It was lovely to see my auntie, who is doing well. She has a good social life there!
Sainsbury's shopping put away. No substitutions and nothing missing this time!

Oma, many congratulations to your GS1 being offered a place straight away at Leeds Beckett. It sounds as though it's what he's looking for and they are obviously keen to have offered him a place there and then.

I got the lawn edged and cut, and then put a casserole in the oven for later. It's been a lovely sunny day today, although not that warm.

Good morning, Daisy, you didn't miss it, it is the age thing, dry eye's! I should have gone before now really, at least I have the right drops now and they are already helping. What with the pool etc I forgot to mention what the doctor said. We went to the pool in the car, we were getting our bikes out when the hailstones started.

Hubby out for a couple of hours,i've no plans.

Slow cooker filled with chicken and veg. Some for chicken stews and some will be turned into pies.

Dinner today is potato croquettes,fish fingers and beans.

Daisy, well done on getting the grass cut. The gardeners where my auntie is had just given the grass there it's first cut of the year.

I can cautiously say there does seem to be some improvement from the sciatica today , and it was a little easier before I went to bed.
I am going to go to the library but just do the reservation list ( from a list, looking for books on the shelves in either library which are needed for online reservations) As well as this there are usually a lot of returned books to replace on the shelves, plus shelf tidying and clearing tables in the cafe. I will tell them I can't do those this week.
GS1 from school. It is his parents evening so I will take him home so he can be getting ready for bed.

I have a. Telephone appointment with Dr at 9 about my tremor pills how they working etc I’m going to ask him about my breathing while I’m on , I think it may be my Asthma back but best to ask anyway .

Also GS1 rang he won his first kick Boxing match yesterday got a gold medal 😁so proud .

Good Tuesday morning everyone. It's pouring with rain here - no chance of gardening, but at least I got the lawn done yesterday.

Lizzie, it's surprising how uncomfortable dry eyes can be, so I'm glad you've got something to help.

Oma, a big well done to your GS on winning his first kick boxing match. You do feel proud, don't you. My GD2 got her karate green belt on Sunday and she was over the moon about it!

Gem, I'm so pleased you feel a little bit better, but please take care at the library. It's easy to overdo things when you see jobs that need doing. I hope GS1's parents' evening goes well. xx

Oma, congratulations to both of your GS’s GS1 sounds pleased with the offer from the University. Congratulations to GS2 for his medal. I wouldn’t want to tackle him. I hope the Drs appt goes well. GGS, has built lots of box sets, some of them quite large.

Spoke to Dr this morning, he’s sending me for a ECG in the mean time he’s gave me Inhalers,
pharmacy will deliver them today I think .
Said Receptionist will ring with the ECG appointment.

Oma, the drops are helping my eye, luckily! It isn't very often I get my eyes wet in the pool!! It is more aqua that we do so we don't need to get our heads under water. I hope that the inhalers help with your breathing.

My foot was playing up after the pool yesterday. It is fine when I wear the soles, I can't very well go in the pool with them though, I will have to try and not stand on my toes next week. I have just had a sorting out of shoes, if my soles don't fit in them there is no way I can wear them, so, had a sort out. The thing is Oma, I saw them in a shop yesterday, I couldn't remember which one, I even went on the bike to the next village, I found them in the end though, so handy.

I phoned about the noise from the ventilation system, the men have just been to tell me the motor needs replacing so they have switched it off, now I hope to sleep better! It was like a pump working.

I've seen those shoe holders before,probably on Amazon.

SIS in law and hubby are coming for dinner tomorrow.
She is coeliac, so i cooked the meat and veg in gluten free gravy, that she gave me some time ago.
I didn't have any gluten free flour, so while hubby was out,he nipped in the supermarket for some.
Haven't used it yet,will be making the pastry in the morning.
