Morning ladies, ,lovely graphic nanto. Up bright and early for our visit to DD today, we will take her out for lunch 🤞 Got a heavy load to take today her fresh laundry, her gifts and cake plus some tiger lilies, one of her favourites. Sun is shining and looks set to be a good day. Arranged face time with the girls not sure it's my best idea but we will see. Just wish she was closer and we could see her more often 😥.Exeter is quite a drag 1 train 2 bus rides. Can't quite believe my little girl is 45 today. Hope you all have a good day."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

Good morning ladies.
Cute graphic Nan2. I hope all is well with your in laws when you go.
Happy Birthday to your DD Libra. I hope she can enjoy the day despite her girls being away.
Have a lovely day Enfys!
You needed that sleep Oma. I wonder what you will bring back from the market? (A bag maybe??!!)
The Open Reach man is here about the phone line.
Later we are going to buy a new laptop, and take some coffee to my mum. She forgot to add it to her list yesterday, and neither she nor I could find any in her pantry.
Have a good Friday everyone.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning everyone. I agree, Nanto - I love summer, too!
Libra - I hope T does enjoy her birthday, despite not seeing the girls. I'm sure you will still make it special for her.
Enfys - enjoy your day. Wells is a beautiful little city and I'm sure you'll have an interesting day.
Oma - just as if you'd buy another bag!!! I wonder what Gem was thinking of making such a suggestion.
Gem - good luck with your laptop shopping. I've just remembered that some time ago John Lewis had a deal where you could try an iPad for a month and if you didn't get on with it you could return it for a full refund. I don't know if it applied to laptops as well or if it's still running, but worth checking if you're interested. I hope your Mum's ok.
Not quite sure what our plans are today, apart from tackling the jungle at the back of the house! If I let the grass grow any longer Eva will be disappearing into it.

Love markets Oma, fancy suggesting you might buy a handbag. You must feel better for that sleep.
Hope the in-laws are in good spirits Nanto, love the graphic.
Hope the lap-top shopping is successful Gemini, have you one in mind?
Enfys enjoy your day out, forecast is for a sunny day.
All the family home safely, GGS was very excited to be back. DS and Dil are at the airport for their holiday to Valencia. I had a bit of a fright in the night, heard a padding of feet thought we might have visitors in the loft and then suddenly there was one of the cats rolling on my bed. I took him back through to DD's utility where he had a cat-flap, he wanted to play. Came back to my bedroom and thought I must have shut him in my place last night but then discovered I had left my windows open when I drew the curtains, not a good idea when you live in a bungalow. then had a job to get back to sleep. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning all.
Libra hope T enjoys her birthday .
Gem any any closer to choosing a laptop.
Enfys hope you and P have a lovely day .
Didn’t sleep well last night . DS ( who you may recall has issues with lack of confidence and general shyness) rang late last night really excited as he has just been offered a new job.
It is in a restaurant in town. It’s within walking distance from where he lives . Where he works now is a 20 minute bike ride away and his hours were split shifts whereas this is an afternoon start working straight through to the evening. I am so pleased for him
Just waiting for Tesco grocery to arrive and then I must pop to the shop to get DS a congratulations card card.
Have a good day everyone
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Good news about your DS Mimi.
The cat obviously wants to be with you Plant!
Phone man has been here since early, just finished. We now have a working phone line! Hard work for him, it wasn't an easy job for him but he got to the bottom of it in the end
Now he has gone we are free to go out!
I have optimistically hung out washing, crossing fingers for no rain!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Afternoon all.
Hope everyone is having a good day and Libra’s daughter especially has a lovely birthday.
Work for me this morning but I’m extra tired today as we had a long day out at the National Botanical Gardens near Carmarthen yesterday. One bus a day calls there and one picks up but we still had 3 hours there so a lot of walking. We did go in the giant glass dome but it was SO hot in there we didn’t linger. We also saw a birds of prey flying show which meant we sat down for a bit but in the full sun. Luckily we had hats and sun cream on but it was very hot. People were using their umbrellas as sunshades. We took a picnic but competition for seats in the shade was strong The flowers were fantastic and there was a large area of just sweet peas in all colours of the rainbow. You could smell their scent before you could see them.It made a nice change to get out of the house.I had a bargain on admission prices as carers ( sadly that’s my role now) get in for free and it’s half price if you’ve travelled by public transport,so it cost me all of a fiver.Plus if you return within 7days it’s free entry.
Well I’ve been sitting here long enough so must get on.Hope to pop n later.
