Happy Sunday morning everyone.
Nan2, the plants sound lovely, and how nice for FIL to have something new outside.
Another golf away for OH. Off this morning, back tomorrow evening.
I am going to see my mum this afternoon. It was planned for tomorrow, but I have been asked to look after GS2, so will see mum today. That is an advantage of the slight rules change. The primary visitor can go when ever they like, don't have to prebook. I will just phone this morning to say I will be there this afternoon.

No real plans for me, if weather is fine, I have a few jobs needing doing in the garden. Baby H has been an ideal visitor next door, not sure what time her parents will be here to fetch her. We have the wedding photos on our mail, not that impressed, nice B&W ones but they are overexposed. Daisy where were you?
Gemini, I am sure your mum will be pleased to see you, it is nice to be flexible again.
Enjoy your lunch Oma.What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good Sunday morning everyone. It's bright and sunny here, and promises to be warm later.
Nanto - that's a very eye-catching graphic. Peacock are fascinating birds, aren't they. We had two Festuca Intense Blue grasses in tubs in the front garden, but they outgrew the tubs so we planted them in the borders and added another for good luck. I really like them and they're easy to look after. That's a nice, thoughtful thing to do for FIL.
Gem, it must be so much easier now you can be flexible with your plans to see your mum, and you'll enjoy having the GS2 tomorrow. I do hope S enjoys her golf today and tomorrow. They are certainly making up for lost time, and I'm sure they are all delighted.
Oma - enjoy your lunch out today. Another routine I'm sure you're happy to get back into.
No plans for us today. A friend's coming round for coffee later (I must get a shower and get dressed!) and this afternoon I want to get back to my painting - I haven't touched it for weeks! There's nothing we can do in the garden, although I think OH is going to carry on painting his shed.

Just been to Morrisons on the way back we were stopped going around the round about and under the fly over by the police There was a body in the road covered by a blanket ,
Lots of Police cars but no Ambulance ,
We seen all the police cars as we passed on the way to Morrisons but thought it had been a bump and thought it would be clear by time we got back .
It must be suspicious otherwise a Ambulance would have been by now .
Someone is going to get bad news today poor things .Im not fat just 6ft too small

Good Afternoon Ladies! It has been a glorious day here and the forecast looks good for the coming week. It'll be nice to have some blue skies and warmth before we head into Autumn.
Have just done a Nordic Walking course in the local country park. Not as easy as it looks, but I think I'm hooked! Been sitting in garden with the Sunday magazines before I head off to get dinner ready. Roast beef tonight.
Sad news Oma, even worse when you can see what has caused the delay. I remember going for a walk one morning and there was a body at the side of the road. Someone had covered him over and were waiting for the police/ambulance. It was an old boy who'd been pinching veggies from the allotment ( he was well known for it in the village).
Hope everyone has had a good day, enjoy the evening xxBelieve you can and you're halfway there.
