My little furry friend has been in the drawer again, of course it is empty but they left a few calling cards. I will leave it a few days before I put the other items back but the food bin liners will have to go somewhere else.

Gem - yes, I feel very sorry for him. He and his wife tend to keep themselves to themselves normally, and are very private people, but very pleasant neighbours. It's hard to do much to help him, other than pass the time of day when he is out and about.

Plant - I'm sure you will encourage your little visitors to leave their calling cards elsewhere. Has Baby H had a lovely birthday?

I've found the Pantone colour I mentioned this morning. I'll put it in a separate thread!

Plant,those pesky mice can/will get anywhere. Not fussy over their diet either.
Hope baby H had a lovely first birthday.

Had a nice but busy day. Cleaned all dads external doors this morning, while it was mild and dry.
Came home and finished my own jobs.

This afternoon friends visited, and stayed for about 2½ hours.
It was lovely to see them.

I got my tooth patched up for now. It looks as though it will have to come out before too long though. It has been patched up several times over the years and is on borrowed time.
The timing worked out well for picking up GS1 from school afterwards.

Busy day for hubby. One of his brothers booked a day off work, as he needs some work doing on his car.
Hubby will follow behind to bring him back. Brother decided he want to cut a tree down while he has the day off.
So guess where hubby will be.
Whatever will i do, when i'm on my own.

Gem I find the patch up of teeth don’t last long but you never know it just might , timing was good , been loving the happy photos on FB 😁

Well it’s 7 days and DD still testing positive so no Dog for us again , she is fed up as she feels fine and is desperate to take the dog for a walk ,
GS and SIL are doing that but she wants to get out too , she is very active and this week is driving her mad 🤨

We off to do a bit shopping so I will pop back later xx

Oma, the two main cast of our panto had to miss the last week of the panto run due to testing positive. Like your DD both feeling fine so very frustrated at missing such an important thing after missing last years completely.

Lizzie, I'm glad your head is feeling better. These things can take their time cant they?

Library for me this afternoon. Last week was very busy and all on my feet. I hope for some laptop work for at least part of it today

Good morning, everyone. It's bright and sunny here, but I saw a neighbour scraping her car windscreen so it must have been frosty in the night.

Nanto - I got suet out to make dumplings with the casserole yesterday, then changed my mind. I do like them. Can I pop round to yours, please? Is it a big tree your BIL wants to chop down? Enjoy a bit of "me" time today.

Oma - poor DD. She must be so fed up. But thank goodness sh'e' feeling ok, even though that makes it more frustrating. Storm will miss his day out at your house, though.

Lizzie - it's amazing what you find at the back of cupboards, isn't it. I hope you don't have to throw out too much. Be careful though and no climbing on step ladders.

I want to get a few jobs done this morning, before dog training this afternoon.

Gem - you posted while I was typing. Good luck with getting some lap top time at the library this afternoon. Did the panto go ahead with understudies in the two main roles? Our village panto has been postponed. I don't know now when it will take place.

Daisy, one day (two performances) were missed then it carried on with understudies until the end.
The other York panto was closed for at least half of its intended run. I read that they got through four Cinderellas!

Gem - it sounds as though both pantos have done their best with a good 'the show must go on' spirit. I hope things are better for next year's performances.

Lizzie I went through my cupboard yesterday and the fridge before I shopped today ,
Found a Kilner jar of luxury Pate that we bought for Christmas , it had been shoved to the back and forgotten , it was todays date so had to go out but I did keep the lovely jar ,
Also a tub of Potato salad again pushed to the back , I must rotate more ,

Gem hope you get to sit down a bit today , standing a long time when your not used to it kills your back doesn’t it ,

Daisy how’s J is he over his cold ? Enjoy dog training ,
Do you watch Dogs behaving very badly ? Last night the Boxer and the Pug responded good but the collie was a worry .

Oma, I love Dogs Behaving Badly. I think Graeme is fabulous! It seems to me it is usually the male dogs needing the help. If I ever get a dog I think it will be female!
