I haven’t done another test today yet, I gather it doesn’t show positive for a couple of days. I sweated buckets early this morning after taking paracetamol. The family are keeping away, GD, her OH and H are off on holiday today, I hope I haven’t passed it to them. I have had all my vaccines plus one dose of Covid, they haven’t given me much protection.,
I think I shall go back to wearing a mask.

Oma, a lovely quiet morning, sitting in the garden before any traffic noise is a lovely way to start the day.

Daisy, welcome back, pleased you had a good time how was Eva?

Lizzie, good to hear you are feeling a bit better.

Gemini, enjoy your time with DD3, I hope it will not be long before that baby puts in an appearance.

we have never stopped wearing our masks , even when they said we didn’t need too .
hope the weather stays good for GD and family .

Itstoo hot to be in the garden at the moment it’s cooler in our sitting room ,not by much but every little helps .
GS1 has asked for Macaroni cheese for tea he will arrive about 3.30 , no doubt he will want a shower to cool down first

It’s so quiet I think everyone must be hiding from the sun .

We are NEVER bored by baby photos Nan2

Lizzie, good to hear you are feeling bit better.

                Poor Plant, take care xx

It is hard to keep cool Oma isn't it?
DD3 went for nap upstairs but came back outside as it was too hot. We have lots of shade and drank cool drinks all day but it was very hot.

It was lovely to spend the day with DD. She looks well, but is hot, tired and finding it hard to get comfortable.
SIL and I like the 15th as a birthdate, DD says she will do her best to oblige Apparently DD2 was very disappointed baby didn't arrive on her birthday!
I am so much better, and almost eating normally. Still SO tired though.

Gem - I do hope the baby arrives soon! Your poor DD3 must be feeling the heat so much.

Plant - I do hope you feel better soon. Eva loved her holiday and was mostly very good - she got a bit overexcited when our friends and Missy arrived though!

Oma - poor you - this weather really isn't helping, is it. How is Storm coping with it?

Nanto - keep the photos coming. We never, ever tire of them, and he's such a beautiful baby. xx I hope your new computer is just what you wanted.

I've done loads of washing today, and of course it all dried very quickly. but I now have a mountain of ironing which will not be touched while it's this hot! OH has an eye injection tomorrow afternoon - I'm not looking forward to hanging round a baking hot car park for a couple of hours, but then, poor OH isn't looking forward to having the injection either.

Good morning everyone, I am still positive, it does seem fainter if that is possible. I was sat here at 4am, I hardly slept worrying about the fridge being fitted, I can't expect anyone coming whilst I am positive, so, had a look on YouTube, low and behold the lovely young man explained everything to me, my fridge is now installed and working, I was worried about how I would cope if it gets warmer this week. I do need someone to do the door for me but there is no hurry, it is working and that is what I needed.

The new computer is very good. Pleased with it.

Going to be a hot one again.

Asda shopping coming between 9 and 10.
                      Jacket potatoes for dinner today.

                        Morning ladies

                        Lizzie
Isnt Mr YouTube amazing you can always find the right advice 😁 glad the positive line is getting fainter , it’s going in the right direction 😁

                        Nanto
we had Jackets the other night I bought the extra special ones from Aldi nice and waxy and so creamy inside ,
Sometimes you get them and no matter what they not as soft or creamy , we really enjoyed them .

                        Plant
How are you today did you do a test ?

                        Daisy
Thats the downside of washing all the ironing ,
Storm is hating the heat he’s been laying in the cupboard under the stairs , DD said it’s the only cool place in the house for him

                        Gem
Hope DD has this baby soon she will be uncomfortable and sleeping will be difficult

Another stuffy night with little sleep .
I was up at silly o’clock so all my cleaning done then I did the ironing before it gets too hot ,

Know idea what we doing today or what to do for tea tonight , we may go to the beach and have fish and chips unless it gets unbearably hot again then I’m joining the dog in the cupboard under the stairs 😁

Yes Oma, amazing, he told me exactly what I had to do!! Easier than following the instructions.

Neighbour is going to the Lidl for me, and, I have just read on the site from the ministry of health that if I have none of the symptoms from the list, coughing etc, I can go out on day 5 if I avoid the crowds, so, all being well I can do my own shopping at 7am tomorrow morning.

Good morning everyone. The temp is forecast to go up to 27C this afternoon while we are at the hospital.

Lizzie - I meant to say yesterday how are you. I'm still in holiday mode, but pleased to see you're on the mend and equally important in this weather, your fridge is up and running. Well done on doing it yourself.

Plant - I hope you managed a good night and are feeling better, too.

When I had it the red line went fainter for 3 days.

Oma - at least you got your cleaning done in the cool. A trip to the sea would be refreshing. We found that last week - a bit of a breeze took the heat out of the sun, but it will still pleasant. Poor Storm, I was wondering how he was coping. Has he got a cool mat?

Nanto - how lovely, having a new computer and enjoying using it. I hope you've been able to have some lovely cuddles with your GGS. xx

Enfys - I'm sure you are enjoying having your DS and family here - I saw some lovely photos on Facebook. Your GS looks so grown up!

Good morning. Another hot day here…..I don’t like the heat , used to but not now. Having a lovely time with my visitors, lots of eating out and plenty of chat and laughter, a real tonic.

Today they are spending time with her parents so I am going to my craft group. Will be nice to see everyone again and have a good catch up.

Haven’t had chance to read back but I hope anyone who has been poorly is feeling better and the new babies are doing well.

Off now to pack my bag, imthinkmthere will be more chat than knitting in this heat 😎

                                Good morning dear ladies.
It's very dull here! Forecast to be hot nonetheless.

Enfys, it's so good to read about your time with family.

I'm glad you are feeling better Lizzie, but do take it easy and accept all help offered xx

Nan2, baked potatoes have been one of the foods I have relied on when eating was difficult. I think we are having them today, with salmon and veg.

I hope you can keep cool today Oma.

I hope OH's appointment goes well Daisy and you are not kept waiting in the heat too long.

                                How are you today Plant?

OH is playing golf today, she has already left. I am looking after GS1 after school and taking him to martial arts class. DD will collect him from school and drop him here. I was unsure about the walk between where I park and school, so she is doing that. Having him here and driving him to MA will be fine.

They are talking about flying ants on TV. I hope we don't get any!
