Gem, how exciting having baby E! I hope you don't have a sleepless night. Be careful with your shoulders and back when you're lifting him up. My OH would say to leave the drive to settle a bit longer as well.

Plant, of course we'll wave you off! I like having a hotel stay the night before a holiday, as Gem, says, the excitement starts then. I also like the ferry crossing as well. I hope you have a calm crossing tomorrow. Will you be at the house in time for lunch?

Oma, poor you. It's horrible when you're in pain during the night and can't get comfortable. I hope you have a nana nap this afternoon.

I've ignored the housework, but I have tidied out the "dog's cupboard" in the utility. It had got to the stage where you had to be ready to catch whatever fell out when you opened the door.

Gem, glad DS enjoyed his party.

Oma, we did eat out at the garden centre.

Didn't get everything i wanted in Asda today.
So we called in farmfoods on the way home.
Managed to get honey nut cornflakes and chocolate weetabix. Also bought some Carte Dor ice cream while in there.
Couldn't get my usual Birds Eye fish in either Asda or Farmfoods.

Its a bit of a tradition that when we go to the garden centre, wneh all the christmas stuff is out,i buy 1 new bauble.
Today,i was quite taken with a sparkly shoe.

Nanto, that's a pretty bauble. I think Cinderella will be knocking on your door soon to reclaim it!

Daisy, we are only having baby E for the day tomorrow, not overnight DD will bring him in the morning and we will take him back.

            That looks like a Cinderella's slipper Nan2

Sorry, Gem. I don't know why I thought you had baby E overnight!

Oma, I do like tidy cupboards etc but hate keeping them that way!

Daisy, I think my wording made it sound as though we already had him here and were taking him back tomorrow

A little late today, it has been a lovely day again, I got all the washing dry and tidied away.

Plant, I hope you have a nice holiday and that the weather stays decent for you all.xx

Oma, for you a better nights sleep!xx

Daisy, that is a very tidy doggy cupboard.

Gem, enjoy your day with the baby tomorrow.xx

Nanto, I like the bauble, but, I don't think I would like the chocolate weetabix!! I do love weetabix but I am very strange with anything with a "flavour"!

My neighbour came to the door this morning wearing her Jack Murphy raincoat!! Exactly the same as mine but more lightweight, she loved mine and has been looking on Ebay ever since, I must say she got a bargain with it as well.

I had a Lidl box today, they are so popular and very difficult to get one, I got this one later yesterday evening as one of the payments can't have gone through. It was worth going for as well.

Love the bauble very pretty 😁

handy to be able to get on your drive via the neighbours , as you say easier to get baby E in car tomorrow .

                    Daisy
                    Nice tidy cupboard ,
Our dog stuff is in a cupboard in the downstairs loo , Storm knows his treats are in there so stands with his nose on the loo door when he wants one 😁

                    Lizzie
I almost bought a box from our Lidl this morning but it was a big box far to much in for us ,
Never thought I could have gave my DD half of it .

We don’t often get really good boxes they often look a bit naff and past their best .

I tried to have a Nana nap this afternoon but DD came with Storm,
By time they left it was too late ,

We have him again now as DD & SIL have gone to the cinema and GS is at work .
He is laying on the floor snoring right in front of kitchen door , so having to keep stepping over him 🙄😁

I Have just done the ironing , thankfully not a lot as it was painful standing , I put it off all day but I hate leaving it so plodded on and got it out of the way .

Been flicking through the TV channels, nothing worth watching at the moment, shocking for a Saturday night .

Oma, we always say tv is terrible on a saturday night.
                        We watch something we've recorded.
If hubby watches something i'm not bothered about,i'm quite happy to read my magazines.

Lizzie, you did better with your washing than me! I went to put the first load out, but it was drizzling. So I tried again a bit later. It was nice and dry and the sun came out. I was just pegging the last item out and it started to rain again! Grrrr.....

Nanto, I think tv is generally rubbish on a Saturday night. We watched a bit of Coldplay tonight but that was all. I usually read while OH is watching tv, or come online.

Oma, I had to smile at Storm asking for treats. Cooper knows which part of the freezer the sprats are kept and plants hi nose firmly on that part of the door! Eva just looks at us with raised eyebrows. She knows we're a soft touch. I do hope you sleep better tonight and feel better tomorrow.

Lizzie, my GS2 loves chocolate Weetabix, and when I used to get it in for him when they were children I used to make sure I sent the packet back with him. My OH had some one day by mistake. He wondered what had happened.

The dog cupboard is still tidy!!!

We mostly watch recorded programmes or Netflix.

I have to say though that tonight's TV was fine for us.

The Wheel with Michael MacIntyre, Strictly and Gogglebox. The TV programmers were pleasing someone anyway

We got all the bedding dry on the line, a bonus at this time of year.

Daisy, I can understand your DH wondering what he was eating with the choc weetabix, I like Quaker Oats etc, I see those with flavours as well but would never try them.

Had a bit of drizzle during the night. I was up having a cuppa during the night.
The weather yesterday when we were out was lovely.

                                Plant,have a lovely holiday.

Hubby gone to the car boot with his brother.
No plans for me today, unless things change.

Didn't take anything out of the freezer yesterday for todays dinner.
So, not sure what we will be having.
