Lizzie I don’t know if you recall I had Vertigo some months ago ,
It was awful even worse if I tried to blow my nose or sneeze , I had to lay on the floor it was how I imagine a fairground ride would be , never having been on one but I could imagine it ,
Just opening my eyes made me feel so sick , my Dr gave me some medication it worked sort of but took some time ,
I sympathise with you it’s truly awful . I hope your Dr can help xx

Oma, I do remember that, my doctor has just phoned and I told her exactly what you describe, a fairground ride! I will get the medicine and ask my fysio this afternoon if they do the exercises, that is what the doctor told me! I can go out on my bike to the village etc but have to watch I don't move my head too fast, luckily I have a mirror on the bike.

Good morning Lizzie, Oma, and others!
The vertigo must be awful Lizzie, and scary. But maybe knowing what it is helps? xx
I remember you having that Oma.

A very frosty morning here. Sleet is forecast later! OH will be on the golf course later
I am going over to my mum's house this morning to check the house. This afternoon I will visit her, negative lateral flow test permitting! So many seem to be testing positive now, not in my immediate circle however.
The indoor Christmas trees will be taken down today. Being reverse Christmas Elves was what DD described us as being yesterday when we were taking everything else down. I usually call it Dismantling Christmas, but I like the Reverse Elves one

Happy Thursday and Twelfth Night ladies.

                Morning everyone.
Lizzie I hope you get some relief from the vertigo one way or another.

We had a lovely time at “Frozen”. It was at the Theatre Royal ,Drury Lane, a fantastic, grand theatre.Close to Covent Garden we were able to wander round and admire an enormous red and silver decorated Christmas tree. We bought cookies and sat on a bench admiring the lights whilst we ate them. The show was amazing with fantastic sets and effects.Trains worked well and we had a hot chocolate (with cream!) to enjoy on the train home.

Just off for a frosty walk.Hope everyone is okay and has a good day

I'm so glad you enjoyed your birthday treat

Thanks Gem and Clover, I am pleased I know what it is and that it will clear, I have had it 2 years really but nothing like this, I went to the specialist about it 2 years ago as I had knocking??? noises in my head, I even had to have a scan, that was all clear, I am deaf in my left ear but I have known that a long time. Since then I have a "fuzzy" head now and again but nothing like the last few days. The young doctor was very nice on the phone, took her time, listened to all I had to say.

Clover, you would enjoy the theatre and the treats included!xx

Gem, I hope your mum is fine when you visit.

Good frosty morning, everyone. Clover chose the right time to see Frozen - the view from our windows looks like a scene from the stage show.

Lizzie - it sounds horrible, but at least you know what's causing the problem. I do hope it can be sorted out quickly, and do be careful on your bike.

Clover - what a wonderful day. I love Covent Garden. Even these days I'm sure there is lots going on, and the show sounded wonderful. Your family chose a great birthday present for you. I've never been to the Theatre Royal, but it looks amazing. Were there a lot of little Elsas? xx

Gem - Reverse Elves - how lovely! I hope everything is ok at your mum's house and I'm sure you will test negative to go and see her. S will be a bit chilly out on the golf course though.

Nanto - your little bears are very busy. Thank you for asking about Sunshine. I think she was away on a sunshine cruise before Christmas, but I'll give her a ring and check she's ok. She's always a ray of sunshine, no matter what. x

OH is wood turning this morning. He's got a very large bowl on the lathe and is keen to get on with it, and I'm definitely going to paint - when I've had a shower and done the Sainsbury's order. I'll take Eva out later.

Jack Frost has visited, very white outside, I am pleased the fruit trees are getting frosted. Reminds me, I must put some food out for the birds, the squirrels should be snug in their beds. It has been so mild so they didn’t need feeding. Very late getting up today, I have had a few disturbed nights with itching from the Phoriosis. Still haven’t heard anything about removing the lump on my hand.

Lizzie, I have a balance problem in my right ear, can’t sleep on that side. Be very careful riding that bike. We have a doctor in the practice who manipulates a persons head and neck with this problem.

Clover, how lovely to be with your family for your birthday and being thoroughly spoilt. Your trip to the theatre sounded really special.

Good luck with the painting Daisy.

Plant, mine is on the left side, that is what my doctor told me, some doctors can treat the patient, I hope my fysio, or one of them, can help me.

It isn't cold here, well not frosty cold. The sun is out at the moment.

Oma - that looks like proper winter up your way. Our frost has gone, but it's flippin' chilly out there.
