Oma, brilliant new that your heart is fine. Phew!
You are obviously relieved but puzzled as to what's causing the problem.
I'm sure they will get to the bottom of it, and you may relax more now and find it gets a bit easier anyway.

You are running a plant swap Lizzie!

We had to pop to B&Q this afternoon so took GS1 with us. Who knew what a success that would be! The perfect place for all our family to go in a zombie apocalypse apparently 🧟 He toured the whole building and outdoor area exclaiming on the suitability of everything

I’m now wondering if it could be iron deficiency again as B looked it up and the symptom are alike plus my hair is thinning again
I rang to try get appointment with Dr said there is a 4 week waiting list for all 4Drs 😱

      Gem
Well GS would know how to save you al, in the event of a Zombie Apocalypse 🤣😀
That boy is brilliant the things he thinks of , made me chuckle😁

      Lizzie
Nice you can swap plants that way you get a good variety , are they indoor or outdoor plants ?

SIL has just been , we too went to B&Q and bought one of those big plastic like outdoor low storage shed things
It will go under the utility toilet window so we can store some tools and garden furniture in .
It was too big for the car so SIL picked it up in the van for us .

Its absolutely pouring down here and gone very dark

Oma, good news it isn't your heart causing the problem.
We had about 4 spots of rain about 4ish.
We've got one of those storage things,it lives behind the garage.

I got the grass cut this morning before hubby got home.
We have got some bluebells in the garden. I said i would like some whitebells and pinkbells to go with them.
Last week hubby's pal gave him some whitebells from his garden, which were duly planted.
Sis in law wanted some, so he gave hubby some more today. We took them down to their house, had a cuppa and a natter.
They already had some bluebells, and like us they would like some pink ones.
The pink ones are harder to come by, but i'm sure we will get some eventually.

Oma, that is such brilliant news, and I'm over the moon that the doctor was so adamant you're a bit of a fraud! xxx I hope they can soon find what the problem is though, and perhaps B is right and you need to eat lots more spinach, kale and liver for the iron.

Gem, your GS1 is a super star. I'd have loved to be with him when he was going round the garden centre.

We've had a really long hard day on the garden, trying to get everything planted and all the other jobs done before we go away on Saturday. We came in when it got dark and I made dinner. Now I have to go and portion up 6 kg of dog food I've defrosted. I think I'll sleep well tonight! We're out nearly all day tomorrow as well. On Thursday I'm having my hair cut in the morning and will probably have visitors for dinner, but I'm trying to keep Friday clear to get ready for Saturday.

I think you will indeed sleep well tonight Daisy!

I have never seen the pink bluebells Nan2. They sound pretty. I had so many bluebells in my previous garden and none here. I must plant some!

Those storage units are very useful Oma.

GS was so enthusiastic in B&Q!
He discovered many weapons for us to fight off the zombies, ways to protect and make ourselves comfortable, and even worked out that with paint and brushes and wallpaper we could teach baby E to read and write

              Last out, first in!
              Good morning everyone.

Aquafit this morning. Neither of my friends are going this week, so no coffee stop today. OH and I are going to walk into the village and get lunch. I haven't browsed the charity shop for a while, so I want to have a look in there.

              Have a good day ladies.

Good Wednesday morning, everyone. It's nice and sunny here, and hopefully it will warm up a little.

Gem, you are an early bird today. It sounds like a nice, pleasant day for you and OH. Have fun, and hopefully find some bargains in the charity shop.

Another busy day for us, but nice. We're going out for coffee and lunch - OH's pensioners' group. Then shopping on the way back - the big garden centre Enfys knows, and Lakeland, which is next door. We'll drop Eva off at DS2's on the way to coffee and pick her up after we've done the shopping. I'm hoping I will know who (if anyone) is coming for dinner tomorrow night. It's a friend's birthday and arrangements have got very confused. If I know before we go out I can pop into Sainsbury's and get a few bits and pieces. I don't want to overbuy with going away on Saturday.

                Have a good day everyone.

Sunny here too, hope it lasts. Those of you wanting pink and white bluebells, I have loads. I don’t want them really as they take over from the true bluebell and are beginning to encroach in bluebell woods. I could send you some bulbs when the flowers die down if you send me your addresses on Yeo.
Games afternoon later for me but bathroom and kitchen floor to wash this morning.

