How stupid Oma, he should have known by the statistics it was not just a virus. More napkins Oma, are you down to your last dozen packs? Any news of your neighbour.

I don’t buy skirts but I noticed some in a catalogue I received from Country Collections, I would think the Scottish Woollen Miles would have some.

Gemini, enjoy your reflexology, I feel I would enjoy a session, my bones feel very old.

Daisy, very difficult to rest an arm, we use them constantly, how about putting it in a sling? Pleased for your friend that she was able to buy in her preferred place .

Good morning everyone. The sun's out now, but it's very chilly. Just 4°C when I went to collect Cooper this morning, and despite wearing a fleece and having the car heater and the seat heater on I was still cold. It didn't help that I'd washed my hair and it was wet. It's too long to manage at the moment, but I'm having it cut on Thursday.

The dogs were very excited to see each other, but have settled down a bit now.

Enfys - your Cooper sounds such a sweetie, and I bet he loves his day with you. Has he met Dexter? Those house socks sound just the job for chilly winter mornings.

Glamm - I can't believe it's so long since you had that fall. Your little people sound delightful.. They bring so much joy, don't they.

Grauntie - did you enjoy the Katherine Jenkins concert? She has got a wonderful voice. Are you feeling tired after your night out? I think we've got out of the habit of going out, especially in the evening, and I find it quite tiring! But I hope you slept well with all that wonderful music still in your ears.

Gem - are you back into having regular reflexology again now? I hope OH does well in the golf competition. I love salmon, too. Your auntie is amazing.

Oma - I hope your niece's OH is ok, despite being such an idiot. Even if that was the way he felt about the Government guidelines he should have had the sense to keep his thoughts to himself at such a sad time for you all. I heard that IKEA are running low on napkins (haha, only joking!) I hope B enjoys his trip there. xx

Lizzie - your swimming friend sounds very unsure on her bike. Letting her go in front is probably a good idea so you can keep an eye on her. Pleased to hear your other friend is being so positive - it can't be easy for her. I'm sure you will be happy to get back to your own hairdresser.

WeeGranny - you must feel as though you are banging your head against a brick wall sometimes. Nothing seems to get done without a huge amount of hassle and stress. We need those gentle walks to calm us down.

Plant - I think you're right about skirts - not so easy to find these days. I think Cotton Traders, Next and Damart have a few in their ranges. I'm sorry I cant find the post from the original query, but perhaps Google skirts and see what comes up. I very rarely wear skirts - I've got two winter ones and one summer one! They must all be well over 10 years old. I have wondered about a sling for my arm, but I know I'd just take it out every time I wanted to do something with my right hand. I know I should be more disciplined!

Daisy, it's me that's looking for skirts!! I've got several denim skirts, but I'd like something a bit more dressy. They all seem to be mini or midi ....maxi on me! I'll just keep an eye out when I'm trawling the internet and maybe I'll find something suitable!

Problem with OH's account is that it's a share account in his name so not as simple as going in with a bank book! Anyway, got a call from the girl I spoke with yesterday and the POA is now in operation. Hopefully I'll can do the transactions by phone, if not I'll have to go back into the branch in town. Our main bank account is a joint one, so no problems there and I've got my 'running away' fund for a rainy day! Luckily the house is in our joint names, so that can't be sold to pay for care home fees.

Been to the gym this morning and feel the better for it. Have plenty to keep me busy for the rest of the day too.

        Frost this morning, but sunny.

Hope everyone has a good day xx

Plant have not heard anything or seen her parents so no idea what is happening ,
At some point they will let her out

Daisy a sling does sound a good idea even if you do take your arm out occasionally ,

Yes my Nephew in law didn't choose a good time to make stupid comment's especially as his MIL and myself had just lost our Brother

Lizzie you are kind taking your friend under your wing even if she did give you a fright on the rail lines .

Been to Ikea got my napkins they should last me till at least new year
          B was very good ,
Didn't complain when I trailed around then went to the Ikea food shop for Meat balls ,
I think he has resigned himself to the fact he can't avoid it

            Good afternoon.
I had a lovely relaxing treatment and catch up this morning.
Daisy I have been having regular monthly treatments since the rules relaxed. Sometimes at 2 or 3 week intervals if I feel I need it.
We need a trip to IKEA Oma, we want some photo shelves.
Gosh Lizzie, I think you are right to send your friend over the lines first next time! !
At least the POA is activated now WG.

GS1 has WWE on you tube. He seems to think I am interested, so keeps showing me clips. He talked on this topic most of the journey home!

Gem, I certainly will let her go in front of me, but, I will also tell her the rules of the tram lines!

Lizzie, very good of you to look after your neighbour, especially on the tram lines.

I have been doing a bit of decluttering in 2 of the kitceh cupboards.
So now i have 2 empty cupboards, but i know what is going in them.
That will be a job for tomorrow morning.

WeeGranny - I do hope you can find the perfect skirt somewhere. I know what you mean about length, though. They are either very short indeed or you're tripping over the hem if you're as small as me! I'm glad you've finally got the POA operating - it will make things much easier. There's so much red tape these days, and it's hard to actually speak to someone who seems to know what they're doing. Very frustrating.

Nanto - two empty cupboards! Well done. I need to do some decluttering in the kitchen. I'm sure we feel better for getting rid of the things we don't use.

Oma - poor B. He's obviously given up hope of avoiding trips to Ikea.

Lizzie - I'm sure your friend will gain confidence on her bike with some practice and guidance.

Gem - I'm sure I must live on a different planet from everyone else, but I don't know what WWE is. Your GS1 would have a lot of explaining to do for me to know what he was talking about.

I finally got round to doing my French homework, and I've decided that French spelling is as difficult as English!

I've also put together a 'proof' album of the photos I took at our friend's 80th birthday party, and OH will give it to him and his wife tomorrow. I hope they like them.

Good Wednesday morning - an early 'hello' from me. It's sunny this morning, so fingers crossed it lasts all day.

I'm just off for a shower and to take Eva for a short walk before French. OH is out all day today, so I've had to re-organise myself a bit. I'll pop back tonight.

Sun is shining, but we have had a couple of quick showers.

I've refilled the empty cupboards and the other cupboards look less cluttered now.
Also wrapped birthday presents for GD2.
Now, to get on with the day.
