Very overcast earlier,but looking brighter now.
Not had any of the rain/storms that were predicted yet.

Morning ladies it’s a nice morning so far but a yellow warning out for thunder later , not sure they will arrive sky is clear .

We are venturing to The Metro centre for them opening first big place we have been so want to get there for opening at 9

slept really well last night make up for previous nights .

Hope Daisys son is better today and Enfys is as good as she can be at such a sad time xxx

I sometimes think talk of thunderstorms and Second Waves are sent merely to strike terror in us all.

GS1 day today. There are thunderstorms predicted again, so whether we go out, stay in the garden, or are confined to the house, who knows?!
Tonight I am eating out.
Two of my oldest friends have birthdays in May and July, mine is in June. We would normally have a meal out to celebrate each birthday. We are having one tonight to celebrate all three. I am excited to go out to a restaurant at last, and see my friends for the first time in many months At the same time nervous about it!

Murky here this morning but still very hot. Woke up to find several mozzie bites round my neck! Not a pretty sight and boy are they itchy!

I'm thinking about doing Yoga in the garden this morning. It'll be too hot in the room where I usually do it. No other plans for the rest of the day apart from hoovering.

Wish my appt. was earlier then 4.15, I was at the same hospital yesterday for my INR check and noticed a lot of people standing outside, I presume then that they will not allow my DD to wait inside for me. I went on my own last time and they said I should have someone to take me home so I agreed to sit in the cafe with a coffee and a paper for a bit. It is only a tiny op. I am not happy for her to wait in the heat. I am going to pop out to see if I can buy another fan as my GD1 has pinched mine. I slept quite well last night, not so hot.

Well we didn’t get to Metro got about 5 minutes into the journey and it was solid nose to tail traffic nothing moving

Turns out roads are closed both ways , a man has been on top of one of the bridges since 3am and they still trying to talk the poor man down , he must be in a poor state of mind

we managed to crawl along to the traffic lights at the roundabout and turn back home ,

My GNiece works by the Angel of the North she’s been on the road since 8.15 and although she’s only 5 miles away is still in traffic .

Hope they get this poor man down safely I can’t imagine what is going through his mind , I don’t know who he is but I want to cry for him .

Just had phone call from consultant , biopsy from Parathyroid back it’s nothing nasty just wonky and causing problems now it’s out I should start to feel the benefit.
The bloods I had done have gone missing so have to go for more but that’s not a problem ,

Its very hot at the moment , I did a hand full of ironing that was there , so glad wasn’t a pile it wouldn’t have been done in this heat

It's very hot here too, OH is on the golf course, GS and I are melting!
We are planning a circular walk in woods 5 minutes drive away this afternoon. Plenty of shade there, but if it's too hot we'll just come back.

That is good news Oma, In what way will you feel the effect of it's removal?

Plant it should stop the joint and muscle pain and the kidney infections I’ve had , plus the really bad tiredness I get although I can’t sleep ,
It can also cause brittle bones if untreated

Depression is a symptom too but luckily that’s never been a problem for me

I have just put up with them all for so long it wasn’t till my hair started to fall out I thought I had better find out what was wrong

I could even start sleeping better but I’m not expecting miracles
I hope it goes well with your treatment tonight ,

We did our walk. It's lovely and shady in the woods with plenty of seating dotted about. It was still very very hot though.
Im going out tonight and will need a second shower for sure. I would have had one as soon as I got in if GS wasn't here. OH had one as soon as she got in from golf.
