Nanto, I have to confess, I haven't thought about Easter eggs yet. I probably ought to, though!

Ouch, Gem, poor you. That sounds very unpleasant. Hopefully S will find the perfect jeans next time you try. xx

      Afternoon all.
I have just come back from the podiatrist, luckily I managed to avoid the rain but not the wind . Before I left home this afternoon myself and OH were hastily putting blown over planters in a sheltered position as they had been scattered all over the garden.

Daisy our garden fence is grey, not the traditional brown . When OH first painted the fence grey a neighbour offered to give us his left over brown fence paint so that it could be painted "in a proper colour " !

Lizzie your poor neighbour, its so sad

There has been a house gas explosion in Swansea. One person has tragically died and a few people are missing. The photos are horrific, it's surprising that not more people were killed.

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Thanks Daisy! If no better tomorrow I wouldn't be able to do my library work so fingers crossed.

          Mimi, that is terrible
Several year ago a house in my village was totally destroyed by a gas explosion. The man inside was killed instantly and neighbouring houses on either side had to be demolished even though it was a detached house.

Oh Gem poor you , it’s not good when the pain hits ,
Maybe not going to the library tomorrow and resting may be a better option .

              Nanto
I can’t say I’ve seen any Black magic ones yet either , I think Asda sold them last year or Sainsburys ,
When you see them grab them 😁

GS1 just gone home , he was defeated he couldn’t eat all his tea so went home with his Chocolate eclairs in a box to eat later ,
He was so full he had to open his pants 🤣

Its bouncing down here it’s lashing off the windows ,
The Amazon man dashed up the drive and dashed back to the van like a whippet 😁

                  Good morning ladies.

Wind has gone and the sun is shining.

Hubby out this morning for an hour or two.
                  Otherwise,no plans.

I think dinner will be something involving fish.

Good morning Nan2. Good morning everyone.
                    Sunny here too.

Fish is always popular in our house Nan2. We had salmon last night.
OH is on cooking rota tonight so I don't know what we are having. We are overrun with eggs (next door left us a big box when they went away and we had just have a Tesco delivery!) I suspect we will have omelette.

My sciatica is n0 better so I will phone when the library opens at 1o and tell them I can't go today. I have texted my friend M, as we were to have lunch at the cafe afterwards and catch up. I hope she can make next Tuesday instead. Just GS1 to collect from school this afternoon. I wait in the car for him now so no walking involved.

                      Morning ladies

                      Gem
Best thing not going into library , did you get any sleep ?
I know what it’s like trying to lie down and get in a comfortable spot .

                      Nanto
Im a lover of Cod and Salmon , with my allergies to fish and shell fish that’s about the limit I can have but it always makes a lovely meal doesnt it .

We are going to the Metrocentre this morning , I hate going the hard marble floors kill my hips and back but B wants to go to a shop in there ,
We won’t spend a lot of time there just go to the shops we need too and out again

                      Plant
Did you have a nice day with GD & H yesterday ,

The sun is out and it’s very calm but boy is it cold ,
B went to put the recycle bin out and when he opened the back door the cold just hit Brrr

Good morning everyone. The sun's shining and thankfully the wind has dropped.

Gem, I'm sorry to hear you're still in pain, but hopefully a restful morning will help. Are you ok to drive to pick up GS from school?

Mimi, I had to laugh at your neighbour offering OH the 'proper' paint for your garden fence. I bet the grey looks lovely, and much nicer than the brown! Are you walking on air after your trip to the podiatrist?

The explosion in Swansea is awful. I presume it was a gas leak.

Nanto - a nice cheery start to the day! We're like Gem - fish is always a good choice. Salmon for us today, probably.

Oma, Storm isn't the only one who gets spoiled at your house! I'm sure GS enjoyed the eclairs later though!

No plans for me today. If it dries up a bit I'll get out in the garden. The jobs are piling up!

Oh Gemini, I am sorry to hear you are still in pain, I have only had sciatica once and it was very painful. I quite like an omelette, do you flavour yours.

I love a fish dinner, sea bass for me tonight. Omelette is also a good standby.

I had a lovely but very tiring day yesterday with GD and H, we managed to get back in time for GD2 to have a play with H before GD had to go back to London. The dog is on the mend with a diet of rice mixed with chicken and when we went back to their flat I stayed with H whilst GD took the dog for yet another walk. We always use my car when we go out together to save GD’s petrol so I had to drive back in the dark and rain, not nice, no street lights and single track road with passing places. Guiders Trefoil meeting this afternoon.

Mimi, I think green is a nice colour for a fence, was your neighbour joking?

Nanto very cheerful pic to start the day. We have just had a flurry of snow, stopped now thank goodness.

Plant we have a field mushroom plus some pancetta in the fridge, so we will probably have those and some grated cheese in our omelette. We often just have a mushroom one as we both love mushrooms.
                            I like sea bass too.

                              Love mushrooms, so did OH.

The mother of the 10 year old girl who was attacked has put a note through the door asking for help and giving a description of the man who attacked her DD. I must say the young girl was very brave to fight him off. He attacked her just after she had left her school friends, he was all dressed in black with a black face mask. He was hiding in the bushes, grabbed her and put hand over her mouth. It sounds as if he had been aware that this was the route she walked after leaving her friends. I must say that if she were mine I would have been in the lane watching for her.

Poor little girl Plant and yes, I would have done the same as you would.

I don't have to collet GS1 from school today, DD can, and a new video game comes out today so he will be happy playing on that until she finishes work anyway. So I have a recuperating day off!
