Phoned Clare early today Fin is fine she’s doing ok but now Martin has tested positive , woke this morning with sore throat and feeling yuk so took a test ,
Cant get a break bless them .

Its so hot isn’t it , my niece went to the beach this morning couldn’t get parked up she said the crowds were ridiculous
She came back home and went for a walk in the park instead but said even there was crowded .

Spoke to GD1 earlier. Up to 2 hours before he was born,doctor told her he was still underweight.
Apparantely everyone was surprised at how big he was. She's hoping to go home today.

We bought a new computer this morning. Still on the old though.
There are a lot of photos on here hubby wants to sort out.
So, that will be his evening sorted.

I have had a lovely day in the garden. I have a very comfortable sun lounger and we have parasols, so its easy to be comfy and out of the direct sun.
I also made pot of soup this morning (had to have sit down after though!) This afternoon while OH was out (walking round the golf course with two new members) I did some painting in the conservatory, I made a thank you card for OH for looking after me so well for so long. I had lot of blue paint left on my pallete so I painted some blue daisies as well just for fun!

I think I am going down with the dreaded Covid, not feeling great. Test still negative but we shall see in the morning. I have isolated myself from the family just in case.

Good evening everyone. We are safely back home, with the caravan emptied and cleaned!

I've been trying to get online for a couple of hours but it's a struggle. I'll be so glad when we get our fibre connection!

Hopefully I can catch up tomorrow (t'internet willing), but love to all the poorly ones and congratulations for Nanto on the arrival of her gorgeous not-so-little GreatGrandson. xx

Good morning. Hot again. Didn't get the new computer set up yesterday. We had visitors and later in the day we went down and had a couple of hours with BIL & SIL. Hope all those under the weather feel better soon. Welcome home Daisy.

Today DD3 is coming over. They have a midwife appointment this morning then SIL is going into work for a few hours and will drop DD off here.
It will be lovely to have her company. We will be shade bathing in the garden
I made vegetable soup yesterday and have a crusty baguette on this morning's Sainsbury's order, so that's lunch sorted, with some cheese maybe.

Martin feeling rough but Clare isn’t so bad ,

Horrible night last night I was up and down it was so warm had all the bedroom windows and bathroom window open and the doors but no breeze was coming through ,

Eventually at 4.15 I came down and sat in the garden , the smell from my Jasmine plant was lovely it was light and the birds were chirping , no traffic noise it was so peaceful .

Good morning, I am feeling a little better thanks, the temperature isn't as high as it was, I am still very tired though!

It isn't warm here, 22 degrees today and dull at the moment.

I have phoned the hospital, I had an appointment for the pre-op examinations on Wednesday, got a new appointment for next week now.

Good morning everyone. It is already 23C here, and climbing. The gremlins are still at work on my computer so I'm going to try and banish them. It's so frustrating when I want to chat to everyone, but there seems to be a browser problem and it's driving me mad!
