Plant, I take more painkillers when I have a lot of planning going on!!
I want to see that film. I hope you enjoy it.
Daisy, it s bit of a pain having to wait in potentially all day. We have the same situation tomorrow and Friday, washing machine and dishwasher! They will narrow it don on the actual day though.

I had a missed call when I was in the shower which I presumed was from mum and phoned her back. The sunroom roof is done so I will see that when I go. She sounded as though I said I was taking her to have her leg amputated rather than two small fillings but at least she didn't say she wasn't going!

Good afternoon. Seems that all those outstanding jobs are getting done. Not up to much today. On my own so I'll consider it a rest day.😉😁

Good afternoon. Very cold here and this morning we had snow! Just a light sprinkling but the car was covered.

You all sound very busy, we have just been pottering but went out for coffee this morning and I bought two new throws in Dunelm for the conservatory. Have given up the idea of getting new furniture so have brightened it up with new cushions and throws.

Off to dog sit soon, hope the snow stays away.

Plant - enjoy your lunch and film with your friend.

Gem - I think I'd need alcohol to see me through all that planning. Yes its a nuisance waiting in. Just before lunch they messaged to say it would be between 2.30 and 5, so a bit of a wasted morning. Well it would have been wasted, but the sun was shining and the wind was blowing and I'm sure some people would have thought it was a great day for drying sheets, but I saw the window of opportunity to cut the lawn. This is the first time this winter and it was so long I had to leave the blades right up. Still, it looks a little bit better, and I certainly got some fresh air!

Enfys - I'm amazed you had snow! It's been sunny here all day (so far). What colour throws did you get for the conservatory? I think Dunelm throws are good value, and I don't feel too guilty if I just want a change of colour. I hope Dexter is a good boy for you.

So it has been a wasted day. The chap arrived to do my windscreen - only to find he'd got the wrong one! Grrrr ..... So fingers crossed it doesn't shatter before Tuesday when they can come back.

Daisy hate when that happens , you wait around all day they come don't have the part or its the wrong part , you end up thinking of the things you could have done that day ,
Although you did get a first cut on the grass

B been to a Army buddy's funeral today his cousin who was in the same regiment as B picked him up at 1.30 they were back by 3 neither went to the wake ,
As usual there was a good turn out and British legion flag bearers and guard of honour were there ,

The family had a recording of the Last post as to have a live bugler there would cost £180 , I think that's shocking , funerals are expensive enough without charging that amount for a 2 minute performance ,
I understand they cant do it for free but maybe half that price would be fair .

                    Oh Daisy, how flippin' frustrating
                    Enjoy that rest day Nana!
Did you enjoy the film Plant? Lunch and film with a friend, my kind of afternoon!
We need more throws Enfys, I will look in Dunelm.

Well all good at the dentist. Mum had a clean and polish, and the 2 small fillings done. That should be it for 6 months.
The plastic sunroom roof is firmly back on. I removed the 2 rugs but need OH's help over the weekend to remove the extremely soggy carpet. It rained and snowed on it while the roof was off!
I have not been idle this afternoon. I made an apple crumble to take to DD3's when we go for tea tomorrow, and organised and printed for tomorrow's meeting.
I also found time to watch a Dr Who episode and listened to Sundays Archers omnibus

Sounds like a moving funeral Oma, was the deceased the same age as B?

Daisy, that was a let=down but at least you got the grass cut, Sil was eyeing ours last weekend, no doubt he will attack it soon.

Not sure about the film Emma, there was a lot of whispering and is was more like a stage play production. I enjoyed it but not sure about my friend but at least we had free tickets and had a look in M&S and Tesco.

Plant, DD3 and her OH, and my dear friends C and P will all look out for my mum. Hopefully my ex too, but he is less reliable!
I will also let her next door neighbour who is a FB friend of mine, know we won't be around for a couple of weeks.

Plant, they were originally, but pulled out few months ago. Getting married this year is one of the reasons.

Oma, good that your plumbing job was quick and cheap.
