Nanto, what lovely pics of your dear GGS. Very important job choosing pebbles.

WG, sorry to hear you have come home with a cold, keep warm. Is your son still with you?

Mimi, that was sad a young girl dying like that, what a shock for her family.

I had a busy day yesterday, cleaning windows, mirrors etc. I have to go out this morning and this afternoon it is card and board games in the village hall. I am still hoping to go back to aqua if and when these spots disappear, I am beginning to think, never.

            Tommie is adorable Nanto!

Had a good night's sleep but woke up far too early! Washing on, not as much as I thought, so not as much to iron, phew!

Nose running less, but still coughing.

Fridge is bare, so need to get some food in today. My library books are due back today, I'd hoped to renew them on line but there's a request in for one of them, so I'm as well to take them all back. Will pop into the Coop and get my bits and pieces while I'm there. SiL has taken my spare key with him to his week's rehab so DD couldn't get in to check what I needed.

Sun is shining, but it's a bit chilly, so I'll get washing hung out and get on with things,

Have a good day ladies xx

Plant we were writing at same time!!

No, DS has gone back. He stayed with his sister while I was away. I've booked to go and see him at Christmas.

I sometimes hear your GGC, but I can't see them in the garden. My shed must be right on the boundary with your GS's garden.

Hope your spots soon clear. Once this cold has gone, I'll be in touch about a lunch date!

You could just squeeze them at that age and smother them with kisses 😁

                Plant
hopefully the rash will clear soon and you can get back to Aqua x

WG going to see DS atChristmas will be something to look forward too xx

                  Hello everyone.

Just at the moment "What I am Doing Today" is running round like the proverbial B A fly and not getting anywhere. I'll be back this evening to read all your posts. xx

`Hallo everyone, oh dear, I have managed to cut the fake fur out, what a mess, to say the least, I can't hoover either so going after myself with a mop! I have got it all edged on the serger so it shouldn't shed so many hairs now!

I had a walk this morning and I hope to get to the library, I will see how the showers come and go.

Plant, what did they say the spots are? have I missed that?

                      Nan2, Tommie looks SO cuddly

I hope the cold is better soon WG. That's not a good thing to bring back from a holiday!

Plant are you avoiding the pool because you feel the water will make the spots worse, or from embarrassment? It's such a shame that you are missing out on something you enjoy and is good for you.

Good aqua class and a coffee with my two aqua friends. I came home and showered, had lunch, hung out some washing and picked a few green beans and feel too tired/relaxed to go newsletter delivering! They must go out by the end of the month, so I will have to finish them tomorrow. Unless I get a burst of energy later!

The letter from the private specialist says that the biopsy showed that it was not psoriasis but the pathologist suggested that this could represent pityriasis lichenoides chronica and would be best treated with phototherapy. My GP has, in the meantime, has prescribed some tablets to hopefully treat this and has referred me to an NHS Dermatology Dept. I am hoping to get some phototherapy eventually. Pool Swimming is not advised, maybe sea swimming could be okay. Off to Blenheim tomorrow with my NT group, I hope there isn’t too much walking but haven’t been there for years, there is a lot to look at indoors.

I do envy you Gemini and Lizzie because I consider Aqua is the best form of exercise for me.

WG Christmas with your son is something to look forward to, do they have mush snow there. I did wander down the garden on Sat during the noisy party, I could see your Juliet balcony and a shed but nothing else. the hedges are so high. A meet would be good.

Games afternoon was enjoyable as usual, I hope they will attract a few more people in the Winter.

Mimi, it's lovely to see you posting but what a dreadfully sad time with so many funerals. Your friend's family must be devastated by their loss. I hope they can at least find out what caused it. I'm all for finding a bargain if you can, even if it's not needed until the end of December. I'm pleased to hear you are feeling more confident about going out and seeing friends again. I think it's taken us all time to come to terms with a new reality and to brave certain situations. I hope your OH has found the perfect tv to fulfil his gadget list.

Nanto, your OH and mine are from the same mold, I'm sure! He always wants me to go with him to look at things I know nothing about. The latest is to see a couple whose elderly parent has passed away and they need to clear his wood turning shed out. I would be of no use whatsoever as extent my knowledge about wood turning equipment would fit onto a very small postage stamp. I hope you enjoy pebble hunting.

                          Tommie is absolutely adorable. xx

Gem, please YES! S would be made very, very welcome, treated like royalty and would earn my undying gratitude. glad you enjoyed your Aqua class.

Oma, I've been expecting rain here today as our window cleaner came this morning, but we were lucky - so far.

Plant, I should think the cards and games session will be very popular in the winter when people can't go to their outdoor activities.

WeeGranny, thank goodness your cold is getting better. I hope your fridge is nicely packed with goodies now, and you got your library books sorted out ok. Christmas with your son will be lovely.

This morning in the Daisy domain was chaos! I'd got up fairly early and planned to take Eva for a short walk round the block so she wasn't too tired for training this afternoon. I did a bit more sorting stuff out because OH wanted to move some chests of drawers and other stuff into the spare bedroom where I have my computer, but it all took longer than I thought. I just got back from the walk when the window cleaners arrived. We always make them coffee and have a chat, and they are very good at doing odd little jobs for us. Then OH got a message that something he'd sold on eBay was going to be collected. But the lady couldn't get in touch with us (because she'd been given the wrong phone number) so it took a while to sort that out. She wanted to come late morning, but OH wanted to go into the village and I pointed out that I was going out as well. The item needed washing down, so the window cleaners did that for us. Then DS1 rang about arrangements for the week-end. They are visiting his cousin in Southampton so might call round here as well. Then the lady turned up just as we were about to have a quick, early lunch, and the item wouldn't go in their car so we had to take it apart. Then our neighbour arrived home and Eva went off to play with Missy.

In the rush to get to dog training in time I forgot my treats bag, and the spare one I usually keep in my car had a belt clip, but my jeans didn't have a belt or even belt loops. So I put the treats bag on a dog lead over my shoulder. It hung down so low Eva thought treats had become self-service! We did several new activities today and one of them Eva was convinced was scent work and she kept taking bits of equipment apart to find a non-existent treat.

I'm typing this in between helping OH to move furniture, get various things in and out of the loft and 'hold the other end' while he measures up where he can put things.

Moving house would be much simpler, but I hadn't better say anything, since I am the one who wanted new carpets.

                              Good morning everyone.

Daisy, you have been so busy since you got home! Once you have the lovely new carpets it will be worth it I'm sure.

Plant, I hope you have a good time at Blenheim and there isn't too much walking.

I am hoping to get an emergency dental appointment today. A tooth I have had problems with in the past has been tender to bite on for a day or so. This has happened in the past but calmed down so I hoped it would be the same this time. It is a patched tooth which we know has to come out eventually, but I am hanging onto it for as long as I can. During the evening it became more painful and it has kept me awake most of the night. Ibuprofen gives me a couple of hours respite. I have e mailed the surgery for an emergency appointment and will try phoning later if I don't hear from them.
Bad timing as we go to Richmond later today for the long weekend! If needs be we could go tomorrow, and as it's only an hours drive we could come back for an appointment if necessary. I would prefer to get things sorted today though, so fingers crossed.
OH is playing golf this afternoon. We cant get into the house until 4.30. We plan to set off around 4, but it will now depend on the dentist situation of course.

Daisy, hope you have an easier day today.

Gem, hope the dentist can sort you out sooner rather than later.

                                GD1 is 28 today.

Tommie has a scan today for his kidneys. Hope everything is ok.

I'm picking up my new glasses today.
