Hope they don’t pass the cold on but I bet DD will appreciate the chance to rest.

When mine and my sisters children were small we loved going to our Mams, she would pack us off to bed for a hour or so and take the children out either to the shops or to my Brothers who lived a few streets away to give us some peace and quiet 😁

Up early so housework done, washing done, been to B&M and Lidl.
Now having a cuppa and a browse.

Hope Daisy is enjoying her break away and they got the gas valve fixed.

Gem, i really like the air fryer.

Did my jobs while hubby was out.
When he came home,we popped up to Farmfoods.
Only got ice cream,sprouts and potato croquets.

Sorry I haven’t posted before, no internet connection. In fact on investigation I hadn’t got any any electrics except for the lights. The fuse box was not responding to a re-set. Went to JL snd Waitrose with GD and baby H and when we came home GD FaceTimed her father (who is on holiday) and we had to empty freezers but talking her through a check list, it turned out to be a fault with their dish washer. The re-set button then worked and now I have connection. Very sad, whilst all this was going on I had a phone call to say my oldest friend had died. We hadn’t seen much of each other recently because she and her husband moved to Devon to be near to DD and family. We go back to childhood friends, we were neighbours and I was one of her bridesmaids. I have found the news quite upsetting.

DD and baby still have colds but both are a lot better than yesterday DD says. SIL has it now though!
We had a good day. DD and I went for a good walk with baby, calling into Cooplands on the way back to buy sandwiches and a cake for our lunch .
DD had a nap during the afternoon and I looked after the baby.
Coldy SIL collected them about half an hour ago.

First vaccination day for baby tomorrow.

I've done quite a few things in air fryer. Chips,roast potatoes,pork chops,bacon,sausages and pasties to name a few.

Good morning. Feels a bit milder this morning.

I'm going to prepare a strawberry and apple pie today.
DS1 and GD2 are coming tomorrow.
Hubby and DS1 doing a job on grandaughters car.
I'm doing a roast chicken dinner tomorrow,must go and get the chicken out of the freezer.
When i have done the pie, i'll leave it in the fridge and bake it tomorrow.

Dog day today and GS for his lunch he has a early finish from college on a Wednesday.

Just done dogs lunch chicken and rice, he will be able to smell it when he comes in so he will pester for a little sneak taste 😁

I was in Lidl yesterday their to go boxes were lovely for a change ,
they usually not that good but yesterday everything looked fresh .

Aquafit for me this morning, then coffee with my friend. Then I popped into M and S food hall (we park near there) for some nice biscuits to take when I go to my friend M's for coffee tomorrow. I came out with few other things, but not that. I forget that was what I had gone in for

GS1 from school this afternoon.

Very chilly when I set out for the pool at 9.15, very warm in the sun when I left the leisure centre!

I have made my neighbour friend happy with a few things, then again she does the same for me.

Plant, sorry to read about your friend, it is a long time to be friends.xxxx I am pleased they got the electricity sorted out, I couldn't get my heating working right the other day, I was going to phone but someone else beat me to it, I was in the shed and a young man was busy in the (old) boiler room, I asked if he fancied a coffee, oh yes pleased, he came up here for it and believe it or not we chatted for 90 minutes! It was his lunch break as well, a really nice young man, otherwise I wouldn't have had him indoors.

Oma, has Storm enjoyed his lunch?

Oma, I am fine after a few off days from the (dog) allergy! I like the Lidl boxes but so does the rest of the village, so difficult to claim one at the moment.

Nanto, your meals sound delicious, I can almost smell the roast chicken!xxx
