Got to the hospital clinic at 11.30 for my 11:45 app't. The nurse said at midday that the 10:30 app't had just gone in. Still waiting. I don't mind tho as she gives everyone as much time as they need.

Thinking of your DD Gem. These DD's of ours are independent young women❣

Afternoon ladies , we are just back ,
Gem hope S is feeling better this afternoon , and your DD is ok , how are you doing too ? so much going on you must be on alert constantly

Enfys no getting older isn't fun is it , have you tried a heat pack or water bottle ? xx

Nana let us know how you get on xx

Plant my floor needs washing but we have the dog tomorrow and it hasn't stopped raining for days , so muddy paw marks again tomorrow , I will wait till he goes home tomorrow night .

Had a lovely mini break , lovely hotel excellent food and when we were having pudding last night the waiter came with a Birthday card and a gift of a nice key ring for B , wasn't that nice
B told me to say thank you for all his Birthday wishes

Just had to empty case and put it into airing cupboard to dry, on the way home a big bottle of Johnsons Baby bath had leaked out . on the way there I had put it in a plastic zip lock bag but coming home I just put it in as it was and it had not been closed tight , luckily it leaked onto clothes that needed washing anyway but also on the base of the case.

I also got a phone call from my next door neighbour at 9pm saying my neighbour with the mental health problems was in the street shouting ,
Nothing I could do about it from Harrogate so told her to ring police ,
then when I got home the elderly couple on the other side of her called me in and told me what had been going on.

I don't mind helping but im not responsible for her and if im not there they will just have to phone the police and SS

          Welcome home Oma.
It was lovely for the waiter to give B a card and a keyring.
Has your next door neighbour stopped taking her meds again.

Thank you for all of GD2 birthday wishes yesterday.

Thank you so much for your good wishes everyone. All fine with my DD, which is a massive relief to all

I went to my physio appointment. He showed me some exercises and gave me a sheet to bring home. Go back in January.
I collected our prescriptions and took mums round as she seemed unable to wait until tomorrow for her Diazepam. She didn't have her shopping list made for tomorrow so I will need to speak to her on the phone again.
OH is a lot better. We are cosied up now watching TV catch up with a celebratory mince pie!

I'm so glad you both had a lovely night away Oma. Awful to be bothered about your neighbour though when you're not even there!
I hope your poor neck is a bit easier now Enfys.
I hope Mimi isn't still suffering.
Try to take it easy today Daisy.

Nanto sounds like it. She went to a cousins this morning and this cousin was so concerned about her behavior that when she left in the car they phoned the police.
Police have just been to see if she is at home they have put a missing persons report out for her so other police are looking for her car. Police officer said she shouldn't be driving they may have to take car off her .

Gem good news about DD now you can relax yummy mince pies just the thing for a miserable day xx

Poor woman Oma. She sounds as tho she needs more help from SS. Glad you & B enjoyed your little break, even tho it wasn't without any hiccups. Gem what a relief about your DD.

I got to see neurologist eventually, discharged, then 45mins in pouring rain waiting for a bus home. Who cares ... one less Clinic, yippppeeee!

That was a nice gesture Oma from the hotel to B

That is one clinic that you can cross off your list.

At the moment I have a hospital dental appt. and am waiting for an appt. to go to the hospital for them to look at the BCC on my face. but that will not be before Christmas.

I hope you don't get concerned about your BCC Plant. I seem to remember you've had others. Hope you can get it sorted soon.🤞

                      Evening all.
As we were about to leave for town this morning I had a message to say that my cousin’s husband had died late last night.
It seems it was really sudden. I never met her husband but I know he was a really nice man .

We went to town today to do some more Christmas shopping and I am pleased to say that I have almost finished. Just a few odds and ends to do . I haven’t gone as far as to have written out Christmas cards or wrapped presents but I am getting there.
We decided to pop in the pub and have a meal and our neighbour was there eating her lunch so we joined her. We had a lovely time chatting and generally putting the world to right. It rounded off the day just nice.

Oma I know you are concerned about your neighbour but honestly you and B deserve a break , phoning you when you are away is a bit much. What did they expect you to do ?

Nana the rain doesn't matter does it when you have a bit of good news .

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Mimi that's what I said to B. I'm not her family or social worker.
I know she responds to me but my Neighbor who phoned knew we were away. She thought I would phone my poorly neighbour and talk to her. Sorry but she has parents and a brother who are not far away.

My elderly neighbours that's different I would do anything to protect them if I was there.

Nana you don't mind when you know you don't have to go back

I have appointment for Parathyroid clinic on 13th then the ENT surgeon on the 23rd . Thankfully the 23rd appointment is at 8.30 on morning so won't be there all day

Nana, good news on being discharged. One less thing to bother about.

Goodness, I'm losing track of everybody's doctor and hospital appointments. I wish I could just make everybody better overnight. But then, we're lucky to have our NHS instead of having to worry about paying for treatment. I can't help thinking that earlier generations just had to put up with so many ailments because there weren't treatments available.

Gem - you're making me think I might have to start thinking about "That Time" soon!

Oma - I'm glad you and B had a lovely night away. How kind of the hotel to mark B's birthday.

I've had a lazy afternoon, mainly dozing in front of the tv. I'm sure they cut programmes short - I was watching Escape to the Country and I swear I only blinked and a garden makeover programme was just finishing!!

Daisy, the invasion wasn’t bad at all. They were very good. I have had another dose today as I went to collect the boys from school. It was a horrible journey there though, the M25 isn’t nice on a good day, let alone in the bucketing rain!
Off to Kent do a bit of family and friend visiting tomorrow, and I’m looking forward to it.
Hope all goes well with all the appointments, glad to hear you have one less now Nana.
                                Sleep tight all.
