Nothing Lizzie. It will pass in time. It's usually a bulging disc pressing on the nerve. There is an operation to relieve that, but only done as a last resort.
A dog eating pineapple upside down cake, what a waste!!

Daisy I am taking it easy whilst also keeping moving which is the advice! Lots of TV watching and seated drawing and craft activities with GS!

Oma do you use that L'Oréal root touch up spray between dyes? I find the brown one works well.

Yes I do and it works well although I don’t like the dry feeling ,
Morrisons do one I think it’s there own brand but it doesn’t cover as well and the spray goes everywhere .

I put my Dye on this morning with the help of Storm watching me , he followed me from Bathroom to Bedroom and sat on my feet while I waited for it to work as I played Wordle and flicked through FB
He lost interest when I washed it off then blow dried my hair

He realised no food or treats were involved 🤣

That Storm really is human isn’t he. My hair is turning to ppper and salt, still some auburn left.

Gemini, Sciatica isn’t something you can ignore and carry on, it is so painful, do take care.

Daisy, well done with the car, it does sound a lovely car. I still have my lovely mini which I shall stay with until I stop driving.

Lizzie, I bet your friend just said the dog ate the cake so you would make him another.

I have been in and out all day. Dr at 9am, she didn’t have anything nasty to tell me about the blood test and X-ray. 10am it was WI, then board games this afternoon. Quiet day tomorrow.

Plant, I never thought of that! I do know that my dog used to eat whatever he could get his teeth into!

          Good results from your Dr.

Good news on the Dr front Plant ,
Lizzie I bet the dog had one bit and he had the rest, as Plant said he wants another one 😁

              Great news Plant

Friends called in this afternoon and stayed for tea and a KitKat. One of them was the one who did GS2's 20 week scan.
He's grown a bit since then

Plant, good news from the DR.

We didn't get to the pub today,so hopefully that will be the plan for tomorrow.
I spent most of the afternoon helping hubby to mark out for a new path in the garden.
Its only a small path, but heavy rain stopped play.

Gem, not a lot they can do for sciatica.First time i had it, i was only 30.
                Painkillers didn't really help.

Plant, it's great when the doctor doesn't have nasty things to tell you. xx You've certainly had a busy day. Im glad you still like your Mini. I feel the same about my Yeti. I get a buzz out of driving it and love the sound of the engine!

Nanto, It sounds simple working out where to put a new path, but it isn't that easy is it. Did you both agree on where it should go? I hope you manage to get out for lunch tomorrow.

Gem, how lovely to see friends when you're not really well enough to go out yourself.

Lizzie, I had to laugh at the vision of the dog taking a whole cake! I hadn't thought perhaps it was said to encourage you to make another cake!

Oma, Storm doesn't miss a thing, does he. If he had thumbs he'd be dangerous!! (Only joking of course).

Our good weather this morning didn't last. It's been raining since just before lunch, and quite heavily at times. Dog training this afternoon was hard work. Lots of new games, but also Eva's two favourites - scent work and flyball. She's been fast asleep since she had her dinner tonight.

Feels a lot milder this morning.

Daisy,i hope we get out to eat today.I haven't taken anything out of the freezer,or planned a meal.
Hubby knew where he wanted the path. Its from the main path to the shed. The grass was getting a bit worn.

Poor Storm, expecting a treat but not getting anything.

                    Hairdresser coming this morning,about 10ish.

                      Morning Nanto/Ladies

Its never stopped raining since last night , its so grey and dreary .

                      Nanto
Fingers crossed you get out today or it will be a mad dash to sort something 😁

I bet she smiles when she sees GS2 and remembers when he was just a little peanut on the screen 😁

                      Daisy
Eva must have been tired after all that exercise,

GS & girlfriend came to pick Storm up last night and stayed for a few hours , she’s a lovely girl and makes herself at home curls up her feet on the sofa and settles in just how we like it ,
we know then they feel comfortable with us.

Got Togo to MILs this morning, she rang last night moaning about the cigarettes going up in the Budget to £14,75 a pack but she will still smoke as many as she always does ,
Mind you at 89 she’s entitled to do as she likes but don’t moan about it .
We just know the conversation we will have this morning 🙄

On the plus side for the first time ever since doing it I got Wordle in 1 try ,
I think I should get a gold star for that 😁
Small things make me happy these days 🙄🤣🤣🤣

                        Good morning ladies.

Nan2, we all vote you do go out for that meal today!

Oma, it's lovely when people relax and make themselves at home like that Wordle in one., Well Done!! I have yet to achieve that.

Free day today as I am going to see mum at the weekend for Mother's Day.

Good Thursday morning everyone. We've had lots of rain too, but it does feel milder, thank goodness.

Nanto, I hope you get your pub lunch today. It sounds as though your new path is straightforward, and if it saves walking over the grass to get to the shed it will be useful. Do you keep to the same or similar hairstyle or do you vary it?

Oma, your GS's girlfriend sounds perfect. I'm sure she really loves coming to see you both, and I can imagine you give her a very warm welcome. How can anyone afford to smoke these days! I had no idea they were that expensive. If you smoke 20 a day that would be nearly £300 a month!

No plans for us today. If it dries up a bit I'll get on with the garden.

Hi Gem, our posts crossed. I hope you're in less pain today. Take it easy.

Oma, sorry, I meant to say Well done - Wordle in one is amazing! You can't better that.

Oma, what a dreadful price for a packet of cigarettes. You will certainly hear about it when you go to visit Mil. Wordle in one is amazing. WG often does it in two I see on FB. GS1’s girlfriend sounds as if she meets your approval.

Nanto, enjoy your lunch out today

Gemini, I hope you are in less pain.

After my busy day yesterday, today I am going to rest, perhaps do some sewing.

                                Been to MILs ,
She was ok this morning a few moans but nothing major
Took her cigarettes and milk etc ,
chatted pleasantly enough mostly about the budget, Didnt call any of the neighbours this week she usually has something nasty to say about one of them ,

Stayed a bit longer than usual as she was being pleasant .
It was raining hard and blowing a gale when we left but 5 minutes up the road and it was clear and bright .
