Lizzie what a shame about the sleeves , on Sunday I was telling my friend about them , she has been as I told you having her legs wrapped daily for two weeks , she said she feels so much more comfy .
B has the new glass in , new roller blind up painted the shed and newly painted door hinges so it looks like a new shed with its new roof also ,

He has just gone to pick MIL up she's all done and ready to come home .

How annoying about the sleeves Lizzie. You have had a busy day.
Good to catch up with gardening when it's fine Nan2.
          Shed looks good Oma!
A restful day today Plant and hopefully you will be fine tomorrow x

A busy library afternoon. Lots of children coming in for the the Summer Reading Challenge. The other volunteer who is sometimes there on my afternoon had never done it, so I talked her through the process and she watched me do some, then she had a go.
We had a good chat too and listened to the singing group in the next room for part of the afternoon.

Took OH for his chemo today. They do a blood test before the chemo's administered and it was still very low. So they phoned the consultant who was in another hospital and she decided it could go ahead but she'd need to speak to the other cancer consultant who might want to change his meds. He's only just restarted them! Anyway, he's back on steroids for his rash, had his chemo for the melanoma and we wait to see if anything's to be done about low bloods. I've got a nasty feeling I'll be administering injections to increase the blood count before long. It was spoken about, but decided against!

Dasiy, yes, DS is still here! have no idea when he's going back!! he's off to dogsit for DD week after next while they have a week in Cornwall. My fridge might stay well stocked while he's away!

Went to Waitrose while OH was in hospital and stopped at the deli counter. Fancied a slice of Gala pie, so asked assistant if she would cut two slices as I was sure my DS would fancy it when he saw it. Her reply ? That's the trouble with teenage boys, they eat you out of house and home! Didn't disillusion her by telling her that the said son is 41!! left the shop with a smile on my face and a spring in my step I can tell you!

Pleased to hear that your DS is stable Daisy. Plant, hope you're feeling better today, take it easy. All those other people who are under the weather or are having to isolate, I hope things improve for you all soon.

Take care ladies and enjoy your evening xx

WG I often had to Inject B with those to raise his blood levels , happened more times than i liked ,
his poor stomach would be black and blue with them but he did feel better having them .

You must look young thinking you had a teenage DS I would have skipped out

Grauntie, that comment must have made your day.

                    Oma, shed looks good.
                    Hope your MIL is ok.

I thought we were going to have a downpour about 5.30.
We had a few spots of rain, lasted for all of 2 seconds.

Grauntie - I hope you settled for sitting in the garden with your book, just keeping an eye on the weeds and willing them to stop growing!

Oma - poor lady, but it sounds as though her sons are very caring. I hope she'll be ok. What bad luck for C's brother, his wife and parents to test positive just after their wedding. I hope M & C are ok - I'm sure they are looking forward to their holiday. Thank goodness everything went well for your MIL today. Your shed looks like a little palace. The blinds are a good idea and look smart.

Glamm - it will be much better not having to go down to the bottom of the garden for your fridge freezer. It sounds as though you have been friends with this kind man and his wife for many years. How are your eyes now - ok, I hope. xx

Nanto - another busy day for you. Plus washing to do tomorrow! I hope that rain doesn't happen.

Lizzie - you're another busy, busy bee. I hope your new sleeves don't take long to be remade. It sounds as though you live in a caring community where people look out for each other. It was nice of you to help with the caravan.

Gem - the library afternoon seems to be getting busier and busier. You must be pleased it's going well.

WeeGranny - it's such a balancing act with chemo isn't it. I'm glad OH was able to have his treatment today, and the steroids help the rash. When the rash has cleared up does he have to come off the steroids gradually? I do hope he doesn't need the injections. Are they to increase his white blood cell count? There was a Waitrose Gala pie at the buffet for my GS1's 18th a couple of weeks ago, and it was delicious! The nicest I've ever tasted. How lovely that the lady decided your son must be a teenager. At this rate you'll need ID to buy wine by next week. Thank you - DS1 is coping well despite very painful finger and toe nails. He's feeling a bit tired, too, as the consultant has reduced his steroid doese from 15mg to 10. It was 35mg to start with though, so already a big reduction over a period of time.

OH has been making chutney all afternoon and has prepared two more lots ready to start tomorrow morning. He chopped the tomatoes etc in the Magimix, and poor Cooper didn't like the noise at all. Needless to say, I managed to swerve the ironing for another day!

I seem to be the early bird today. Not exactly from choice. Cooper woke up at 6 o'clock wanting to go in the garden. Then of course both dogs decided it was breakfast time. Then play time. Now they've both gone back to sleep leaving me wide awake!

A busy day for us today. Our neighbours are away for a couple of days, so we're feeding their cats. OH wants to make some more chutney this morning, the dogs need a good run in the paddock, and this afternoon we're playing crazy golf! I'm not sure why, except that someone arranged it. But we can't stay for a meal afterwards because we don't want to leave Cooper and Eva too long. I've also got to do the Sainsbury's order today.

I don't think the ironing will get a look in!

I hope everyone is ok. See you later. xx

Good morning, Daisy, the sleeves are made to measure so as it was their mistake nothing to be done with them. It was a trial as they are new. My therapist said she won't bother again! The ones I have are easy to get on and can I say comfy?

It is better weather so will get a bike ride in, I am going away for a few days next week so hope it is decent weather for that.
DS1 was saying with GD1 working they have to plan their time away around her working times, he said it is easy to do and they have to do what they can now she is a working lady!

Nan, I hope your washing soon dries. It certainly would here today.

                              Gem, enjoy your free day.xxx

Oma, the shed does look like a new one. Hope Mil is feeling okay, she seems a very brave lady. So sorry to hear M&C have possibly been in contact with Covid, hope all goes well for their holiday.

Busy day for you Daisy, enjoy your crazy golf. Never had green tomato chutney.

Gemini, busy time at the library for you but sounds enjoyable. Enjoy your reflexology.

I thought my bedroom clock said 8.30 when I got up but it is now just after 10am so must check the clock. I have a chemist phoning me from the surgery to talk about my medication for my AF, I had a blood test last week. My tablets are prescribed by the hospital so not sure why he is ringing me.

Nice to see Grauntie posting although I am in contact with her and Enfys on Word.
