    Evening all.
Just thought I'd let you know that although I haven't been on here lately myself and family are well .
We are in the middle of trying to move. Not sure if it will actually go ahead. The bungalow we have got our eye on still has some work to do on it so fingers crossed it will be suitable for us .
    Hope everyone is well.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Good snowy morning to you Nanto, and all who pop in later.

For us it's Groundhog Day weather at the moment. Dull but dry.

Mimi - I'm pleased to hear you and the family are well. We do worry about you all. How exciting, moving house. I hope the bungalow is what you want - keeping everything crossed for you. Sending hugs. xx

We're having Cooper today. Nothing else planned, but I will have to tackle the pile of washing soon, plus a few other equally exciting chores. I hope everyone is ok. Take care in the snow.

                Good morning ladies.

Nan2, that is our view this morning too!
Plant, how is your head today? I hope you get the glasses fixed.
Mimi, good to hear from you. We miss our regulars when they don't post. I hope all goes well with moving!
                Have fun with Cooper, Daisy.
The quiz went well Oma, and I didn't get in muddle with my scoring! Family Whats App groups are wonderful! We started ours when DD3 went to Canada, and use it a lot. Also smaller ones, like just me and the 3 DDs.

GS1 day. I am sure he will be outside in the snow for part of the day

                Have a good day everyone.

                  No snow here, thank goodness.

Pleased to hear Storm has settled back at his day care. I wonder if there are any dogs who re-act to the man.

I have just rung the opticians, they are going to see me on Thurs. I was a bit late ringing to be seen today. My eczema is being a nuisance, I have some cream but it doesn't seem to be helping. I don't do much washing up, mainly use the dishwasher but I must get some gloves. I don't normally suffer to much but it has been a nuisance this winter.

Will you be building a snowman Gemini?

Plant, it's too slushy for snowmen! GS threw some big snowballs at the kitchen window though. He's back inside warming up now, gloves etc drying on the radiator.

Plant, I was at the doctors yesterday for the eczema, it has almost cleared now but she said it could flare up again. She told me to keep rubbing the vaseline cream on. Not to let it dry out. I have never had it before at all.

Plantaholic my DDs offices are over 4 floors with over 300 people working a percentage of them are employed via an agency and the telephone operators are youngsters 18/25yrs and they are really daft according to DD they just walk into different areas without thinking and she spends most of the day telling them to keep out her work space when they have problems with calls, she is a trainer & team leader but any questions should be made by email not personal contact hence the cross contamination problem.

You are so clever doing your quiz Gems I miss going to our local pub on a Tuesday for the quiz and meeting up with friends I have never won a quiz at all but praise the people who organise it they spend such a lot of time setting it up.

My new Hotter shoes arrived this morning the ones I got in their sale its like walking on air they are so comphy ideal for driving I need lighter shoes for driving I cant drive with boots on for some reason (funny woman)

I had a doorstep visit from my friend Margaret yesterday she was collecting for The Birkenhead Kennels and I passed her the money I had raised in Js name from the things I sold on FB Market place he would have been so pleased at the amount I raised , I have a few more things to get rid of which will leave me with some extra space thank goodness.

Its dull and damp here today but I can't say it is really cold I am going to take my car to the car wash whilst I am out shopping all the snow we had last week has made it so dirty its only 5mins away so I will be there and back quickly and won't see anyone whilst out.

I have decided to replace the garden shed we bought when we first moved into the bungalow, first I need to clear it out as there are half tins of paint etc the things my J kept is unbelievable (paint for touching up don't you know)fancy me not knowing that girls? I am going to replace the wooden shed with one of hard plastic ones where the roof doesn't dip when it gets wet they sell them at B&Q it will match the storage unit I have outside for storing my bins and front garden watering cans I will get one of my DGSs to put up new shed he can pretend he is playing lego can't he ??
                        Keep Calm,You're Fabulous

Damp and very mild here today. We had super shiny new green bins delivered this morning so I am going to do some pruning and attempt to cut back the Passion flower. That was always P’s job so I need to tackle it soon.

I have t done much over the last few days, Sorted out the book shelves and now have a box of books to take to the charity shops when eventually they open again. I have finished some socks for DGD, her birthday soon, and caught up with some reading and drawing. Can’t wait for the better weather, getting fed up with all this now and really miss contact with people

edited: thank you for the lovely ecard, really cheered me up xx.

Plant my eczema plays up in the winter too , I wonder why ?

Glamm we are talking about renewing our shed , ( discussion been going on all year )
Trouble is like your J its full of stuff and its the task of emptying it out that's the problem , Its huge , the stuff he has in there is mind boggling , Of course nothing can be thrown away as it might come in handy
I think we would have to put everything on the lawn and cover it over till this one was down and new one up , that's a job and a half then the fear of stuff been stolen , I will have to make him a camp up so he can sleep outside with it all

Enfys The excitement of new bins how are you coping hahah ,
I wouldn't know where to start Pruning back Passion flower , did you watch P when he did it so you know where to prune ?

This weather is making this lock down worse isnt it , keep going its got to get better , well thats what im telling myself xx

Enfys - new green bins! That is so exciting. You've certainly been busy knitting, sorting out bookshelves, drawing and reading. Please can we see some of your drawings in Creative Grannies?

What to do with all the stuff in the shed while you put up a new shed is one of life's problems! DS1 put up a shed for the contents of his garage when they were having an extension done - and it's still there, still half full! We had two small sheds which OH replaced with one large shed for his wood turning workshop. Some of the contents of the old sheds went to the dump, but the rest he moved into our dining room!!! Needless to say, I wasn't at home (I was looking after GS1 while DIL was in hospital having DS2). I couldn't believe my eyes when I returned home a few days later - and the room stank of 'stuff in sheds' for ages. I'm sure my OH sees the house as an extension of his garage and his shed!

Glamm - your Hotter shoes sound perfect.

Oma - the weather must improve soon, surely!

The shoes sound great Glamma. A no paint plastic shed is an excellent move I think!
I'm quite envious of the shiny green bin Enfys!
I agree Oma, rubbish weather makes everything worse. I also agree that things are going to get better!

GS and I kept occupied today. We took him home after tea as we wanted to see the new house! They gave us a tour. It's lovely, really good indoor and outdoor space for the family . I look forward to being able to socialise there properly.
OH is upstairs in a golf commitee zoom meeting. We will watch TV when she's finished.

Click and Collect tomorrow as we couldn't get a delivery slot. Ooh the excitement of a trip out!!
