Good morning everyone.
Nan2, dinner sounds yummy.
They kept DD and baby in hospital overnight. His jaundice levels were fine but he was a bit dehydrated so they want to check that again this morning.
She had a room to herself which was much cooler and quieter than on the maternity unit, so she was hoping for some sleep. Fingers crossed they are going home this morning.
I'm free all day apart from my morning aqua class, so will wait and see if they want me to go over.βA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.β β Unknown

as long as they are ok a night in hospital is better than struggling at home ,
It is a good idea topping up with a bottle as baby might not be latching on well it just needs time ,
hopefully they got some well deserved sleep , did SIL go home ?

im not a lover of fresh beetroot I like it pickled ,
I remember when we were first married the man next door gave me some fresh beetroot and told me how to cook it , my goodness the mess I made I didnβt know you. Had to leave a bit stalk and the bottoms on , I chopped them off and it bled my hands were purple red for days π needless to say I never did them again π
We have Storm today , as I type he is racing from one side of the shed to the other trying to catch the squirrel that is sitting on the roof of the shed ignoring him silly dog .
Not a bad morning washing out so will iron that later
Have a good day ladies xx

Gemini, so pleased that your DD3 had some help and advice for the feeding and sleeping problem. Good job your other DD spoke up for them, she is more experienced. I hope that now they can settle into a routine and enjoy their bundle of joy.
Oma, I think my GS4 is 23, he is just as charming, I do hope this flat share comes off for him, he needs to leave home. He and his younger brother are not a bit alike, he has a bicycle repair business he is building up and he is very dark. He too still lives at home with his partner so a very crowded house. He is the one I go to to sort out any mechanical problems with my car. Enjoy your day with Storm, I am sure the squirrels deliberately annoy him.
I woke up very late today so I am all behind this morning. I am going up to the pond later to feed the ducks and sit by the pond, it feels so quiet here with the family away and where I live I donβt see anyone unless I go out. I am in the middle of making a dolls cot mattress and quilt cover, someone gave the GDβs a small cot but it didnβt have any bedding. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning everyone, I love fresh beetroot as a veg, by the way Oma, I put plastic bags over my hands when I am cleaning it, I don't think we see it pickled here.
There was one heavy shower this morning as I left the gym to go to the market, I was soaked, I almost fell off my bike as well,, rode over a drain and with it being wet it was very slippy, my front wheel went all over the place so I won't be doing that again!
Gem, I hope the feeding goes well now for the baby.
Plant, I hope the flat share goes through for GS3, they need somewhere at that age.
I have just found a lovely card for DB2 and his wife for having me for a few days, but, oh dear, the price of the stamps at the moment!!! Never mind, they are worth it!!
Poor Storm Oma, he will think he can catch the squirrel

Oma, my sister in laws dog is always chasing squirrels, and he catches quite a few.
Had a visit from our nephew this morning,he stayed about an hour.
Weather has warmed up a bit now.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good morning Nan2.
Wet and miserable start to the day here too.
Daisy I hope you had a good night's sleep. How is it all going with your visitors?
Yesterday I went to aqua aerobics in the morning and to the cafe there afterwards with my two friends.
I won't repeat myself here as all the details are on a new thread on the Grandchildren section. GS3 came to Grandma's for the first time π
This morning I am having reflexology, for the first time in a long time. I cancelled when I was ill.
This afternoon I am going to see my mum.
Have a good day everyone.βA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.β β Unknown

Slightly sunny here atm, not sure what the forecast is. I have a friend coming for coffee this morning, nothing else planned. Probably gardening later. I am still not able, or rather donβt know how to post pics on here, it seems to be something about the size.
Gemini, lovely to hear you are back to Aqua. Enjoy your reflexology. I hope you find your mum well.
Oma, hope Mil is in a happy mood today. Thanks for the update on our dear friend Tizzy.
Nanto, another great graphic. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning, everyone. It's still hectic here, and I'm now being called for breakfast! (OH has got it ready while I tried to do other jobs.)
No plans yet for today, but I've walked Eva and she's tired after her day with Missy yesterday.
My beautiful, amazing GS1 is 19 today - how on earth did that happen!!"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "
