    Good Morning everyone.
Another really good night with Henry he got himself cuddled up at 9ish and I never heard him until 7 this morning,my 2 DGSs came up yesterday to check the fencing as he could escape into next doors gardens both sides all now secure & safe for him.
Daisy Oliver has just ignored him totally when he came in for his food just looked at him as if to say who are you ? He is now sitting on the sofa in the warmth of the sun.I am going to keep his name the same as he answer's to it but would it be difficult to change it all.?

With being up nice and early I have the line full and drying in the sun and even had to water some plants that had dried a wee bit due to no rain in the past week.

Fabulous news on local radio this morning that the Rolling Stones are coming to Liverpool's Aintree Stadium to do a concert on 29th June this year such good news for Liverpool I would love to go but that day I am not flying home from Majorca until 7pm that day I am wondering what sort of crazy price they are asking for tickets.

Off now to do some chicken & rice for my young man and feed Oliver his tuna then later I am going to the shops to stock up on doggy treats,my youngest son is going to call in later to see Henry after being on a glamping getaway with their dog this past week.

Take care ladies enjoy the day xx glamma xx

      Good Monday morning from me.

Work has already started on our bannisters and we'll have to keep an eye on Eva as she could easily fall off the landing onto the stairs, especially if she was chasing a ball. It's too wet to garden still, so I'll have to paint!! Such a hardship.

Glamm - Henry has certainly settled in well - he sounds a little treasure. I bet the Stones concert tickets will sell out very fast but it would be fantastic to see them live - and great publicity for Liverpool.

Plant - perhaps the film will be more enjoyable than you think, and you'll enjoy spending time with GD1.

Lizzie - that bike is something else! How clever, and so useful for a lot of people I imagine. You've got the magic touch with olive trees. Do you get fruit on them? I'd also love to grow a fig tree in a large pot. I know they can be thugs in the ground, but I know some people manage to pot grow them. My in-laws had a very productive fig tree in their garden. It was laden with figs every year, which was amazing in North Wales.

Gem - enjoy your lunch with J and M.

Oma - the bannisters have gone! J is going to use them to for the sides of a herb trough he's building! I hope things are ok next door. x

        Morning ladies
        Im late this morning ,
We have been out looking for paint , Having panelling put up the stairs (Wisconsin ) so thinking about painting it Heritage green sort of a soft sage
Once it’s done I will buy tester pots to see what one is best before committing.

Glamm we can’t wait to see pics of Henry 😁

Oh Daisy you are brave getting glass with Eva 😱 our Martin has them I can’t wait till the baby is climbing the stairs and getting sticky fingers on and licking them 😂😂😂
        I am evil I know 😈
It will look lovely though xx

Plant I hope you enjoy the film , the cartoon ones are really popular amongst young adults at the minute .

Lizzie well done with the Olive trees , my DD had one for about 5 years then it just died , she wasn’t doing anything different and looked after it but it gave up the ghost 😁

Gem have a lovely lunch sometimes our friends will say it’s their turn to pay when we are out when I’m convinced it’s our turn 😁

Its lovely in the sun I might get the garden tidied at some point .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Daisy, we used to have a very productive Fig tree in the garden but it had to be removed for the cabin so we planted a new one. What we didn’t do was constrict the roots so it has fruits which never ripen and grow to full size. They have to have their roots restricted apparently. Fortunately it has plenty of space where it it and is quite attractive.

GD and I decided to cancel the get-together today, she has quite a lot to fit in as she is without baby H and not working.

Have a nice time at the cinema Plant.

Daisy, look after Eva and enjoy a painting day

            That colour sounds lovely Oma.

We have been to Tesco, and to collect (not from Tesco) an oxygen monitor for DD3 who tested positive for covid today. She's been a bit poorly for 3 days or so but tested negative until today. The midwife wants her to borrow this monitor. We will drop it off on the way to our friends house. Conveniently in the same direction as DD's!

Oma - you're a glutton for punishment putting up panelling. Lots of painting and more dusting! (But I'm sure it will look lovely). Naughty you - wishing fingerprints and lick marks on M & C's staircase!

I think/hope the glass in the sides of our banisters will be easy to keep clean(ish) with the Karcher window washer! They've done well today - the old bannisters etc have been stripped out and the newel posts are in. Two more days' work and then we'll have to wait about 10 days for the glass as it has to be cut to size after all the wooden bits are in. Our dark hallway looks much lighter as well.

Plant - my in-laws one was in the ground against a dry stone wall, and I think my FIL had dug old paving slabs all round the roots to stop them spreading. It was quite a rarity in their area then and I always thought it was amazing. I hope you and GD1 can have a day out another day when she's less pressed for time.

Gem - did you have a good lunch out?

On the way we dropped things off with DD3 and and had a distanced chat with her.

                      Good morning everyone.
The sun is shining here and the sky so blue. I think it's cold out though! It was mild yesterday, I didn't even take a jacket when we went to see our friends. I regretted it when we drove back at 6 however!

Library duty for me this morning. GS1 from school and to marital arts class this afternoon. We are the having the Monday Whats App quiz tonight this week and it's my turn to host, so that's what I will be doing between 8 and 9 PM.

I hope everyone is well and Nan2 having a lovely holiday.

Wow Gems any tagliatelle goes down well with me when I lived in Albir there was a suburb Spanish restaurant who made the most amazing sauce even though we ran our own kitchen I stopped there sometimes twice a week on my walk home I could never make the sauce as good as the owner could in that little restaurant.

Oma the colour that you describe for the panelling sounds similar to the colour that was in Henrys old house they had panelling half way up the wall in their lounge it looked really good their house has just been renovated from 2 flats back into a house.

Speaking of Henry he was so good again last night no problems at all he got himself comfy as soon as I turned off the TV in the bedroom and I never heard him until 7am when he went out for his business. He has certainly fitted in well here its as though he has always lived here.Today we are going to the beach for a walk along the prom he can certainly walk even though he has short legs Luke my youngest GS took him for a walk yesterday and was amazed how fast he can run.

Yesterday I paid the balance of my Majorca holiday and was surprised that the same holiday if I had booked yesterday had gone down in price but the flight times where not as good as the ones that I had booked, what did surprise me was the rise in the price of the Airport lounges previously I had paid £22 each and when I enquired the cheapest price for Escape Lounge was £ 69.50 for the two of us so quite an increase I politely declined and just booked our seats.

Going to crack on with some ironing now before I go out Henry is fast asleep in the sun beside the window so will catch up soon. xx glamma xx

It's exciting when you pay your holiday balance! Just what we need in these times a holiday to look forward to.

                            Morning ladies
I got 6 hours solid sleep last night so raring to go

Dark load washed and dried and housework done,
Had a quick shower and I’m popping to Sainsburys soon then down to Dunelm .

Glamm that’s what we doing on stairs panels half way up , DD has her lounge dinner main wall panelled to the ceiling a bit to much on our stairs they so high .Hers looks nice so far , the decorators are in today to paint it all , she is looking forward to it being back to normal she feels she has lived in a builders yard for a week 😁

On top of that she is having all her oak kitchen doors sprayed so they came took the doors away on Thursday and it’s a Huge big kitchen so lots of open cupboards at the minute
She said it’s easy to find stuff without doors but also shows the muck and clutter 😂😂

It must be Spring, lots of decorating going on, I think I will pass on that. Lunching at the golf club with NT group today, looking forward to that the golf club has a lovely view. Have finished the pale lavender part of the bunting, I might have time today to cut out the darker colour, no hurry but I like to get things done. This afternoon I am having my hand dressed again at the surgery.

I Love to hear about Henry Glam, he sounds a little sweetie. Have you tried leaving him on his own yet.
Oma, so lovely to hear you got a good nights sleep, you must be raring to go.

Good morning everyone. We had frost overnight but the sun is shining and it’s definitely a bit warmer.

OH had a tip slot booked for 9am so we were up and raring to go quite early. There’s a lot of drilling, sawing and hammering on the stairs and we have to watch Eva doesn’t walk off the landing which is now open to the stairs. I’m using my iPad downstairs as it’s a bit hazardous to let her into the hallway.

Glamm, Henry sounds a lovely laid back doggy. Enjoy your walk with him. I saw his photo on FB - he’s got a lovely cheeky twinkle in hie eye! I bet those little legs go so fast you can hardly see them move!

Gem - it must have been mild yesterday to go out without a jacket. A active day for you with library, GS1, martial arts and hosting the quiz tonight.

Plant - have a lovely time with your NT friends. Is your hand less painful now?

Oma - thank goodness you’ve finally had. Good night’s sleep. I bet you’re like a whirlwind today with all that energy. Are you just window shopping at Dunelm, or want something specific? I bet B’s glad it’s not IKEA. 😜. I think having work done in the kitchen is the most disruptive, so I hope your DD’s doesn’t take too long. I bet it will look lovely though. What does Storm think of it all? Is he ok now?

Is it today Nanto flies back? If so, Nanto, safe journey. We’ll look forward to hearing all about your holiday.

I’m going to do some painting and perhaps some gardening. Bit later when it’s warmer.
