WG you'd be surprised at how many pairs of specs I found. The one's I couldn't see in have gone in a bag full of things for the Charity shop. I doubt any would suit your OH.😉
Daisy, I probably put them there in one of those "I'll put them here in this safe place" moments."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Good morning everyone. It's a late start for me this morning - had a lovely lie in, then had to rush round like a looney because we'd forgotten it was bins day!
It quite sunny here, although clouded over a bit now. If it stays dry I'll get some gardening done. OH was supposed to be going out tonight but it's been cancelled, so I'll have to rethink dinner - he wouldn't really appreciate garlic mushrooms on toast!
Just off for a shower - back later.

Morning Grans. Sunny here at the moment. Cheerful graphic Nan2, just what we need. Hope In-Laws are keeping well. Hope Dog behaves for you Oma. He is a love tho' so you'll enjoy your day. Gem, I'm sure you'll enjoy your day too with your GC. We're off to the shops later on.
Thinking of Clover & G today. I hope their meeting goes well.xx"Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Oma - what sort of cake would you like?
We've had a mostly sunny day today - the rain held off until this evening, so I've made the most of it and spent some time in the garden. I cut the lawn - with the cutters down one notch, which is great. I need to get it shorter so I can roll it flat. I spent ages weeding around and through a lovely perennial Phlox. It's got a beautiful scent and flowers for weeks through the summer into autumn, so I didn't want it getting choked with buttercups, docks, and other weeds. It had grown too spread out for the circular collar thingy it grows through to support it, so I chopped some of it off and replanted it in a pot for now. If it's ok, I'll plant it back in the garden next year in a different place.
I stood the pot in a bucket of water to water it throughly. Then, after I'd cleared up and put everything away, I went to empty the bucket of water on to a hydrangea - and the handle broke, the water spilled out all over me and I got soaked!
