Nanto - I've just had a look at the FB page of a friend who is a very good amateur forecaster and he says there has been more than double the November average rainfall. He says the model outputs for next week suggest cooler ,drier weather. Fingers crossed - our garden is under water.
Grauntie - so glad you survived the invasion of the little people. I don't envy you driving on the M25 - I hate it, although I don't have to use it as often as I used to! Enjoy your day out tomorrow.

Good morning ladies.
Have a good trip Grauntie.
Daisy, I was falling sleep over some afternoon TV, but managed to stay awake all evening, which is rare!
Wet here but not actually raining Nan2. It has been so wet that the golf course is closed today.
As OH is just getting over whatever she had it will do her good to not play today.
Usual Mum Thursday for me, plus she wants her Christmas stuff bringing down.
OH will be at a golf club meal tonight, so meal for one at our house.
Have a good day everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning one and all. I'm nervous about saying this but (deep breath) the SUN is shining.
For once, I've got nothing much planned. OH is going out this morning to see a sick friend, then again this afternoon to see another sick friend and then again this evening to a meeting. If it dries up a bit I'll take Eva for a walk in the Forest. She's not keen on walking in cold, claggy mud and neither am I!
Gem - it will probably do OH good to have a restful day after feeling poorly, but I hope she enjoys the meal tonight. I hope your Mum's ok. Does she look forward to Christmas?
Nanto - that looks like another tasty meal from your magic slow cooker. I'll have to cook for lunch-time today, but don't know what yet.
Enfys - I hope your neck's feeling better.
Plant - has the soreness from your crown gone now?

Gem S needs to take it easy even just another day will do her good , how are you is your knee any better ? bet your feeling less stressed now you know DD ok xxx
Grauntie hope you have a good time in Kent on your visits xx
How are all the ladies who were feeling under the weather and their OH's ? hope your all a lot better .
Well I have done washing and got that dried and stood doing a pile of ironing get it all out of the way , more than usual today for some reason .
Had a bit of a night with my Neighbour , our elderly neighbour rang to say she was banging on their door and window at 10.30 asking for a cigarette , they don't smoke and wouldn't open the door to her as I told them before not too .
I was in my PJ's so by time I pulled some clothes on she had gone indoors , so I rang her Dad he rang back to say Crisis team were on their way ,
That's when all hell broke loose
Two women turned up knocked on her door and then legged it as fast as they could , she came out all guns blazing with something in her hand screaming and swearing ,
One woman managed to get in the car and she started bashing the car windows and windscreen as she screamed her head off ,
The other woman ran as fast as she could down the street . They managed to get away and she stormed inside ,
About 2am 4 turned up but the house was in darkness so I assume she was in bed so they went away ,
I expect they will be back today .
While I was in shower this morning she knocked on the door and apologised for the noise and carry on B answered and just said ok but you should be saying sorry to our elderly neighbours who are on the other side of her and hear everything through the wall , he then just closed the door on her .
I didn't go out last night as she seemed way past anything I could do .
Her episodes are getting frequent now she really needs something doing if she is constantly going to stop taking her meds
Shes out there again now shouting at the man over the road , its getting worseLast edited by Oma; 28-11-2019, 10:09 AM.Im not fat just 6ft too small

It's a terrible situation with your neighbour Oma. As you say very worrying and upsetting for all especially the elderly neighbours.
Thanks for asking, yes GS seems fine now and DD given all clear, so my worry level is at a manageable level“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

I have just been to the doctors, my atrial fib. stopped for a time but it is going again. Haven't met this young lady doctor before but very impressed. It was decided that she will have a word with the heart specialist who prescribed the tablets I take. Very impressed with her, she checked everything and all is well otherwise. I am fed up with it. I had to miss my Aqua, but pleased I have seen someone.
Nanto, you make my mouth water every day.
Oma, I hope something will be done for your neighbour, very sad really.

Morning, Oma, what a carry on with your neighbour, she shouldn't be allowed to live on her own really. They will wait for something to happen then decide she shouldn't be on her own.
Rain here early on, dry at the moment, been to do the coffee, the voluntary work I do, not busy enough for 2 of us though, they are going to change it all after the Christmas break.
DS1 got back from his travels last night, England, Germany and Switzerland this time!!!! He phoned to ask if the girls can stay here on Monday evening, at last, I will get them both for the evening!!!! I had ordered vouchers for meals at one of those pancake places, all kinds of fillings, not my thing really but they will enjoy it so I have just got booked for Monday evening, it will be a busy Monday for me, gym early on, then coffee making, pool in the afternoon then on to pick them both up so maybe a good idea to use the vouchers!

Maybe your tablets need changing Plant.
Your son had a full trip Lizzie!
My back is so painful today ☹️ I have just taken some painkillers so hopefully it will ease a bit. I presume this is due to the knee physio yesterday. Doing my mum's shopping may be a challenge.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Well you all sound busy again. Plant I'm glad you're getting that AF sorted & it's just something as simple as regulating your meds. Oma I know it's no fun for you but it sounds like the poor woman needs sectioning by what you've said. I always fear for the members of the Crisis team. It was part of my DD2's job a few yrs back now & they have to be so careful. They usually worked along side with the police tho. I hope the neighbour gets the help she needs. Lizzie how old are your GDs? Sounds a good plan.
Getting Christmas wrap etc from the loft later on. I need to do some Christmas prep, as I don't know how December will pan out. I'm only hoping that I can still make our York meet up.

Morning ladies
Sorry I’ve not been posting but going through a bad patch again. Having a difficult time with OH plus the roof repairs are going to be more more extensive than predicted.Thought they would be finished today but more scaffolding and repairs needed. Just feeling stressed and tired of everything.I’m already taking anti- deps
Hope you’re all in a better place than me at the moment. Sorry to be so negative.Things can only get better- I hope.
