Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.

There are a lot of outside lights in our village Nan2 but only a handful of us in our road have them.

Aquafit for me. If I can manage it I think it will help my back.
Later we are going to sit with our neighbour 2 doors away while her husband goes for a hospital appointment.. She has dementia so can't be left..We did the same a couple of weeks ago. I think.she enjoyed chatting to us!
Present wrapping to be done after that.

Good Morning ladies its so so cold here on The Wirral !! Oliver popped his head out of the back door for a quick trip down the garden he was back in super quick time and back on the sofa on his fleece all cuddled up warm.

Gem's I have not had a festive meal as yet I have one booked for early next week with some old neighbours and my neighbour next door we go to a local pub which serves good home cooked food,I love the sound of the pears they are my favourite I even like tinned pears.

To-day I am off to Iceland also for a stock up on pizza's as an emergency DGSs are sure to turn up over the holidays hungry and they are a nice change when they need something quickly.

Gem's I bet you enjoy the little ones singing this year I have not been invited to DGDs nativity play the xDIL has not let me or DS1 when it is she is being very difficult about xmas visits for some reason I am keeping my own council about things at present .

Nant2 best wishes for the outside tree I have had my outside lights up for a week now they are on a timer and come on between 4pm-9pm they are on a battery which lasted 3 weeks last time which saves a lot on energy.

On Saturday morning I am off to a Farmers Market in West Kirby for one of the last markets of the year,I get some small cheeses when I go there they have a fab selection on the stall and you can have a tasting session before you buy which I must say is very enjoyable,its where I buy my smoked haddock which is very good it comes down from Scotland according to the chap who sells it I'm just hoping he has some available as I haven't had some for quite a while,so fingers crossed.

Off now to do a quick tidy before going to shops and back for a day indoors to carry on wrapping gifts and delivering cards to neighbours.

Glamma, Oliver knows where he wants to be when its as cold as this! I love all forms of pears as well.

I have decided to miss my aquafit class. My back and hip are still quite painful and it is few minutes walk between parking the car and the building, as well as the class. It's minus 2 and very frosty, so I will stay inside!
I will wrap presents after breakfast.

I’ve had a busy morning so far,
Gave the bedrooms a good clean and dusted all around the ceilings , B hoovered for me then I cleaned the bathroom .
Dusted down the stairs hall and landing and my usual clean downstairs ,

Ive killed all the germs on the door handles and light switches with Dettol spray
Brought the dogs bed out as he will be here soon and now I’m having 5 minutes to myself and a cup of tea 😁

I like smoked haddock too we go to the fish quay in Sunderland every few month ,it’s straight off the boat and they smoke it on site ,I also get lovely cod there but the prices are going up rapidly .
Oliver has the right idea have a pee and straight back into the warm 😁

I was cold in the night, had to keep turning the electric blanket on, I really need one that stays on. I still have a large bed so the empty half was very cold. I need a bed mate, any offers. We haven’t had any more snow so I will be venturing out to /Waitrose later.

Oma, so pleased that Storm is back to his old self.

Glamm, Enjoy your festive meal. Oliver will be crossing his legs today. I hope you will be able to see your GD over Christmas.

All cards done, presents wrapped and tree up so bring it on. I am not usually this early but as I have been confined to the house, it filled the time. I have yet to finish my, 3 years in the making, Christmas table runner.

Oma, it is turning over in bed that is painful at the moment. I have to try to do it avoiding certain muscles! I'm glad Storm is better .

Plant I was cold too and had to pull the fleece we keep folded on the end of the bed up over the duvet. It will be nice and festive in your house then

Hallo everyone, it is still cold, I walk to the gym early morning, well wrapped up then I have been to the library etc on the bike, the worst part of that was the low sun! It is blinding. It was minus 5 early morning.

Gem, can't you get to a physio for your back? I felt my muscles in bed after the bitter cold swim, the ones that were above water, I was talking to the young man at the gym and he was saying he has it with football, if they sit waiting, well wrapped up, then have to play again he said you certainly feel the muscles.

I am OK in bed if I get warm, it is just the cold feet at times.

I used to love smoked haddock, we get other smoked fish here, I do like that as well.

Lizzie my back problems are mainly related to my knee arthritis. I walk badly to compensate for the knee pain. I am trying to get another knee injection.

I'm glad you got the lights done Nan2.

I got most of the present wrapping done, and made a flyer to print to give GS2 for Christmas to tell him about the show we are going to see together which is his main present from us.

Good morning ladies. I've just been to the post office,so thats my errands done for today.
Staying in for the rest of the day where its warm.

Our day for MIL and it’s starting to snow again ,
She hates these long dark days and we get all the moans about it,
nothing we an do or say cheers her up so we just listen and nod ,
I understand as she isn’t going out or got anything to do it must be boring , we have tried getting her to go to different gatherings at the church hall or starting her knitting up even online jigsaws but she won’t do any of them ,
Im at a loss well we all are what to try next .

B got pain management appointment at 2 at our local primary health care next to our Shopping Mall so I will go do a bit shopping in Asda while he is in there ,
