Went to MILs she was quite pleasant today made a change ,
we stayed a little longer as she wasn’t moaning or nasty .

Came home popped to Aldi and Sainsburys ,
Hadnt been home long and GS1 came we have seen him every day this week , he is coming again on Sunday with his girlfriend .
it’s dull but rather stuffy

Baby has gained two ounces since yesterday, so that's a positive.

Mum was very happy about the new baby. She talked a lot - in fact I struggled to get away!
About the past, all sorts of things, sometimes muddled up but it made her happy. A contrast to last week when I couldn't get any conversation started. I have to remember to take it day by day, as she can vary so much.

GD and GS2 today. We have nothing planned so will see how the day goes. At 6 and nearly 13 the age gap seems to have widened so it's not so easy finding outings for both! It's quite good when we have GS1, aged 9, as well as he sort of bridges the gap.

DD1 is going over to DD3's today.

I remember when my two were young and a 8 year age gap things were either too young for DD or too old for DS ,

B has his Liver and Kidney scan this morning his yearly round of tests ,
Asthma yesterday this today and his heart one will be coming around soon ,
Im ringing Dentist today I should have been there a fortnight ago but got thrush in my mouth so had to cancel ,

We have sunshine at the moment, not sure what the forecast is. I think the plan today is a get-together with GD1 and baby H., not sure what we shall find to do. I did some gardening yesterday but I was too tired and hot to do the clearing up so I must take the bin around and clear up. Watched the opening of the Commonwealth Games last evening, Birmingham did a fantastic job.

Gemini, lovely for you to find your mum in a chatty mood. Pleased to hear that baby is settled now and your DD and Sil can enjoy being a family.

Oma, I hope B’s Liver and Kidney scan goes well, they are keeping an eye on him. I hope you get an appt. With the dentist quite soon, they are not as bad as getting a doctors appt. I have just got an appt for 1st Sept. with my doctor to see her once again about my psoriasis. How is the sleeping?

his scan went off fine now just wait for results ,

I managed to get a dentist appointment for the 11th so not too long ,
However now our Drs you must ring at 8.30 each morning to try to get a slot they are not taking booking now ,

Its impossible to get through and what if you can’t go that day and need one for another day if your working etc ?
it’s getting worse ,

Sleep is up and down some nights no sleep at all then I will get a good 5/6 hours 🙄

What did you decide to do with GD and baby H ?
Is your psoriasis no better ?
My DS gets it on his elbows but sunshine helps his .

When I was ill, my OH managed to get me a phone appointment one week and an appointment at the surgery the next. She only managed this by going down to the surgery in person early each time and telling them how ill I was . I think I would still be waiting now otherwise to be honest.

Hallo everyone, it has been a busy day here! The young men were busy in the garage most of the morning, they are from Servia and only one of them can speak a little English, I must say they are all very good workers, tidy and very polite. It won't be fixed up here until Monday as the man from one of the other garages can't get here until Monday.

It is lovely weather so I went for a bike ride this afternoon, I enjoyed it as well.

I still think it is very strange not being able to get in touch with the doctor Oma,! Unlike you, I slept like a log last night, almost 10 hours!

Gem, I hope you coped with the GC, it is difficult with such an age difference. What interests one won't interest the other.
My friends daughter and family have been in Scotland for 3 weeks, I got a message from them that they arrive in York this afternoon, I told them it was well worth the visit!!!

I hope you enjoy your meal Nanto. I know I certainly did whilst I was in the UK.

I am cooking beetroot for tomorrow, I want to go for blackberries early in the morning, there are soooooo many now, I cycle along looking at them!

Oma, My GD, H and I went to a model village, it is quite a famous one, people come for miles but it was very hot and H got a bit tired and hot. The model village is very close to Waitrose so we went in there, cooled off and did some shopping. I am now getting cooled off and watering the border. The psoriasis is still bad and in the hot weather it gets very itchy. It is all over my body, I am sure there is something they could do. I wondered how much it would cost to go private but investments are a bit dodgy atm.

Evening All.
It’s been a funny old week.
My friend with whom I shared a flat in the sixties came for an overnight visit with her husband. It was great to see them. That was the best bit. Today I had the stitch in my face out after a biopsy last week. That was sore. Then I went to the hospital for a transfusion of something or other for osteoporosis (2nd of 3 over 3years). As usual the nurse couldn’t get the cannula in to a vein. 2 nurses and an arm and hand like a sieve later it was decided to call for ‘Emma’. Emma must have been sent from Heaven above! Very gentle and successful first go. Next time I will ask for Emma first. The other nurses said how glad they were they wouldn’t see me for another year! Nice…🙄
We had a visit from DD2 and boys this afternoon which cheered me up no end. Why do children love sellotape so much? They got out the ‘making boxes’ and now I have no sellotape left!
Busy weekend here, all nice things though. Have a good weekend ladies.

Not going out this morning. Postman picking a package up,that is going back to Amazon.
In fact i don't think i'm going to the supermarket at all.
We've got plenty of food in the fridge,freezers and cupboards.
