        Good morning ladies, and Storm!
        Cold, white and frosty here.

Mimi Trump is a psychopath. We could all see that from day 1.
I hope you get fast relief form those painful mouth ulcers. Corsodyl mouthwash is specifically for mouth and gum disorders, and works. My dentist advised it years ago. I always have a bottle in in case of any gum soreness or ulcers. I hope the treatment you have come does the trick, but if not consider that.
Nana, we have bought things from people's houses safely. I bought face masks from a lady who makes and sells them. OH has bought two lots of jigsaws. Sellers leave the items outside in a recycling box (or any box with a lid) and buyers either leave the cash in there in an envelope, or pay by bank transfer.
Buyers can then leave the items somewhere for the advised 72 hours before using them if they like. Go home, wash hands, all safe.
Glamma, you can still get Farley's rusks. We bought some last year (as we love them!!)
Oma, don't go out to the bin! Our local hospital reported 40 patients coming in with broken bones from falling on the ice in one day recently

Well, I must get showered and dressed now. GD and GS2 will be here in an hour. They are doing half an hours school work at 9 then coming here. GD has my ex therapy room as her school room so she and her laptop will be up there for part of the day. DD added me to the school's homeschooling FB group so GS and I can do some stuff.

One of our 3 friends who work in hospitals had the first part of her vaccine yesterday. Good news, I hope the others have theirs very soon.

        Have a good day everyone.

Mimi, I hope you are getting on top of those ulcers, must be very painful

Oma, does Storm's nose really change?

How Trump ever got voted in is a mystery, I suppose he was able to buy his way in. He certainly is showing his true colours now.

Frosty here, my bedroom clock had decided it was time to Spring forward the time. It was showing an hour earlier than it really was but it got me out of bed, I only realised when I saw the kitchen clock. I have a Zoom stretching class at 10.30 with our Aqua instructor and a Zoom WI chat this afternoon. I have had several phone calls from friends checking up on me and we have a Village Care group who phone me regularly. I have been unable to get a click and collect until the end of the month but have managed to get a delivery slot next week. I shall need some veg.

Yes Plant his nose goes pink in the cold months and black in the summer ,
Its called Snow nose , only goes pink when the weather gets really cold so wouldn't be surprised if it does snow now

What nice people checking on you , its a very good idea ,
we have had a few calls from our local council to see if we need help in any way since March ,
B being on the shielded list they check on all on that list apparently .

We have a regular slot with Asda for a Friday morning but the delivery charges have shot up this week .

Oma, thats hardly fair is it,charging more for delivery slots . I think the bigger the company the smaller the compassion

GD1 has just been to the hospital and they are going to admit her on Sunday and induce her, they do not want the baby to get any bigger. The baby is in the right position but the head is not engaged. I am not a fan of this but they have to take their advice. Tomorrow she has to report in to get a Covid test. Just gone with her mother to see the midwife at the surgery a routine appt. that was cancelled last week.

Yes! I just set myself the challenge of saying 'good morning' before 12 o'clock - and it was already 11.59!!! (We have to find our entertainment where we can, don't we!!)

Nanto - what a pretty avatar! thank you.

Mimi - poor you, those mouth ulcers sound agonising. Do you know the exact component in the toothpaste? If so it might be worth contacting the manufacturer as that is a very extreme reaction. I do hope you got a few hours sleep after such an awful night. xx

Nana - I'm mystified by your clock still being an hour ahead after Gem reset it for you. I wonder if you could test a theory for me? Next time you post, make a note of the actual time, hit "Post Reply" (the red button, bottom right) and then leave that thread completely by clicking on "Forums" (Top left, immediately under our logo). Go back into the post you noted the time on and see if it's correct, or an hour ahead. I think it may just be a sequencing of processing in the software - but it's just a theory!)

Plant - it seems to be the season for errant clocks! The little digital clock I have on my bedside table has gone off at 6 am the last three mornings. If I can't stop it doing that, I'm afraid it curtains for the poor little thing! You are going to be doing the Zoomies today exercises and WI. Will someone get veg in for you to keep you going until you get your delivery?

Gem - I'm sure it's lovely having GD there for the day. Is she enjoying remote school work? Our GD1 had three really good school sessions yesterday, including a PE lesson. Her mum was glad they'd tidied up the girls' playroom after the Christmas and birthday chaos!

Oma - I hadn't heard of snow nose, so Googled it. I literally had to go and look at Eva's usually black nose (with one tiny grey dot) to check hers and hers is still black, so I wonder if it affects other breeds beside huskies. Then I remembered Cooper had been to the vets yesterday. He had a bout of dermatitis a few months ago and they thought it was the same again. but it wasn't itchy. The vet said not - they've been seeing quite a lot of this sort of patchiness on very short/thin coated dogs since the cold weather started, and they think it will just return to normal colour on its own as the days get longer. I've never heard of that before.

I haven't watched the news from American, but it's beginning to sound like a joke country. I hope things settle down soon.

Sorry, Plant and Glamm - I didn't see your posts until after I'd posted.

Glamm - I'm glad Pops is a bit better, but as you say, best to get her checked. It might save a bit of time if you take a urine sample in as well - if you can collect one. It's something I always hope I'll never have to do with Eva - she squats very low to the ground and likes her privacy!

Plant - I think induction methods are much gentler these days than when we were having our babies, and if the baby is quite large it might enable your GD1 to have a normal delivery instead of a Section. I'm sure she will be fine, but I think all us grannies will be joining you in a great big sigh of relief when she is born. Have they chosen names for her yet?

Storm is very very thick double coated .

Plant I hope she has a easy labour ,
im not a fan of inducement I know what I went through by being induced , but things are so different as Daisy said these days not like 40 years ago

Im sure she is ready for this baby to be born she will be so tired by now .

Glamm maybe its a water infection poor Poppy

Gem has GD finished her school session ? being in your therapy room means she has peace to get on with it .
Daisy I didn't realise they were doing PE classes too , .

When I have time later ( busy GC day) I will tell you of the texts between a New York friend and myself earlier today regarding the dangerous idiot Trump.
