We can't find the laptop charger anywhere! We think GD must taken it by mistake. She brings her laptop to do her school work.
DD is looking into it

I came on here about 3 hours ago to catch up and post, but ended up having a very long chat with DS1 instead. He's keeping well and busy enough. He was saying his excitement this week was putting some shelves up in the airing cupboard. Our family certainly knows how to live the high life!
I've got to take Cooper back home in a minute, so I'll catch up later. At least the rain has stopped - I think it was due to pour down all day, but in fact it's been quite sunny.

Sunny and mild here today Daisy. I was a bit disappointed with my ENR count, it has been steady for ages but it was up today. Tablets adjusted and have to go back in three weeks.
I have started my 8th lockdown knitting.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
Its been a funny sort of day today, this morning it was raining and from lunch time the sun shining and quite warm really, now it is hail stoning again what is going on with the weather.?
My son & his wife are not too poorly with the virus he say's he is just so tired and sleeping alot he is a sweetheart not worrying me so there is no chance of me seeing him at the front door for his birthday he is staying away until they get the all clear.
Our hospital has reported that they have had covid wards increased from 4 to 10 since xmas its so scary for the nurses and staff I wonder how they cope with the long long hours they are working I feel so sorry for them.Arrow Park is the hospital where the people from Whu Han where sent last January for their isolation period,I wonder how those people are now? all well I hope.
My DDs office floor has been closed down for deep cleaning after 44 people tested positive just 3 days after she returned to work after isolating for 10days after being tracked & traced by that app thing she has on her phone.
Plant - I'm sorry your ENR count was up. Fingers crossed it will have gone back down when it's checked in three weeks.
Glamm - I'm relieved to hear your DS and his wife aren't too poorly. It is frightening when you read about hospitals more than doubling their Covid beds. I was thinking about those people who were isolated at Arrow Park last year. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but if we had isolated all flights into the UK back then we might be in a different position now, but we had no idea at first how massively infectious the virus is. I hope your DD is ok going back to work.

Good morning. Doesn't look bad out there weatherwise.
Plans for today. Going for my jab.
Then on to the garden centre for an hour, will get a takeaway there.
Followed by supermarket shopping.
Got a darks wash on just now.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Good morning Nanto /Ladies ,
It isnt a bad morning here either Nanto damp but a little brighter than it has been ,
I have a light wash on , not many darks so will leave them till tomorrow ,
Is it just you getting your jab or is hubby getting his too ?
Had a very long chat by text with my niece during the night we were still chatting at 3am she couldn't sleep so had text to see if I was awake and I was
Not a lot on today everything is done
There is a Robin sitting on the railings that divide my drive from next doors its been there ages ,
I think there must be little insects around as it keeps pecking under the top rail .
He doesn't seem like he is moving any time soon
Have a good day ladies i will pop back and see what your all doing later xx
Nan2, we need graphics like that these days to let us know what day it actually is! My DD's FIL was very impressed with the efficiency of the jab system when he had his, so I hope it's the same for you today.
Glamma, hopefully your family will get through this without problems. They say one in 3 have no symptoms (like my mum) so we can see how easily it is spreading due to that.
Daisy, my OH has been saying all along we should have either closed borders or made incomers isolate. When our friend's great niece returned to New Zealand in the summer (having been 'trapped' here through Lockdown 1) she had to isolate in a hotel for 2 weeks, it was compulsory.
Plant, my friend who is 80 is on warfarin and his numbers have been all over the place recently. He has been having to have his bloods every few days, but last time they let him go 2 weeks. I hope yours is better next time. Adjusting the tablets will probably fix it.
I have the laptopcharger. I will elaborate more on a new thread!!
DD1 has had yet another covid test yesterday (her 3rd or 4th) Hopefully just a cold and it will come back negative like the other times.
No plans today, but as it is fine we may go for walk.
Have a good day everyone.
I hope the non posters are doing well. Hang in their ladies.

Morning ladies.
Dull and overcast here.
Sorry I’ve not been here much lately,I don’t really know why but I’ve been popping in from time to time.
Today I must go and get the TV guide from the local shop and then have a walk. I’ve been trying to walk for about an hour each day.
I’ve been invited twice for a Covid jab but had to turn down both times as they were to be at our branch surgery 7/8 miles away and I have no way of getting there. Hopefully they will start to do them soon at my local surgery which is literally 5 minutes walk away. Very frustrating!
I hope everyone is as well and safe as they can be. Take care of yourselves
Lovely to hear from you Clover, enjoy your walk. I hope you can get a vaccine soon. they are not doing vaccinations at our doctors but I can drive atm. How are your family? I hope they are all keeping well.
I have no plans but I did spot some (Oma close your ears) cobwebs on the coving in the SR so will get the long handled tickling stick out later. Weather here not very inviting, I think we are forecast snow.
