Grauntie, you are in the wars recently, wishing you to be much better soon!
Oma I can imagine the embarrassment at the sofa shop! In hospital reluctantly my mum asked me in a loud voice 'Is that lady dwarfed?' Meaning the young nurse doing the drugs round. She was shortish and wideish, but nothing unusual. I know our NHS isnt in the best state, but I don't think they have taken to employing people of below average stature as nurses.
FQ, a full day of little grandchildren is exhausting!
Plant I heard on the radio that Waitrose were not giving a Christmas bonus this year.
We have been nowhere today!āA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.ā ā Unknown

Her latest yesterday was she's sick of those paedophiles getting in the house , she meant centipedes In fact they were not even Centipedes they were wood louse
Or Durex Batteries of course Duracell
Gem they say things so loud too dont they hahaha
Plant i saw about Waitrose too , seems silly getting new uniforms when they cant have a well earned bonus ,
A bonus would come in very handy with a new baby on the way , such a shame .

Good morning everyone.
Oh Nan2 you must be exhausted. I hope you can take it easy today.
A lovely sunny morning here. My bites are still red and itchy, but less so. Each bite area seems to have two punctures, so no wonder it's making my body react so much. FQ, we do have the 1% hydrocortisone cream thanks, its good.
Library afternoon for me.
Have a good day everyone.āA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.ā ā Unknown

Good Monday morning, Nanto and all our Grannies.
Nanto - I don't feel quite as bad as your friend in the graphic, but not far off, and tired after a busy day yesterday. I hope you've got an easy day today. xx
Grauntie - poor old you! You're certainly in the wars - unfortunately whip lash injuries don't show immediately. Sending you very gentle, socially distanced hugs. I hope OH is still looking after you well. xxx
Gem - ouch. Whatever bit you certainly did a good job. I hope the cream and anti-histamines work. I find the best insect repellent is my OH - he's always gets bitten to death and they leave me alone.
On the subject of getting words wrong my mother always used to feed her houseplants Baby Biro and my auntie did a Gordon Blue cookery course.
Plant - my DIL who works for Waitrose doesn't even get a new uniform. But it does seem silly to spend money on things like that and all the expense of changing their logos etc to include the word Partnership!
No plans for me today apart from the group dog walk this evening. Sadly it will probably be the last one as the evenings are getting too dark. The trainer is hoping she'll be able to start running classes soon, but only beginners. She only has 4 dogs in a beginners class, so things like social distancing are automatic. I do hope for her sake she can start up again."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Good morning ladies , its very sunny but still cold at the moment ,
Nanto im with you very little sleep again ,
I dont sleep well at the best of times but my shoulder and arm is keeping me awake ,
no place i can lie to ease the pain , ended up on the sofa again with cushions propping it up
Gem i get bitten all the time and when we were in Serrento some years back i asked at reception for the nearest chemist to get something for the bite ,
The local girl on the desk told me not to waste my money but to put Toothpaste on every two hours till it stopped itching ,
I did and it worked , not sure about this long after the bite though but could be worth a try ,
Not doing much today all housework done i ironed yesterday and changed spare bed , Bedrooms could do with a hoover but cant be bothered at the minute .
B is making me a new radiator cabinet for sitting room so he will be making a mess outside and in the shed cutting MDF , the dust clings to everything
Got to have mess before order i suppose and i want this one renewing so cant complain ... Well i can but no one listens to me ...
How are we ladies ? hope we are all well enough to enjoy the sunshine and doing gentle things xxxx

Wow Oma, you certainly could go on stage and tell MIL jokes, good job you and B can laugh about it.
Grauntie, I am so sorry you are suffering with a bad headache from whiplash. You are excused Word Chums if the eye is a problem.
I had a lovely lunch yesterday with DS and Dil, she loved her birthday presents, birthday tomorrow. GS1 was very attentive, we had a chat about his return to University. My son has taken early retirement, he will be 60 in December. Gets fed up with people asking him what he is going to do with his time.
Daisy, so pleased your son felt okay to travel, you should have a more restful day today.

I think there is a degree of scaring us into following the rules to avoid another total lockdown, but who knows?
It gets worse around here. No visits to mum, even outdoor and distanced. DD1's house sale has fallen through. Her buyer has backed out.āA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.ā ā Unknown
