Gem - I do hope DD3 finally get appropriate treatment. How sad that she has had to have a private consultation rather than just being able to go to her GP or midwife. I'm sure everything is harder for Dd and baby E in this hot weather.

It's ridiculous that DD has had to go private.Hope there is some improvement soon.
Exchanged contracts this morning for mam and dad's house. The new owners are moving in as I type. Very sad 😔 to know the house is no longer mam and dad's. The new owners lived on the same street as GD1, and she saw the removal men there. GD been and had dinner with us. Feel cheerier after seeing little Tommie.
A couple of up to date photos.

Awww, precious little boy Nan2 💙 Who wouldn't be cheered up by seeing him!?
I know it's sad about the house, but at least it is done now. All the delays and setbacks selling my mum's house made it even sadder.
DD is now on different antibiotics. If these don't work it's IV ones. Let's hope they do.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning everyone.
Sainsbury's delivery this morning. I am due to visit my mum this afternoon. I may be going to DD3's instead, in which case I will see mum tomorrow. Not sure what is going on yet.
Keep cool and enjoy the good weather if you can!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Just checking in, I am not up to scratch, I have diverticulitis, I had it many years ago so realised what it was, the problem was made worse by the fact I had an early appt at the hospital yesterday and it upset my morning routine. When we got to the hospital the clinic had been cancelled the day before and they had sent me a text, I don’t do text. Doctor has prescribed some sort of mixture, I hope I get some relief from the pain today.
Gemini, so sorry your DD still has a problem and has had to go private to get it sorted, you must be worried for her.
Daisy, poor Eva not getting her fun with the hosepipe. We don’t have a ban yet.
Oma, that was an amazing sleep, must have done you good.
Nanto, what a sweet little chap.
Lizzie, that must have been frightening for you. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good sunny Thursday morning everyone. My weather app is suggesting 31C later today and it's already too warm to walk Eva. I must get up earlier!!
Definitely no plans for us today.
Gem - I do hope your DD's new antibiotics are working. Poor girl, she must be fed up. I'm sure she'd love to see you.
Oma - Eva follows the shade round the garden in this weather. I can imagine how hot it must seem to Storm.
Nanto - little T is beautiful, and isn't he growing fast! Babyhood slips by so quickly, although if mummy and daddy don't get much sleep the might not agree! It must seem like the final end of an era with new people moving into your in-law's house. But I imagine the new residents are excited and happy, starting a new phase of their lives. Treasure your happy memories - sending hugs.

It is just too hot ,
Went to Dentist , I have to have a Wisdom tooth out in September in the mean time a course of antibiotics ,
She took a X-ray and infection is just starting at the root so went at the right time .
GS1 been for lunch he’s having some friends around tonight so he has gone to Sainsburys to get Crisps etc now
Dog is asleep in Garden in the shade ,
Last night he was a bad boy , trying to get to next doors cats and couldn’t get to the fence as I had put a eucalyptus tree in the boarder against the fence ,
He decided it was in the way so pulled it out and broke a few branches 😡
Its only a small boarder one so B has replanted it and we are hoping it hasn’t been too damaged .
He was told off and brought in so he sulked for a while 😁
Plant
my FIL and Brother both suffered from that , it’s awful and painful too
I hope it settles down soon you must be so uncomfortable and this heat won’t be helping .
A shame you didn’t see the text you could have saved a journey .
Gem
did you go to DD how are they all xx
Daisy
far too hot for walks even in the shade ,
Lizzie
I hope the moon didn’t scare you again last night 😁🌕🌖
Nanto
It must be sad seeing new people in in-laws house , it’s the final link isn’t it .xxx

Hallo everyone, it is soon hot! I went to Delft market early for some material, cheese etc and was pleased to be home. I have just got a pattern made for a top and will get it cut out. This is a trial one. I have got material with flowers on, at my age!
Oma, That was very naughty of Storm, did you put him in the corner????? Oma, I closed the curtains again so the moon couldn't get in.
Plant, I have never heard of it so had to Google it, it sounds painful so I hope you are soon feeling better.
I met a young man from the gym at the Lidl, he has been on holiday so hasn't been for a few weeks, he is such a polite young man, then again, most of them are. He asked what my holiday in England was like, nice of him to remember.

Plant - our posts crossed. I'm so sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. I guess diverticulitis is very painful - my doctor thought I had it many years ago, and I can remember the pain! (I realised eventually it was because I'd taken Advil for back pain when I was in American without realising it contained ibuprofen.) It's awful that so many organisation now just assume everyone has smart phones, uses messaging/WhatsAp/email etc. You must have been very fed up having a wasted journey, to say nothing of upsetting your morning routine.
Lizzie - you're always busy. Fancy choosing floral material! What kind of top are you making? The members at your gym all sound very friendly.
Oma - naughty Storm, but when you need to get to a cat you can't let a little thing like a tree get in your way!
Gem - how is DD3?
I did a bit of housework this morning - just gentle dusting (much needed) and washed the bedding. It's too hot for anything else - 32 in our garden a few minutes ago.