Daisy, enjoy your coffee and lunch out. Are you going to look for something special in the garden centre and Lakeland.

Gemini, so pleased you are sounding a bit brighter. Doesn’t seem possible you have had to book your panto tickets already.

                      Morning ladies
                      a nice morning.
Late night last night , MIL taken into Hospital with suspected pneumonia at about 11.30
Bs sister went with her she rang at just after 1 to say still waiting to see a Dr so no point waiting up she would ring when had any news .

Shes just rang to say they had put her on a nebuliser and if her oxygen levels stay the same she can come back home so doesn’t sound like pneumonia.

B will pick her up if she can , we are going to IKEA first so she will have to wait but I can’t see the Dr going in early so we will be there and back before then .

                      Gem

Good Morning Ladies,Such good news Oma they will find out the problem for you it must be a huge relief its not your heart.
I have one of those storage units outside my bathroom window which stores my green wheelie bin I hate having bins on show I store my gardening tools in there as well as,I remember my John putting it together when we first moved here nearly 7 yrs ago the guy said it was easy to put together (wrong) the air was blue to say the least but he got there in the end bless him x

DD is coming over this afternoon she is going with her brother to sign for apartment he has not been accepted as yet all applications have to go to the landlord and he/she will make the decision once the landlord has read all the applications so fingers crossed for him.

No news from next door about Jim his niece has not been around this week I'm thinking no news is good news.

I have a lot of ironing to get through over the next few days all white's mainly my summer jeans and t-shirts lets hope we manage to get a good Summer.

DDs friend has a small house out in Alicante and she has offered it to me and my pal for September which is really good of her when we looked at the price of flights we where so shocked at the cost of flight only they are so expensive even if we booked now luggage and with transfers on top we would be better booking a holiday with a Company doing flight & accommodation together so that idea has gone on the back boiler for the time being.

Must dash now and get sorted for DD this afternoon she is always early and desperate for a cup of tea when she gets here.

Catch up soon x glamma x

Glamma, flights are so expensive this year. We had planned to go to Spain this summer but are going to Portugal as those flights were quite a bit cheaper.

I hope MIL is OK Oma.

Plant, I would love some bulbs!

Aquafit was good. Quite vigorous. Our instructor has just got back from 2 weeks in Gran Canaria ( very brown legs in her shorts!) I think she wanted to work herself hard after the break

We had lunch in the village, visited the charity shop. No rare undiscovered valuable items, but OH got a substantial stapler with staples for £1 and I got a nice enameled bangle for 50p. We popped into Sainsbury's for a couple of things and now we are sitting in the garden with a cuppa.

good luck to you DS hope he gets the flat .
Shocking the price of flights , I know a few people with families that are not taking holidays abroad this year ,
My neighbour said her DS and family have decided they will have a week of surprise days , that they can drive to like theme parks ,beach days , even Edinburgh Zoo ,
The children are really excited as they won’t know till the day where they are going 😁

                              Gem
sounds a nice leisurely day for you both , did you enjoy lunch xx

Latest on MIL is it doesn’t sound like Pneumonia but until Dr has been around we won’t know ,
SIL popped in to see her this morning, she was complaining she was bored,
The Breakfast was crap , Tea was cold ,Cornflakes were soggy , Toast not the way she likes it .

They came around with the lunch menu while SIL was there and MIL complained about that but chose something eventually .
SIL said she felt embarrassed the way she went on .

Told Drs she only has 3 cigarettes a day so SIL put them straight about how she is almost a chain smoker ,
Shes 89 they not going to tell her to stop now so why lie about it .

We went to IKEA for napkins this morning and I bought a little vase for when I have just a small bunch of flowers ,
I have 3 other vases but all on the large size ,
Bough a few more glass tumblers as I have dropped and broke about 4 in the last few weeks ,

Wasnt in long I didn’t want To go to any other dept .

From there I went to Superdrug , bought two hair dyes , they were £9.99 or two for £14 so bought the two ,
Some Neutrogena foot balm and Double base cream .

Thought I may as well get what I wanted all in one go rather than go back maybe next week .

Ive done the very small amount of ironing that was there , not worth putting ironing board up really but it’s done .
Im now having a sit down and a cup of tea 😁
