    Good morning ladies ,
Gem hope DD is recovering well and not too sore today ,
be nice to put Baby to bed all those sleepy cuddles , howโ€™s he doing with his teeth are they through yet ?

    Nanto
I like baked potatoes with beans but not cheese my DD likes Branson pickle on hers , havenโ€™t tried it but it sounds interesting ๐Ÿ˜

    Lizzie
Hope the Jacket is the same , always good when you get something you like and they bring it back the next year .
stick with what you like and know ๐Ÿ˜

I like Slimma straight leg pull on trousers but they are hard to get now in a short leg ,
so I bought some similar from Damart. this week , lovely trousers but not as high on the waist as I like , they feel as though they are slipping down , yesterday I ended up putting a pin in the waist , I would have ordered a smaller size but I have a feeling Iโ€™m in between sizes , but they nice and smart and I can put a pin tuck in if need be .

Not doing much today we have the dog , Iโ€™ve cleaned through done all the door handles and light switches and prepared Storms lunch roast chicken and rice , heโ€™s raw fed but he does like his roast chicken when he comes to nanas ๐Ÿ˜

Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, it is annoying when you are used to clothes like trousers etc, they have to be a good fit. I have long arms, I could be shrinking all over but my arms stay long, I could never buy a cheaper coat or jacket as the sleeves would never be long enough.

Storm knows where he is spoilt!

Nanto, enjoy your company today, I bet they are always well fed at your house.

Oma, loved the pic of B and Finn, he is quite a screamer, Finn not B.

Daisy that sounds like disappointing news from you.

Gemini, your life is still very complicated, people coming and going. I hope you and S are feeling stronger. I hope your DD1 had a comfortable night.

I have a doctors appt. This morning and games this afternoon so quite a busy day.

Good Morning everyone the past few days have flown by with my new pal she has settled in so well even though she looks big and chunky she is like a soft marshmellow and so friendly she follows me all over the house sits by the back door to go out as she is so clean all I have to do is wash her eyes every morning as she came with a slight infection but they are clearing by the day,DS1 calls in every morning after his night shift and has been taking her with him to the doggy friendly cafe where he has his breakfast and she has made friends with 2 dogs there she is laying by my feet now snoring for England.

I have had my first cuddles of new baby I was sure I had posted about his arrival but can't find it anywhere he is so tiny no bigger than my DGDs Annabelle dolly just none of the clothes bought fit him we have had to swiftly buy some premature bits and bobs but he has put on 4oz since he was born which is good.

No news from next door as to how Jim is doing he is not answering his front or back door the carer said this morning he has taken to his bed she is phoning his niece again to get her to come down and visit, poor girl also cares for her mum as well as having full time job

DD expected to call in today with GGCs they are both off scholl for the week and DD is doing some child minding while mummy goes to work they are off to Liverpool as its GGDs birthday on March 4th she will be a big 7 already !! seems just yesterday we where celebrating her arrival and now I have 3 x GGCs.

Off for a short walk with my new friend we only go for 1/2 hour as she is still obviously overweight due to the crap foods she was fed by her previous owners I have her sitting and waiting for her food at meal times 7.30am & 5.30pm and she doesn't go to the dish until I tell her to "go" she is very good no treats between meals either she will soon loose the excess weight.

Bye for now lovely people will catch up soon xx

              Glamm
We had the same problem when GS1 was born he was so tiny 4lb 11oz , luckily across the road from the hospital was a baby shop and sold prem clothes ,
Actually we showed him his first prem hat last week he laughed when it fit on a apple ๐Ÿ˜

Im sure your new fur baby will bit fit and healthy with your loving care , she sounds a good girl ๐Ÿ˜

I have had a good sort out with my sewing box , the rubbish I threw away
Bits of elastic that were too short to do anything with, Threads in colours I have never used and never will.
Bits of lace, bits of cloth, A feather and 3 broken pegs , why they were in there I havenโ€™t a clue ๐Ÿ™„

Boot laces, do people buy boot laces these days? These have been in my sewing box for as long as I can remember no idea why I was keeping them ,

Itโ€™s all tidy and almost empty now, I only kept the threads and stuff I know I will use
              A good sort out ๐Ÿ˜

Well, I have finally got the TV! The friends were a good help, we were at the Makro, special offers etc, only thing was getting it and us all in the car! I thought I was going to have to walk home. The friend is coming on Friday to fix it all up for me.

