My friend T enjoyed his lunch very much. He is a pescatarian so we had salmon, followed by apple sponge and ice cream with a chilled glass of white ( just half a glass for me as driver!)

I collected GS1 and we dropped a get well card off for C on the way home. We didn't go in, but she looked quite bright and was looking forward to seeing me on Thursday .

We had torrential rain here, luckily it was when T and I were safe and dry in my house.

Pleased T enjoyed his lunch.

Not much happening today. I think it will be a go with the flow day.

Dinner is a beef and veggie pie from the freezer. Its a homemade one.

Nan2, I plan on making a chicken and mushroom pie tomorrow. My first ever non-fruit pie!

A lovely sunny morning here at the moment

Aquafit this morning. We usually stay for a coffee afterwards.
This afternoon OH and I are taking my mum out. We are trying a new tearoom which is no more than five minutes drive from mum. As the journey back can be trying, this is a good move. I think mum needs to get out more. OH is always on the golf course on my usual Thursday mum day, so I changed my day this week so we can go out.

B has Dentist today lost a filling from front tooth and one little one needs building up a bit ,
His teeth haven’t been good since he had all those years of chemo so trying to keep the ones he has for a few years more 😁

Hes taking his Mam to the breast clinic this afternoon to have this lump checked , Her GP thinks it’s only a cyst but due to previous breast cancer it has to be checked .
I was going to go with her but they still not allowing anyone in so no use both me and B sitting in waiting room taking spaces up .

Housework done and ironing done ,
Dog just arrived so off to get his treats .

Gemini, enjoy your Aquafit. Lunch with your friend T sounded good, I bet he enjoyed it. I hope the weather will be fine when you take your mum out, good idea to go somewhere closer to her home.

I have to pop out to deliver something to a friend soon. My DD had a word with my DS yesterday and as she is going to be out all day today at the funeral he is going to pop round to see me, although there is no need I am going to let him come as I don’t see him very often although he is only 20mins away. I am always welcome if I pop in, he and my dil are very hospitable and have lots of friends. This afternoon is Board Games in the village hall, I shall go if I feel up to it.

Good Wednesday morning, everyone. It's bright and sunny here, so we're already out in the garden trying to catch up a bit. But I'm just off to take Eva out for walkies before training this afternoon, so will pop back in later.

MIL back from Hospital all clear it is just a cyst ,
Had a Mammogram and ultra sound , nothing to do just keep a eye on the lump incase it bursts ,

B said she was her usual loud embarrassing self but he just sat in the waiting room till she went in .

Oh thank goodness Oma. I know MIL is a pain but none of us wish anything bad for her!

Plant I hope you felt up to going to the games afternoon.

Its been a day of torrential rain interspersed with bright sunshine here.
The cafe was very nice and the scones delicious! It was too draughty AND too sunny for mum, so we had to change tables and seats a few times In the end all was well. She enjoyed her time and we took her back to her room and stayed with her for about 20 minutes more.

I forgot to mention that the King and Camilla were in York today.
I saw on the lunchtime news that some idiot threw an egg at him.

Gem, I saw that on the news as well. I have to say the King was brilliant - he didn't bat an eyelid, just glanced round and proceeded to greet the next person. I don't know what people hope to achieve by doing such infantile things! I'm glad your mum enjoyed her outing, despite playing musical tables.

Nanto, the first time I made a savoury pie it was chicken, leek and mushroom. I've got one of those pie funnel thingies but the pastry collapsed round it! The visitors gave it 10 points for flavour and nil points for presentation!

Plant, how did your day go in the end?

Oma, thank goodness your MIL's lump was just a cyst. Poor B, I hope she didn't embarrass him too much. Did you have a nice day with Storm?

I took Eva out into the Forest today. It was very windy so I headed for an area with no trees, but it didn't really help - she doesn't like the wind! Dog training was going well and Eva had enjoyed everything we did. At the end we were doing flyball (using treats instead of a ball) and one dog was just hitting the box to make the treat fly out and another dog suddenly went for him. There was a lot of noise but no real damage and the naughty dog was firmly taken out and put in the owner's car. Eva watched all this without batting an eyelid, but when it was all quiet again she got off her mat and came and sat on my feet. Just to make sure everything was ok!

OH is busy wood turning today, and I'm waiting for him to come in to get dinner ready!

It's nice to have a relaxing day, Oma, and I bet both you and Storm enjoyed it. Eva's used to that particular dog being very bouncy and sometimes barking at the other dogs - she was barking at Eva just before she went for the other dog. It's taught Eva to ignore other mouthy dogs she meets when she's out!

Yesterday turned out to be busy. DS1 and GD2 came for dinner and stayed quite a while.

This morning I am going to see C and P. As it's not raining golf won't be cancelled so it will be only me.
As we took mum out yesterday my Thursday afternoon is free. Lots of things I could do, time will tell which if any I do

DD3 and baby have colds, I hope they feel better very soon.
Will the builders bag go today???
