Sun is shining now. Our internet went off at 10. We have a virgin box outside our house. They've been working on it all morning. Changed the bedding and washed it. Cleaned all upstairs. Made 3 corned beef and mash pies. 1 for dinner today and 2 for the freezer.

I have been to Thomas's and Sainsbury's in the village to do mums shopping.
I will take it over later. OH is going too to replace the broken fence panel from last weekend's storms.

Waiting list for the memory clinic in High Wycombe is quite a wait WG, the sooner they get the letter off the better. Pleased to hear your OH's bloods were okay. the weather at the moment is so unpredictable it is hard to make plans WG. Is your present number plate a memorable one or is it just that you can remember it
I am not surprised Storm doesn't want to go out in this weather, I have the cat in with me atm, he isn't keen on the weather outside.

A much quieter morning here after all the wind and rain but more is forecast. Nothing planned for today so time to get some jobs done I think.

A free day here, as my day with GD and GS2 was on Monday this week.
It is the opening of the panto booking for none card holders today. Some people are queuing outside already for the 10 am start. There is no need, as online booking opens at the same time. Some of the cast will be there however, so they are going mainly for the party atmosphere Thank goodness is is a fine and dry morning, and not too cold!

Hope Plant's gum is suitably numbed by now and that she's not in too much pain afterwards. Also hope Enfys gets the all clear from her ECG.
Plant my number plate is a personalised one, so want to keep it. OH gave it to me for my 50th Birthday many years ago! Just the plate not a car sadly !
Appointment for Eye Clinic came this morning......2nd June at 8.20a.m! The referral was for an urgent appointment, so goodness knows how long you have to wait to for a routine one!
Calm before the storm here. Seems it will be more rain rather than winds this time. Roll on Summer! DD is off to Cornwall today, just hope they get there before the storm hits land.
