to GS girlfriend in passing her test.

Gem, enjoy your day with Gs3. Friends GS is 7 months now, the mother was here at the flat the other day to show her mother that he was sat in the bike seat enjoying the ride.

Nanto, I am following your plans and I have a beef stew in the slow cooker.

Lizzie, how awful about the fire. Will they be able to claim through insurance.

Gem, hope he enjoys the door bouncer.

The sky is as black as night. Thunderstorms on the way.

I was asking about that at fitness Nanto, the owner of the storage has to be insured, which he will be as it is a huge business.
