It was minus 3 when Is went out this morning, I had to defrost the car. I don't think it's much warmer now but is has turned into a sunny bright day .
Busy at the library which is good. All customers I speak to are very complimentary about the new library. So much seating everywhere makes it a lot easier for me to sit sometimes when I am shelf stocking. We only had one spare seat before which served as the adult seat in the children's section and a seat for the elderly or anyone needing a seat . So I often couldn't use it!
Shopping arrived and is put away. Chicken casserole from the freezer defrosting for tonight's meal.

Pie was scrummy,even though i do say so myself. The other 2 have been frozen.

I've been cleaning some of the kitchen cupboards and got rid of a little bit of junk.

Daisy, the play place we like to go to is for under 4’s, it is quite small and very clean. I don’;t like the large ones as the older children scream a lot with excitement and there is too much equipment that H can’t use.

We had a lovely morning, cold but frosty with sunshine. I have done a large shop at Waitrose so tired now and watching bowls.

Nanto - so two more yummy pies to look forward to. It's quite satisfying when you can tidy and cupboard and make a bit more room.

Yes, my GTech has arrived, but OH hasn't had time to assemble it yet. I hope he can do it later.

Gem, it's very tiring when you are on your feet all the time, so I'm glad you can have a sit down more easily now. Better for your knee, too. How is it after the injection?

The temperature hasn't got above freezing today. Luckily our patio was dry so it's not iced over, but Eva isn't too keen to go out there! I made carrot and parsnip soup for lunch, with plenty left to freeze for another day. The trouble is, I now don't feel hungry enough to motivate myself to cook dinner! I cooked liver treats for Eva for training tomorrow, and cut OH's hair, and that's about it.

I bought some Birds Eye cod in breadcrumbs last week,or i thought i had.

I haven't looked out yet so I don't know if we have snow here Nan2 but it's very cold.

Daisy my knee is definitely improved. I could tell that yesterday as with the bigger library and the cafe being between the adult and children's library there is a lot more walking to do now!

Aquafit this morning, free the rest of the day. Golf again for OH. That is yesterday, today and tomorrow. They must be mad in these temperatures!
I will be inside keeping warm once I am back from my class.

Good Wednesday morning, everyone. We've had a very heavy frost again overnight, but a pretty sunrise. The sun is doing nothing to raise the temperatures though.

OH is going out for coffee and lunch today, and Eva and I have got training this afternoon. It's a pity this lunch, which is only every two months is on the same day as training. I'd like to do both!

Gem, thank goodness you knee is much better. Take care in this icy weather, though. xx I hope the changing rooms at aquafit are warm! OH must really love her golf to be playing in these temperatures. It's quite surprising the course is open.

Nanto, I'm sure the snow looks pretty, but as you say, enough is enough! Enjoy your battered fish! It's easily done when the packets are so similar.

Annoying when you pick the wrong thing up , I like the Birdseye southern fried chicken but we picked the battered one up by mistake ,
I found it bland and greasy , Will double check next time .

Good morning everyone, there has been a frost and the sun is now out, I want to go to Delft after Synergy as DS2 and his friend are re-fitting a shop in the centre.

Gem, I am pleased your knee has improved, how many injections are you allowed? They told me when I had my foot done that it is maximum 3 times, once was enough for me!

Oma, pleased your back is improving, at least you can climb the stairs now.

Nanto, I often get a "surprise" packet out of my freezer, with being alone I freeze things in in portions, some days I think it is chicken then it is pork or whatever.

Sorry, another absence from me, I don’t where the days are going! It seems ages since Christmas but it’s not even a month yet. i’ve had busy days and quiet days and I enjoy both so that’s ok. It’s been nice to get back to my knitting and craft groups and thers out first family history meeting of the year on Saturday.

Gem, I’m having my knees injected tomorrow so I was pleased to see yours had improved. I really want to be able to walk further than I can at present, so fingers crossed it works.

Its been so cold here the last couple of days after so much rain, the local river flooded the adjoining fields and roads but luckily we’re high up here so we weren’t affected. Had to scrape the ice off the car yesterday, not something I have to do very often.

Hope everyone is ok, and keeping warm. 😀