Oma, I wouldn't know where to start with my sewing things. DH's mother died long before I met him and somehow or other her sewing things ended up here, I do have a clean out now and again though.

Glamm, how lovely for you to have your new companion, she sounds just right for you. 3 Great GC, you have caught me up now. Poor Jim, he seems to have taken to his bed and is not eating your lovely meals that he has enjoyed for so long. What a shame he will not agree to go into a care home to be looked after.

Lizzie, well done for buying your new TV, good job you didnโ€™t have to walk behind.

I could do with sorting my work box out, like you both I am sure I would find some strange bits at the bottom.

I like trousers with a zip Oma, high rise and straight leg. I used to buy them in M&S but not anymore.

Busy day but all went well. Got GS1 to school on time. Did the quick turnaround for my Aquafit class then relaxed with a coffee and chat after the class.
DD1 is doing well, not much bleeding. It was SIL's day to collect GS from school so she had a day to herself. She has decided to take the rest of week off as Friday is her birthday. It will do her good

OH and I just did bath, bottle, teeth ( all 3 of them!) and stories before taking the baby up to his cot. He went straight to sleep. Such a good boy ๐Ÿ˜Š

You do right to treat yourself to the jacket Lizzie!

You have all been busy today!

                        Lizzie,glad you got the tv.

Visitors enjoyed their dinner, clean plates and dishes all round.
Just as they were leaving, sis in law and hubby arrived. They didn't go till 5.30.
Had a lovely natter,we never struggle for anything to talk about.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Nanto - what a lovely friendly family you have.

Gem, pleased to hear DD is doing well, and it will do her good to have had a restful day today. I bet baby E was tired from all the lovely cuddles he's been having. Does he go through the night?

Plant, I think M&S have lost a lot of previously good customers by trying to attract younger buyers, who mostly wouldn't be seen in any M&S trousers. I find it very off-putting as well when I see clothes on a model and they "usefully" tell you that the model is 5'10" and is wearing a size 8-10!! I can't think of a single friend of mine who fits that description!

Lizzie, a new TV and a new jacket. I do hope the jacket hasn't been restyled or anything. I had a little smile to myself, picturing you running behind the car.

Oma, would you like to come and sort out my sewing box as well? It's currently spread all over the dining room table where GD1 emptied it out last week. We always keep spare boot laces in, for our walking boots. They seem to snap quite regularly. Did Storm enjoy his lunch?

Glam, yes you did give us the lovely news about your little GGS. I saw the lovely family photos of him on FB - what a sweet little chap he is. I love the description of your new pal as being like a soft marshmallow, but I'm sure she will soon loose a bit of weight with regular walkies and outings with your DS. She sounds like a perfectly lady as well!

Good morning.Sun is shining but its colder.

Not expecting any visitirs today, but then yo never know.

Gem, hope DD is recovering nicely.

Dinner is sliced potatoes, onions and corned beef. Took it out of the freezer yesterday.
It will be heated up in the microwave,so a nice easy meal.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.
                              Bright and sunny morning here!

As you say Nan2, you never know when visitors will turn up! When we were infectious with covid I warned a few people not to turn up!

Daisy, GS doesn't always go through the night, the illness set him back a bit I think. As his parents were here looking after him during the night, it didn't bother us

DD and baby will go home today, theoretically the builders will have finished - for now. They will come back in a month or so to do the roof and velux window.
It is the AGM of our library Friends group late this afternoon. The first in the new library. I have a few things to print and organise for that, otherwise a free day. I was busy yesterday so a easier day today will be good!

Good Thursday morning everyone. Dull and cloudy but at least it's not raining.

I'm meeting up with a group of old College friends - first time for a while - for lunch. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again. But first - I need to speak to BT to try and get a router delivered. According to their timeline the job is complete, I wish to differ!!

I'll drop in later to catch up with everyone. x
