Nanto - it's sunny here as well, and no rain forecast for once!

We're going to DS1 and DIL's for the day - just a lazy day doing nothing much, but it will be lovely to see them and the boys.

I hope evryone has a happy, peaceful Sunday. xx

        Good morning ladies.

        I like the Sunday/sundae graphic Nan2

I hope you have lovely day Daisy.

I'm glad the glasses are a success Lizzie. I scratched one of my lenses in Florida and need to get that replaced.

Did you get a cuddle with the new baby Oma.?

It was a lovely relaxed family day here yesterday. We spent more time outside than in. A brief non forecasted shower drove us all inside for while. Later we came back inside as we were all getting chilly.
DD1 wanted Prosecco so ended up leaving the car, and she and GS1 walked home, around 6, the others left at 7ish. The baby amused us by seeming to adopt a square looking shape in DD3s tummy for lot of the time
DD and GS will arrive back for their car at some time today. They and we want to see a local garden which has been opened to the public for a few hours a day during summer to raise money for charity. It has a fabulous lake and is totally hidden from view from the road.
Tonight is my birthday meal out with friends. An Italian restaurant in York which used to be a girls school.

        Have a good day everyone.

Good morning. I’ve been having trouble getting on here this week, finally managed it now but it took two attempts to log in!

It’s been a funny old week here, very up and down but only 3 more weeks before DS and family are here!

Congratulation on the new baby Oma, he’s gorgeous, sorry to be late but as I’ve said I’ve had problems. Enjoy lots of cuddles.

I really enjoyed all the Jubilee celebrations, we went to a Picnic in the park at our local park so just a short walk away. It was very good, and well supported.

I need to go and read back and see what everyone’s been up to, hope I manage to get back on OK. Have a good weekend everyone. 😀

Good Morning everyone,a really lovely day today the sun has been shining through the windows since 5.30am and the baby birds are certainly enjoying the light mornings.

Today I am off to DDs and her partners house for lunch and to meet my No4 DGSs girlfriend for the first time she has a little boy (3yrs) so I have bought him a little set of gardening tools he can dig and plant in their garden it will break the ice with him I hope, I am also meeting DGDs boyfriend for the first time he must be something special as she usually keeps boyfriends underwraps it may cause some confusion as he is called Luke the same name as No5 DGS just thinking if I ask to pass the gravy will they both jump to pass it

Oma I am now almost finished sorting what I am taking with me at long last its such a long time since I have been away and I have forgotten what I have they where all in different suitcases I'm sure there is on in the loft but I am even going to look for that at the Hotel we are staying there is a Rastro Shop (Charity) quite near and when we are packing to come home we always take anything we think we won't use again to them they raise money for Vet treatment for mistreated horses and donkey's so a really good cause.

Daisy the Stones concert went down very well according to Local Radio reports Echo and The Bunnymen where the supporting act so another popular Liverpool band,Nial Rogers played at the same venue the next night so a really good few days for Liverpool tourism shops & hotels. Some naughty people selling Stones tickets for way over ticket price but you will get that anywhere I think if people are daft enough to pay it.

I'm just putting the finish to Jims dinner he will be having an early delivery today with me going out at 1pm just got to make sure he takes the foil off before he microwaves it later on at tea time.

Off now for hair wash & shower and make myself presentable talk soon ladies xx

Sun is shining, but its a cool wind.

Jobs done. Salads are plated up and in the fridge. I will take them out about an hour before eating.
Just been out and cleaned the big bird feeding station. It's one we brought from Dads.

Enfys, I'm sure those 3 weeks cant go fast enough for you!

Glamma, that's a kind thought buying that present for the little boy, and making Jim's dinner even though you are going out for yours!

Sorry I am so late popping in, GD, H and I went to a Horses Trust for retired and rescue horses yesterday, I am allergic to horses and other animals so GD insisted I took an antihistamine, well the result of that is that I slept on and off in the evening and didn’t wake up until nearly 11.30 this morning. Will not be taking one of those again. GD and baby H next door for the day, GD OH is working.

Daisy, enjoy your day with GS1’s family.

Enfys, very exciting, it is only 3 weeks now before your family visit.

Glamm, you are so good a neighbour to Jim, he gets his dinner even though you are going out. I hope the family get-together goes well and you manage to sort the names out. Lovely idea to buy the 3year old a present.

Oma, baby cuddles day, love new babies. I hope Claire will be less sore today.

Plant there is one type of anti histamine that I can't take as it leaves me sleepy. They are the ones containing cetirizine hydrochloride. I take the ones containing Loratadine, which don't make me sleepy at all. I hope you enjoyed seeing the horses though!

We met up with DD and GS1 earlier and had a walk around the lovely big rambling garden and woods and the lake. The elderly owner is raising money for Ukraine with a collection box. He has raised £2.500 so far!!
