Good morning, Nanto - sending hugs, and best wishes for good news about your BIL. Take care. xxx
Hello to all who follow as well. It's French class then dog training for me today, so I'll be back as and when I can. My arm and shoulder was really painful during the night so I'll try and be careful with it today!"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Good morning Nan2, I hope the day gets better for you. Good morning ladies.
Nan2, my OH's brother has had two heart attacks, and stents fitted. After having the second ones, as your BIL is to have, he hasn't looked back.
How are you feeling today Plant? They tell us there are some very nasty colds around at the moment, so maybe that is what you have. Just give yourself some tlc until it passes.
Daisy, how is the arm and shoulder?
I think I will deliver a few more newsletters this morning.
Library this afternoon. There is a survey taking place in libraries today. Unless they out and out refuse, every user is to complete a short questionnaire before they leave. I will man that at our branch from 1 until 4. I watched a training video about it at the library a couple of weeks ago!
Our upstairs loo flush is broken. Its a stupid push in one on the front and new visitors always struggle. Well now its not working at all. Thank goodness we have the downstairs loo. The plumber is coming to look this afternoon.
have a good Wednesday everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning,
Nanto, I hope your BIL is on his way to recovery.
Oma, you certainly got rid of the bed quick enough.
Daisy, how is the shoulder? Plant, are you feeling any better today?
My neighbour came to fix the tap but it wasn't as easy as he (we) thought, I have a wall until in the shower room and it wasn't an easy task to get the old tap removed, but, he did it!
I have a neighbour, 40 years ago they split 2 of the flats into 2 flats for single people, she moved in straight away so has lived here 40 years. I get on OK with her, she will speak to me in the lift etc, she certainly doesn't look after herself and over the years there have been problems as she won't let anyone inside the flat! She had a fire years ago, the mice we had a couple of years ago came from her, she had them as pets. They moved her out at the time and completely cleaned, decorated etc etc. She does have someone come once a week to keep an eye on her. A few months ago she had a bandage on her nose, I asked her what she had done, she said that she had been to the hospital and they had removed something.
I haven't seen her pass in a while but that is not unusual as I don't sit looking out of the kitchen window all day long. I have seen a few strangers pass, one I thought was Vincents father! Vincent, he lives in the other half of the flat, he asked if I knew what was wrong as there was panic in the hall yesterday morning. The lady has a friend on the 4th floor, she went down now and again for a chat so I went to ask her if she knew what was wrong. What a story!
They removed the cancer from her nose and did a biopsy, it had spread to her bones, she went to this lady with a list that she needed for her stay in the hospital, she literally had nothing from the list so how that went on we don't know. The man that comes weekly took a weeks holiday to take her to the hospital etc as she would have no idea how to get there as it was the one in Rotterdam. She was operated on October 1st, they had to remove her nose, cheek bones and the front of her skull! That is what the panic was yesterday morning, the nurse had arrived and he panicked and said he couldn't face changing the bandages etc, I can understand that.
When it all heals she should be getting plastic surgery, I just hope it hasn't spread. I know how she is, anyone else would go into a home to be looked after a few weeks but she wouldn't agree to that. I woke in the night thinking about her.

Oh the poor woman Lizzie , it doesn't sound good does it
Well my Neighbour is having another episode , its been a while since the last one ,
This morning one of our neighbours was passing and she came out the door and shouted abuse at him ,
Then my DD came with the dog ,
we heard her shouting again and as my DD was leaving we went to the door and she was screaming down the phone she wanted the police to come straight away ,
She was screaming the Devils car was parked outside her house
The Devils car is my DD Red car with number plate J666
She sees it all the time but has decided today its the devils car ,
My DD said Kym you know its my car but she went indoors and wouldn't answer but was still on the phone to the police ,
We said something was going to happen , she is back in with a Church group who come and pray with her and tell her she doesn't need her medication only Prayer .
These people should be prosecuted they are a danger to her .
No doubt she will be sectioned again at some point .

Oma, the same thing happened to a friends son as with your neighbour, he belongs to a strict church and they told him that he didn't need his medicine, oh dear, the things he went through, he would phone the police and tell them someone was being murdered in the flat under him etc etc. One night the friend got called to the police station, he was in a cell! That is when he was admitted and they got his medicine sorted and he had been fine every since.
I have spoke to the neighbour, a young girl was out for a walk with her, it looks bad but is healing now. I have told her if she needs anything to ask, I doubt if she will though.
I have to go to the hospital soon, for the bladder examination. It is called urodynamic testing.

Lizzie it happens every few month , They section her keep her in till her medication kicks in then send her home ,
She is fine with us usually but she shouts abuse to rest of the neighbours and the old couple who are in there 80s and wouldn't hurt a fly she says all sorts about them
She is convinced they are listening to her conversations and have bugged her house ,
A couple of weeks ago she said she had some junk mail for them that had been put in hers by mistake , she couldn't find it so they must have broken in just to steal the junk mail
I asked where they had broken in she said they must have a KeyIm not fat just 6ft too small

It's very sad isnt it Oma, and hard for the neighbours.
I hope the bladder thing is soon over Lizzie.
I have delivered more leaflets this morning , just a couple of small roads to do now which I will probably do on Friday morning.
I have also hung towels on the line and done some more paperwork for the library Friends group. I'm in for another year of secretary duties as no one volunteered to take it on at the AGM!
Off for a shower and early lunch now.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

OMG what a dreadful thing, I agree she probably left it too long, hasn’t she got family Lizzie
I have a warfarin check up to go to later this morning, I expect it to be. Didn’t get this finished before I had to go to have my warfarin checkup. Everything fine there. My virus is now turned into a cold. Both the babies are next door, I will not be popping in today.
Gemini, I had a problem with the push button flush, it still isn’t working as it should, it used to have a short flush and a full flush, now it only does a full flush.
Oma, wash your new bed comfortable, I know you only changed the base but it might have made a difference
WG, how are things, am thinking about you and the family. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Gem, 2 hours I sat there with all the tubes etc, at least it was a really nice young man that did it! Now I have to drink a lot of water this evening.
Plant, the neighbour has no family here, she has a brother on the Isle of Wight and a sister in California so she doesn't see either of them. She hasn't a computer or anything so all she has is a phone call now and again.
Oma, yes, strange how those people think, and they are convinced they are right.

GS1 turned up after college at 3pm so I fed him as as usual he was starving
DD just picked him up
Lizzie is the water to flush you out after your tests ,
Hope your not uncomfortable x
We have had the push button on our two loos replaced on several occasions , they either stick on and keep flushing constantly or will only flush on large button
Myself I would prefer a handle flush .Im not fat just 6ft too small
