No plans for me today, I am making Christmas decorations for the WI Christmas tree. It is a competition, most of the organisations in the village decorate a tree in the church. Ours is yellow and gold. We have to hand them in this Wed at WI. I love to see the trees decorated by the playgroups.

have a nice visit with the GGC I hope it stays fine for the petting farm for them x

Very dull and chilly here this morning. I spent a little while in the garden, tidying up then facetimed with DS. Lovely news, they are hoping to come back for a visit in July next year! So excited, fingers crossed it will happen. Their borders are opening up now so we are hopeful.

Hubby went to the car boot sale this morning.
He bought a lovely brand new quick assemble Christmas tree.
Its a black one,ready decorated and the seller even gave him a set of new fairy lights.
Looks lovely,hubby thought it would be nice for in the hall.
Paid £10 for it,and its worth it.

Gem Apart from ironing what I washed and dried this morning , I haven't done anything
I had a Nana nap for a hour .
To be honest after my Booster on Tuesday I haven't felt 100% , tired headache painful arm ,
Not enough to stop me doing anything or going anywhere just lingering a bit , Feel fine today but made the excuse to have a nap

B has made a Sunday roast for tea smells lovely .

Oma, our WI tree is yellow and gold (no silver) I have been using a lot of glitter, gets everywhere. They have to be taken to WI on Wed so I will not make anymore.
GD1, baby H and I went to visit DS, Dil and their family. Baby H was a star, kept everyone amused including GS’s, their cat wasn’t impressed. They hadn’t spent much time with baby H so were very pleased to spend some time with her.

Enfys, I do hope your DS and family will be able to make a visit next year, something for you to look forward to.

Nanto, your OH is very good with his car boot buys. Never seen a black tree but we with the lights it must sparkle.

Another busy day for us! Our niece and her OH arrived and the two men disappeared into the shed with their coffees, leaving my niece and I to chat over ours. We hardly ever see each other just the two of us, so we had a lot of catching up to do. It was lovely to see her.

After lunch I took Eva out and then we went round to see friends. A lovely day.

Today we are taking my auntie out for lunch at a farm shop cafe near her. We tried to go there once before (admittedly on Friday during the school summer holidays) and couldn't get a table . We have booked today.

Good Monday morning, everyone. Forgive me for not replying to everyone. My arm, which was getting better is now back to square one so I'm doing my best to rest it. Yesterday a dog ran up to Eva, and she spun round yanking my arm in the process. It's so painful and typing is really hard.

Enfys - I'm over the moon for you about your DS and family coming over in the summer. Fingers crossed it all goes to plan. xx

Glamm - I totally agree with Gem. You're not a moaner, but we all like to share stuff that's going on in our lives - the good, the exciting, the mundane and the miserable. xx

I'm going to see a friend from college for coffee this morning. She's just moved house and is going through the process of having to stay in for workmen etc, so it's a good chance to have a lovely morning together, and I haven't seen her since June.

I have got another cold! Very annoyed as I have a busy week. I will not go to bowls today but tomorrow I have the funeral of a very dear friend to attend. I hope I haven’t passed it to the family who I was with yesterday, especially baby H.

I have done all my housework and dusted upstairs , cleaned the bathroom and polished the chrome towel radiator ,
B is out the front with the Garden Vac clearing leaves from around the door and drive ,

Good morning, I am like you today Oma, been to the gym, hoovered through and cleaned the floors, just done my shopping and now having my coffee. Pool later on, with suit on today!!! The lockdown won't bother me really, restaurants etc closed at 8pm, show code to get into sport, pool etc so no change there, as yet. I think they will have more problems in the towns and cities.

Plant, there are so many with colds, take care.xxx
