I am here Daisy, just a bit late. I am expecting someone around 11am, they are coming to give my washing machine a good clean. Baby H will be next door so I shall pop in there later. I want to load my car up with the re-cycling ready to take it to the tip. Went to a lovely birthday tea party yesterday, it was a friend’s birthday and we managed to be in the garden, the sun shone.

Gemini, enjoy your Aquafit, I am hoping to get back soon. How worrying and frustrating for your DD not having the completion date yet. I do hope it happens soon.

    I will pop back later

Daisy, I think DD is sleeping well, but her bump is so big and high I don't how she ever gets comfortable!

I hope you get back into the water soon Plant. I love my aqua sessions.

      Lizzie I love Clematis.

Our friends C and P just dropped my birthday card in. It's lucky they came before we went out so they had time for a quick cuppa.

Lovely day here after morning rain but still windy. Just been to the tip with all my paper and cardboard, quite busy. Called at garden centre, didn’t buy anything. Had my washing machine cleaned this morning, cost me £30, I don’t use it as much as a family so will not need a filter clean for a bit. I have a place at Aqua starting tomorrow week.

I have a problem with a squirrel eating my climbing roses, has anyone else experienced this?

No Plant, we do sometimes see squirrels in our garden but they are after the bird food. I wonder why they are interested in your climbing roses?!
Good news about your aqua classes.

Keep everything crossed for my DD and SIL3. it looks as though next Tuesday is moving day!

We had a nice chat and tea and biccies in our friends' garden this afternoon. Sunny but slightly breezy!

Admin, thank you for the ecard. Such a lovely surprise.

Gem, maybe the swimming did help DD a bit.
Hope DD gets to move on Tuesday.
Tea with friend in the garden sounds lovely.

Plant, good news about the aqua classes.

I was busier than i expected this morning,so todays menu was changed.
            We had scampi and salad.

Been quite warm today. Had a little shower about an hour ago.

Sunshine again this morning. Should be ok for getting the bedding dry, when i've changed it.

Just the usual kind of day for me.

Menu is homemade meat and veg pie with gravy. Took it out of the freezer last night.

Good morning, I have been on the bike to Delft and got the material I wanted, at last! I went straight from the gym and I was so early the poor man hadn't got his stall ready! There was a heavy shower going but it soon dried up and the sun is shining now.

Nanto,, enjoy your meal, it sounds good!

Oma, stay away from the archery!

I am going out for lunch with my neighbour, a birthday treat.

I am knitting again and luckily no pain or swollen fingers with DK, I think with the chunky that both the needles and the wool are too thick. I even got an audio book on the iPad last night and sat knitting whilst someone read me a book! I have never done it before but with my hands occupied whilst knitting I did enjoy it.

                      Good morning ladies.

                      Pretty graphic Nan2.

I hope B enjoys the archery Oma. I think your decision is wise!

Enjoy your belated birthday lunch Lizzie

The sun is shining. I think the forecast isn't too bad for the next few days.
Mr Sainsbury's is bringing a delivery this morning, and I am going to see my mum this afternoon.

                      Have a good day everyone.

Oma, probably wise to leave the arrows alone.

Good morning one and all. It's supposed to be dry here for most of the day - but it doesn't look very promising.

I'll catch up with everyone later - you've all been very busy.

I spent last night online organising party and table decorations etc for DS1's 50th later this month. I'm trying to organise as much as possible in advance. Mr Waitrose is bringing a load of goodies on the morning of the party, but I'll cook a couple of beef joints and sides of salmon. I'm making the cake myself but am still thinking about how to decorate it - something very simple! We're getting drinks and nibbles ordered this week in case anything is out of stock. There will be about 25-30 people, and I don't want them going hungry or thirsty!!

But if the rain holds off we're going to tackle the weeds this morning.

Lots to organise Daisy, I like to start early too. It is lovely and sunny here atm, hope it continues.

I am meeting two friends for lunch, I haven’t seen one of them since before lockdown, she has only just started to mix again. Sil is trying to find a person to cut the grass and hedges, it doesn’t look as if he will be back to doing those for a bit. He has had an MRI scan on his wrist and will not get the result for 2 weeks, then they will decide if they need to pin it. He is looking after H as her other GM is still in hospital. I don’t think that is how he planned his retirement but he loves her to bits. I caught that squirrel again eating my roses.

Gemini, I hope you find your mother well and happy, will you be able to get her out in the sunshine. Great news about the moving date for your DD and her OH, I hope that goes ahead.

Lizzie, You are such a busy lady, what is the material for, did I miss what you are going to make.

Oma, Archery definitely a no no for you, I hope B enjoys it. Are there activities you can join in. sorry you are still getting tired, I must say it did take a long time.

Gardener here measuring the hedges to be cut, he has a gorgeous dog with him.

Plant, the material is denim for a skirt, I like them for the summer.

I hope you get the hedges etc done. Enjoy the lunch.

Gem, DD3 will be able to relax a little more now with a date of moving.

Lizzie, DD2, our family organiser, is helping DD3 make plans to use us all as effectively as possible to help with the moving process

Enjoy lunch out Plant! No, I won't be outside with my mum. She much prefers to be in her room and even finds the stair lift somewhat stressful, so I see her in her room unless we are actually going out.

Daisy I'm sure it will be a lovely party
