Those babies are growing so fast, six months is a lovely age.

Sil has Covid and he was with all those family members partying over the weekend. He said he didn’t feel well and yesterday evening he took a test. DD came in to let me know, fortunately I was only in his company briefly. They are due to go to their shared house in Normandy this weekend. I shall keep away and hope none of the partygoers get it.
We have sunshine again but not so much frost. I need to track down a fluorescent tube and a fridge bulb today, no luck yesterday. Might see GD1, she has a day off today and H is at the childminders.

Have a nice day in town Nanto, we don’t have Tmax here or BonMarche. I don’t expect they are far away. The shops in our local town are closing down quite fast, the council did a dreadful thing years ago, took all the old character out of the town and replaced it with The Octagon. We had a lovely stream running though it, that was put underground. The only thing worth going in there for is M&S, I hate going down there

Busy day for you Gemini, enjoy coffee with DD.

Daisy, I hope the kitchen enjoys getting a makeover. Yes, those babies are lovely and I love seeing them.

I got a pair of black trousers in Bon Marche. Also wanted a pair in navy, but they didn't have my size.
I'm not desoerate for them,i'll pop in next time i'm in town.

Oma, thank you for the lovely photos of Finn.
We didn't eat out,we were home for 11.

      Plant,we have a T-Max,but its a shop i don't particularly like.
Hope SIL isn't too poorly. Have you heard anything about the other partygoers.

Just popped my head in next door to see if DD needed some help with putting the bins up. Sil not at all well, he is watching rugby he must have recorded. I have been out to lunch with GD1, H was at childminders, it was a nice change for GD to have some time to herself.

Nan2 I like Bon Marche trousers as they do short lengths! I have several pairs of jeans in blue and black, and other trousers.

Plant, much as we love the little ones it is nice to have time with the mum's without them sometimes! I hope your SIL is better soon and no one else catches it.

Oma, we have had some nice things from there, and Roman which I would not have heard of if it wasn't for you.

I had a very good morning at the library. It's lovely to be busy and have so many appreciate customers.
DD met me there and we had lunch in the cafe. Then we took the baby into the children's library to look at some books.

DD and baby were still here when GS1 and I got in from school, so that was nice for them both
They are going to DD's dad's for the day tomorrow.

              Change of plan tomorrow!
DD and baby will be here again and staying the night. It's dusty and cold at theirs at the moment. Although they would be fine at her dad's it's not geared up for a baby to stay overnight as we are here.

Gem, how lovely, you're getting lots of cuddle time with baby E. Will the work on his mummy and daddy's house take long? The new library sounds great - I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Plant, your poor SIL. I hope he's soon feeling better and no-one else catches it. I'm sure your GD1 enjoyed your time together just as much as you did. It is nice to have a bit of grown-up time sometimes, much as we love our little ones.

Nanto, I'm not keen on TK Maxx either, but I have found some real gems there occasionally. I have to be in the mood! At least you got one pair of trousers.

                  Red sky again.It looks lovely.

Gem, extra cuddles for you today then.

Thats why i buy trousers from Bon Marche, for the shorter length.
I don't have to shorten them. Never bought a skirt from there, they are always way too long.
I'v'e got quite a few tops from there. Always wash and iron nicely.

                  Plant,hope SIL feels better soon.

We might be eating out at the pub today. Hubby mentioned it yesterday.

                    Good morning ladies.
Nan2, I hope you get your pub lunch.

OH was very happy yesterday. She won £25 pounds at golf, coming first out of 54

Aquafit this morning. I need petrol so have to leave earlier to do that on the way. DD and baby will be here when I get back. OH and I are going to see my mum this afternoon. Mum has been asking to see her, so it has to be a non golf day.

                    Bye for now!

                      Enjoy your lunch out .
Apart from Bon Marche the only trousers I can get in a short leg is from Slimma twice the price of Bon Marche though .

                      Gem
At least you know DD and baby will be warm and away from dust and dirt ,
I think girls feel more at home at Mums house anyway especially staying overnight .
Did GS1 mention his stay at Daddy’s ?

                      Daisy
My DD has had some lovely stuff from TKMax , I never see anything I like , I mustn’t be looking hard enough 😁

Good Wednesday morning everyone. The frost is back! And frost! And I'm fed up with it!

Oma, I had to laugh at your GS1 and mates descending on you, raiding the cupboard for food and a can of pop and disappearing again. But don't think it will stop when he goes to Uni. He will need loads of food to take back with him whenever he comes home. And you may be the lucky recipient of his washing as well if his mum happens to be busy! Oh and they bring lots of hungry friends with them as well. I have to confess I loved my sons bringing all their friends here, even if it looked like a tornado had passed through the house.

Gem, Well done to S on winning at golf. That was a lot of competition, so even more well done to her. I hope your visit to your mum goes well - I'm sure she'll be pleased to see S. I hope the water's nice and warm at aquafit.

Nanto, a pub lunch is always something to look forward to. It's good there is somewhere where you can buy trousers that you know will fit. I find it quite hard. Mostly I get them from Land's End but sometimes M&S are quite good.

Plant, how is your SIL? I hope everyone else is ok. xx

Dog training for me and Eva this afternoon. I hope the frost has gone by then.

Sil’s birthday today, I hope he is feeling better today. We have freezing fog, not nice. I am very slow this morning, no rush, I have board games in the village hall this afternoon. Not sure how he is today, he was still quite poorly yesterday. I am keeping away, even from my DD.

Well done to S for winning the golf Gemini. Lots of cuddles again today for you. Enjoy your Aquafit, I still can’t swim, still have the spots.

I love your GS bringing his friend in, he knows he and his friend will be welcome. Like Daisy, my son was always bringing hungry friends home, the local ones I still see and get hugs and thanks for feeding them. One young man, no mother, didn’t get on with his dad used to turn up with DS and sleep on the floor. My DD married a friend of my son’s.

Nanto, I hope you get your pub lunch, nice to have a rest from cooking

Hows Eva doing with her training ?
The friend GS came with this morning lives next door almost to him they have been friends since birth ,
We know him so well ,
My DD always has a house full she feeds them all too , she often finds their clothes in her laundry too , Hoodies shorts etc it’s open house 😁

Hallo everyone, it is still cold here, supposed to be getting warmer by the end of the week. I have had a carry on trying to get in touch with the fridge people! It still isn't working as it should, the man said to phone if it didn't improve, I tried all day yesterday, 4 different numbers and couldn't get any further then the choices! The same carry on this morning, I thought it was my phone, I did manage to send a message on FB, I came home from the sport school and had a message telling me that all the telephone's were not working!! I have managed to get through now so hopefully it will be repaired this time.

Gem, enjoy your time with DD and the baby, I have missed a few posts with being so busy with so many things yesterday! I did get my hair cut in-between everything, made an appointment for a mammogram, that is here in the village, I think it will be my last one as I will be 75 this year.

We haven't got Bon Marche, I am a TKMaxx fan, had quite a few good things over the last few years, I am also a Zalando fan, especially when they have 70% offer. My wardrobe is full now though.

Good afternoon, (just!). Freezing again here, they keep, saying it’s going to get warmer, I wish it would hurry up. Popped out quickly with DD earlier but we didn’t stay out long and I’ve been pottering around since I came home. Sorting out my wool, a friend is making things for an Easter fair and I said I’d let her have some odds and ends that she can make toys with.

my knees are so. I have better, I can’t quite believe the difference since I had the injection. It’s so much easier getting out of a chair and going up and down stairs, amazing.

Hope everyone is well and keeping warm.
