Glamm - I'm glad you're pacing yourself and not trying to do too much at once. I think it's lovely that you got your beloved John an anniversary card, and celebrating your time together is very important. xx

What a relief that your DD is getting her first injection. It will ease your worry about her workplace a lot.

Hope all those feeling a bit down or under the weather feel better soon.

Good morning, bit of a breeze this morning.Had a few spots of very light rain about an hour ago.

Going to nip on for papers for in laws when the shop opens in about ½ an hour.

        Good morning everyone.

        I hope everyone is well.

Fish and chips is one of my favourite meals Nan2, and as you say no cooking is a added bonus
Glamma, like ME and ibs fibromyalgia is not a definite condition (ibs is diagnosed by excluding certain conditions) They are all real though and some Drs accept that and others don't in the case of ME and fibromyalgia. I hope things improve for you soon xx
I hope your internet co operates better today Daisy!
Enfys, your BP may be fine next time. My meds were increased a few years ago, so sometimes that is what is needed.

GD and GS2 school pick up today, with visit to my mum first. I hope I find her happy.

        Have a good Friday ladies.

Good morning everyone. Nanto - a cheery graphic to remind us Spring is just round the corner.

Gem - I hope you find your mum feeling happy but I'm sure she will be pleased to see you. Hopefully you'll be able to get into a regular visiting routine and she will be able to look forward to each visit. xx

My internet seems ok today - yesterday was just 'one of those days' I think.

It's our exciting bins day today! I've just sorted through a pile of stuff on my desk and most of it went to recycling. I think the rest of the day is earmarked for the dreaded housework, unless I can find any "urgent" distractions.

I hope you've all got some sunshine this morning - it does cheer us up.

Love the graphic Nanto, hope you find the in-laws well. No cooking for you today, well done.

Gemini, as Daisy says, once you get into a routine with visits to your mother, she will have something to look forward to.

I must be the only person who doesn't like fish and chips, I love fish though, perhaps I haven't ever had a good one and the calories frighten me.

I am off to Waitrose today sometime and also chemist to pick up my tabs.

Had a phone call from my hairdresser yesterday offering me an appt. in April, so looking forward to that.

              Morning ladies
Its Grey and drizzly here , not sure the soil will be shifted today if it doesn't let up , Its in a big white Dumpy bag and B covered the top up with plastic last night to stop the cats getting in so its not making a mess and can wait .

We have Storm for a couple of hours while DD goes into the office ,
He was at the Vets yesterday he has strained a paw running around with Piper the dog over the road who comes for a play day with him in the garden ,
He is on anti inflammatory' tablets for a few days ,

He was weighed and he is 33.7 kl and should be 29 so no extra treats or big meals till its off , but Vet said despite the extra pounds he is fit and healthy
Of course I am being blamed for it

Gem hope your Mum is brighter today .

Daisy seems we all have lots of Paper work at times that is no use and needs to go its just sorting it isn't it ,
A few weeks ago I spent ages shredding stuff , had to keep stopping to let the shredder to cool down .

Glamm as Gem said some Drs recognise it some don't , none the less you are suffering these things and they cannot dismiss them .

Nanto enjoy your Fish and Chips yummy

Tumble is on so they are all to Iron later ,

We ventured to Sainsburys this morning at 7.30 it was empty , first time we have been in a year it was so strange and everything has changed around ,
Bought fresh uncut bread and some fruit some stir fry ingredients that's about it but nice to see something different ,

It was still empty when we came out .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Sorry to hear Storm has strained his foot. How are you going to resist those eyes Oma. I hope I find Waitrose quiet when I go later.

Oma, hope Storm's paw is better soon.
I could do with joining him on a diet.

In laws were in good form today,no complaing, which makes a change.
Fish and chips were lovely, well the fish was,i'm not fussed over chips from a fish shop. prefer homemade ones.

Been a bit chilly today, didn't have any sunshine.

Plant - you're not alone standing outside the fish and chip shop. My OH isn't keen. He will eat them, but he's not keen on any take away!

Oma - poor Storm, poorly paw and going on a diet. Cheese definitely doesn't help. It's surprising how calories mount up for a dog (even worse than for us!) I remember the breeder telling us when we got Rusty and Clyde that their tummies were about the size of a golfball! Obviously Storm's is bigger than that, but it does make you think! How nice to do a bit of shopping for yourself and get something different.

Nanto - perhaps mum and dad feel Spring is coming, too. xx

It's been mostly a nice sunny day here, and I even managed to cut the lawn this afternoon.

A good but busy day. By the time DD leaves with the children on Fridays then we eat and watch a bit of telly it's bedtime!
I will be back in the morning. Night all

Good morning all, I started to post yesterday then I ended up having a busy day! I got the table etc all oiled, in-between times I went for a bike ride, I came home and saw on Facebook that a lady I know had crocheted a lovely monkey, as GD2 has a jungle room that was ideal for her, I phoned the lady and I bought it, I went to pick it up and took it straight to GD2, she was sooooo pleased with it! Then I came home and got the table put together, too much in one day really but I did it.

What I said yesterday Oma was, how can they blame you for spoiling Storm????? It is easy to give them too much though.

When in the UK I do enjoy the fish but I have never been a chip lover.

                          Lizzie,we prefer homemade chips.
Loving the monkey, the lady who made it is very talented.

                          Supermarket shopping for us today.

                            Good morning Lizzie ,
That is very clever i bet your GD loved it

Yes its so easy to spoil him when he puts those pleading eyes on and goes and stands in front of the treat cupboard looking up or sticks his nose on the fridge for cheese

Not had a good night , Police Helicopter over the High way just behind our house from 1.15 till 3.30 , it was so low and noisy it seemed they were going to land in the garden , no idea what was going on .

Went up to bed but couldn't rest so got up and did housework and cleaned the kitchen and recycle bin .
will be wrecked by lunch time .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma and Nanto, GD2 was delighted!! It was very well made, for someone who can't crochet I think it is amazing, she makes so many lovely things. We are on the heli route from Rotterdam The Hague airport, they fly over here, low, many times in the day or night.

Nanto, strange enough I don't mind a few of those french fries from McDonalds.

I am going to get the chairs ready for on the balcony, not as nice a day today as yesterday but they will be ready. I am going to DS2 for lunch so my car will get used.

Busy, busy Lizzie. I love the monkey, no wonder your GD was pleased with it.

Oma, I could have had a chat with you last night, I couldn't get back to sleep after I visited the loo at 4.30. So unlike me but I couldn't get my mind off my friend and her funeral. I received a letter from her family asking if I would like to attend her funeral Tues week, they can only have 30 people.
GGS will be four on Monday, not sure how they are going to arrange for him to open his presents, perhaps they will set up a family and friends Zoom. such a shame he can't have a party, I doubt he will be upset about that, just us.

I will pop in again later.
