Afternoon all.

We we went to town today to get some things from Iceland.I’d planned to go Thursday but the forecast is dire and OH actually woke earlier than he usually does so I decided to go today. I would have preferred to go alone as OH walks so slowly now and I’m worried he will fall even though I have hold of him. However when given the option he wanted to come with me. I was constantly on edge so came home as soon as possible.

All you ladies have been busy and some of you very energetic even in the early hours

Hope Enfys and Plants medical / dental visits went well.

Clover - you're right to grab the opportunity to get things done when you can. Does G use a walking stick or frame - would that help (and save you a bit of worry)? I hope you got most of what you needed - and perhaps it was quieter today than it will be nearer the week-end.

I hope the dental and doctor visits all went well, ladies.

Oma - I remember you talking about that fire when it happened. How amazing that they've managed to re-open within the year, and they are getting lots of bookings. Their reputation has certainly survived the disaster of the fire.


Gem - I keep thinking about little cat. I hope she's managed to eat a little and is enjoying being close to you. It's such a hard time, and not long since your lost her sister. I may not have chance to post in the morning, but you know you will be in my thoughts. xxx

I haven't felt much like posting but am reading the Chat.
Apart from an hour or so this morning she has had someone with her all the time. She has eaten small amounts, several times. She does walk about a bit but very wobbly so mostly we carry her. We need to support her shoulders to keep her upright when she's in the litter tray. She doesn't seem in pain though as far as we can tell , and has slept a lot and had lots of cuddles.
We are very sad about tomorrow but know it is the right decision. We don't want her to get any worse and suffer pain.

Very cold this morning.It felt cold before i even got out of bed. Not frosty though.

Shopping being delivered between ½8 and ½9.

Going to get towels and t towels in the wash,prepare dinner and get the ironing done.

Its wet and dreary out ,
I have Hairdressers at 10 then over to MIL's she wants the mattress turning on her bed been talking about it all week so we will do it today ,

Got a phone call to say my G nephew who is only 10 weeks is in Hospital with Bronchialitis (sp) such a worry at that age .

Gem's little cat is now at peace. The vet was very good and made it as easy as possible for them.

Thank you everyone, OH and I have cried a lot. Our dear little cat is at peace now. It was very quick and peaceful, with the vet she knew well.

This afternoon I have GS1's Christmas show, Born in a Barn to go to. This evening OH and I are going the Christmas concert of our friend who is a music teacher Its always lovely to see the children perform. Afterwards a group of us go out for a meal. So, I have things to concentrate on today.

Oma hope your GN isn't too long in hospital and recovers quickly from his illness.

Rain started here and the wind is blowing a hooley! Don't fancy going out but it's last reading this week and I've got their cards and a little pressie so needs must.

Apart from that not much else on today. There is some ironing waiting.......why is there always a pile of ironing waiting when there's only the two of us? And the decorations box could be put away until Twelfth Night which would make the room a bit tidier.

Oma I hope the little one soon recovers. Poor little thing but I’m sure he’ll be treated and better really soon.

I had a disturbed night as OH was in and out of the bathroom all night .Every time he stirred he was up and out. A very noisy helicopter was then hovering round and round for ages. I think it woke the whole village ,it was so loud and low. No idea what it was doing, looking for someone perhaps.
