Plant funny you saying that , B has stopped wearing his when we are out ,
its happened a few ties to him thankfully while in the car so aids havent been lost but he was worried about losing them so now wont wear them when we are out .

Lizzie your full of busy this week take it easy ,i know how tired out you get decorating , we went through the whole house in March it took me ages to get my energy back i ached everywhere

I didnt get the frames i was after they had very little stock , asked the young man on the shop floor he said they havent had any deliveries for a while , i came home and looked on line they not there either so i may not get them and have to look elsewhere ,
The ones i wanted held 3 photos and were mirror framed
I did get my quilt and a couple of sandwich trays and a silicon spatula ( that i didnt go in for ) so didnt come ut empty handed

WG i will give that a try you never know if something works or not till you try ,
Good luck with the sorting it can turnout to be a bigger job than you intended hahaha

GS1 coming for tea again so will have to sort that out he said surprise him so i might just give him Jam & Bread that will certainly surprise him hahaha
I bought him a Chocolate doughnut and a triple chocolate cookie for after , although he sometimes takes them home to eat later if he is full , he did with his cream horns on Monday and ate them while doing his homework .

Our beautiful sunny morning and turned into threatening grey clouds - so I'm typing with one eye on the weather as I've got two loads of washing out on the line.

Lizzie - decorating the toilet seems was a real wind-up by the sound of it. I bet you're glad it's all done! I don't mind painting, either walls or woodwork, but I can't do paper hanging, and I don't think I'll ever learn now!

It's such a problem with masks steaming up if you wear glasses, or you're having to go round shops half blind. I couldn't manage both - I have enough trouble not losing earrings when I'm taking my mask off! As for hearing aids, glasses and mask, my poor ears would just give up on all 3!!

WeeGranny - the tissue sounds a good idea.

Oma - I can just imagine J's face if you gave him bread and jam for his tea!

Plant - glad to hear your radiator's fixed. We have one that needs attention, too!

Oma, I do ache but at least it is almost finished, just a few things to hang on the walls tomorrow when the paint is dry. Such a small place to decorate, I felt like an acrobat at times!
I don't mind decorating Daisy, just the small space that was difficult, I have done all I want to do for now so the decorating steps are going back in the garage!!
WeeGranny, I will give the tissue a go with my mask as I walk round the shops all steamed up.
Oma, I can understand people having trouble with the hearing aids when taking their masks off, those things are so tiny.
I have an easy meal tonight, beetroot salad with smoked mackerel, the oily fish for my vitamin D.

I like both of those Lizzie
I'm having salmon. OH having chicken pie, there is a portion left from when we had it on Tuesday night.

Just heard my SIL's ( Martins wife) Grandad s in Hospital with Covid and its not looking good ,
They have him on oxygen but have asked the family if it comes to it should they attempt resuscitation
He's a old man in his late 80's

Clare's Mam his DD is a air ambulance paramedic she knows how brutal Resuscitation is so she's torn , would it be fair to put him through all that when he may not recover anyway
Such sad news , but you never know he could come through it .

Oh that is sad Oma. My mum had a DNR already, so we wouldn't have had to make any decisions like that when she was in hospital.
As you say, he could pull through. Many elderly people have. All best wishes to him.

Sad news Oma about C's grandad. Both mam and dad have got DNR, so that decision is made for us.

Looking a bit cloudy this morning. Not seen the weather forecast.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.

A dull start to the day here.
I have just ordered more face masks from a local lady selling via FB. They look lovely and are only £2 each. I like to match them to my clothes
GD and GS2 from school today. At least I can still do that. We had planned to have DD2 and family over for Sunday lunch (thankfully we hadn't bought the large chicken yet) and see my auntie next week. Both these are on hold now.
We invited friends over for a takeaway tonight as it will be the last time for weeks we can socialise. They suggested a meal out instead, so I am leaving it to them to see if we can get table.

Take care ladies and have a good Friday.

I hope Clare's GD pulls through without resuscitation Oma.

Sunny here, I am going to the tip before I go to Waitrose but I need to load all the paper and card into my car first.

There are so many face masks around now Gemini and at reasonable prices. I wouldn't want to make them for £2 even if they are made from scrap material. Haven't got around to matching them with my clothes yet. It looks like we will be wearing them for some time.

Need to get on so I will pop back later to see what you are all up to.

Good morning. Lovely sunny day here so far. I have been up doing a few jobs, just had a shower and paid the balance of our holiday cottage in December. We are keeping everything crossed we can go. If not we shall transfer the booking to next year, we need something to look forward to.

I am going to a friends for coffee this afternoon, will be nice to be out again.

I bought a new mask from Amazon, I was so fed up with my glasses misting up. So this one has an air vent and wire over the nose and it fits really well. So with the other couple I have aI think I’ll be fine. I go for plain dark colours and I agree with Plant, I think they will be around for a while.
