Just found out my Niece who's Birthday is today has just given Birth to my Great Niece at 9.32 , Baby is 7 lb 8.5 oz Mother and Baby doing well

Also just found out My Nephew and his Girlfriend are having a Boy in October I think

Didn't sleep well again it was just too hot and stuffy , Off to have BP checked again at 9.30 then pop to Tesco , apart from dusting and a quick hoover I don't have anything to do today did most during night

Need to get a baby card , was going to Martins tonight but they off to see new GD so might see if I can get early night for a change ,

B busy with a long stick and a duster on the end clearing cob webs from security camera , little blighters are building a home for 5000 spiders up there

Could have stayed in bed longer, bed felt so comfy. Playing bowls in a hot hall must have sapped all my energy. Had a video chat with DD and GD yesterday, the apartment looks lovely but I think GD1 is missing her boyfriend. He is joining them for the weekend.

B with his stick and duster reminds me of Ken Dodd and his tickling stick. Two new babies in the family, how exciting.

Daisy, I can't imagine how tired you must have been, 4 unexpected days away.

Hello everyone! I'm just waiting for lunch to cook so thought I'd grab two minutes to pop in. I'm so going to enjoy catching up with everything tomorrow, which I hope will be a clear day! I'm still wiped out by the week-end, but needs must and I have to say the girls have been very good - GD2 is very proud of her newly painted purple nails - I don't know if Mummy will agree!

Gem - thanks for getting the upgrade done - it all looks fine.

I got all my jobs done for just afyer 11.
Hubby cutting a bush down in the garden,but he is in the shade.

I didn't cook today,hubby had a salad. I had a sandwich.

I have been in most of the day, curtains drawn and the fan on, far too hot outside, our garden was in full sun. I am going to sit out now I have some shade. Used the time to sort out some filing piled on the desk. Nearly time for a tinkling glass.

You made a wise choice staying inside Plant.

I had the paddling pool out for GS1 with a parasol partially shading it. We ate our meals outside with the table parasol up.
We divided our time between inside and outside, and nowhere was really cool. We put the fan on and watched the DVD of Peter Pan and ate ice lollies mid afternoon, which cooled us down a bit.
OH was very hot when she come home from golf
