Good morning (just) from me! it's not raining - yet!

Enfys - how frustrating that your hobbies give you neck pain. . Yes, I'm sure keeping on the move will help - but gently, don't overdo things.

Mimi - your attack of cystitis sounds horrendous. I'm incredibly lucky never to have had it, but I do know quick action is needed, so hopefully the powders from the chemist are doing their job.

Lizzie - the leak sounds dreadful, but it's a good job you spotted it when you did. Thank goodness everyone seems to have co-operated to get it fixed.

Oma - I didn't realise those step and rail thingies were dangerous for getting in and out of the bath. Well done to your DD for setting the record straight. I mainly use the walk in shower, but we've got a lovely bubble bath which I can luckily still get in and out of, but it is quite a step down getting out. I laughed at Mimi and her bubbly foot spa, but that's what happens to our Air bath if you put too much bubble bath in - it's like the magic porridge pot spilling all over the bathroom.

Ooops - I don't know what happened but for the first time since we got fibre broadband the signal disappeared.

Nana - more power to your elbows and needles in the battle of the quilt! Can I be your cheer leader? I hope the dental physio goes well.

Gem - enjoy your coffee with your friend and her mum. Is GS2 ok now?

Lizzie - I hope your results come back clear.

      Nanto - dinner sounds delicious.

My OH has just gone to do the supermarket shop, bless him, and I am trying to keep Cooper from wagging his tail too much!

Daisy, I think GS2 is OK now. I will speak to his mum later.

Enfys, whenever we do anything which keeps us in one one position for long we are supposed take regular breaks and move in the opposite direction. For example look up when you have been looking down, and vice versa. Left after right, and so on. I do NOT always practice what I preach!

Good luck with the quilt battle Nana.

I have steamed the floors and caught up with online banking. I need petrol before I go to my friend's, so I am setting off soon. Talk to you all later xx

Nanto - glad you enjoyed dinner. I've got to cook before dog training tonight! It will be a bit of a rush.

Gem - you've got more done today than I have. I seem to have wasted today, and now I'm off to collect the girls.

I had a text from OH saying she was in bed feeling queazy. She felt sick this morning, but felt a bit better so ate breakfast. She went off to golf for 10 and hadn't come back when I set off at 1.30 so I presumed she was OK. I can't fit anyone else in to worry about atm!

I took GS to she shop for a treat on the way home from school. He chose a Magnum. Brrrrr!

Just been to JL to return some jumpers, I have been buying these jumpers for some time but suddenly the arms (of the jumpers) are too long. Shan't bother now. GD wanted some fitted sheets so we went together and stopped for a cuppa and cake.

Sorry to hear OH is not feeling great Gemini, as you say you have enough to worry you. It is probably a 24 hour thing, keep well away, you don't want it.

Mimi, cystitis, not a pleasant thing, some people are prone to getting it. I know our dear friend Zizi was a sufferer. Hope it clears up soon, I didn't know you could get powders, it took two lots of antibiotic to clear up the last infection I had.

Thanks Gem, it’s much better today and I am trying to move around more. Hope your OH feels better soon. There are some funny bugs around.

Its been very dreary today, so apart from the supermarket shop we have stayed indoors. Lots of little jobs done which is good. Just had a long chat on the phone with an old school friend so a nice catch up and we are going over there after Christmas which will be nice as everything is a bit flat then.

Good luck with the quiet Nana.

Rain has eased off a bit now. It was pouring down when we got up at 6.
According to the forecast, its going to rain till tomorrow night.
Friday will be very cold with plenty of sunshine.

Gem, hope OH is feeling better.

Dinner today,is jacket potatoes with prawn mayo and coleslaw.

Mornin Nan2. I wake early but don't get up. Too warm & cosy in my lovely bed. Wish I could curl up & drift off again but it doesn't happen lately.

OH meeting up with work mates. Some are/aren't retired but are a fun gp. He needs it. Another hospital appointment for me today to see the neurologist. Hoping to be discharged today.

Hope your OH is feeling better Gem. Is it today your DD goes to have her check up? Good luck if it is. Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning Nan2, and all who pass this way today.

A very misty start to the day here.
OH stayed in bed and slept all evening and managed have a good nights sleep. Feeling quite a bit better this morning.
I have my knee physio appointment at 12. I also need to drop off mum's prescription.
All my thought are with DD1 however , at the breast clinic. Although I and her sister, and presumably her OH all offered to go with her she is going alone.

I hope everyone's day goes well.

Everything crossed for your DD today Gem 🤞

Had a rough night, woke up at 2.30 feeling very hot and my neck was so painful. In the end I took some paracetamol and had a drink and eventually was able to go back to sleep. I’m beginning to think it’s arthritis related, Getting old is no fun ☹️.

Facetimed DGD this morning, she is doing ok and luckily no fires in the area where she is.

OH is out this afternoon and this evening so I have lots of time to catch up on things.......or just sit and relax.

Have a good day everyone 🌞

Very late getting up, good job the phone rang to wake me up.

Thinking of your DD Gemini, I do hope the news is good. Pleased to hear S is feeling better.

I hope your neck feels better today Enfys. My Physio GS was checking out my painful shoulder yesterday, I will send him along.

That dinner sounds delicious Nanto, love a jacket potato.

Nothing planned today, apart from flicking a duster around, I am not going to wash the kitchen floor until this weather improves. If I don't get a move on nothing will get done.

                                Good morning everyone.

Gem - love and thoughts with you for DD. I hope today brings good news. I also hope OH is feeling better. As you say, you have a lot on your plate at the moment.

Enfys, poor you. It's awful when you have a bad night. I'm glad you got back to sleep though. Have you ever been to an osteopath - they might be able to help or at least explain what's causing the pain.

Nanto - if we have much more rain, we'll sink! Everywhere is waterlogged, and there's so much to do in the garden but it will have to wait.

Nana - fingers crossed the neurologist discharges you. How did the dental physio go yesterday?

Mimi - I hope your cystitis is improving.

Grauntie - how did the invasion of the GCs go at the week-end?

I've had a lazy start to the day. I was still tired after Whirlwind Tuesday, but feeling ok. Between downpours I've done a bit of tidying up in the greenhouse, and a bit of tidying up around the house while it's raining.
