Almost beat you this morning Oma. I woke very early 6ish and managed to stay in bed until 7.30 but my bedroom is so light on sunny mornings. Sorry Oma, we do have sun but not sure what the forecast is. Oma I thought you bought new furniture recently, poor B.

The continuing saga of my I phone is that I purchased a new phone at JL came home and was going back and forth from back door and back garage door and hiding under a hose reel at back door was, you've guessed it was my lost Iphone!!!! spoke to GS1 and he said well perhaps it is time you had an upgrade. I also bought a case for the new phone and since have discovered they are cheaper on Amazon. My other purchase from JL was a very expensive silk blouse (been invited to a 40th wedding anniversary this month) reading the label it says dry clean only, so that is going back to JL together with the phone case. Do I take the phone back too now I have found my old one, will talk to GS2 who is home and is going to set it up for me. Decisions, decisions. Oh and I also found my house phone, it was next door, I had taken it with me when I went in there to check on the cat.

Oh Plant what a carry on
If your old phone is still ok for you I would say take new one back but if GS thinks it might be time for a upgrade then think about it ,
I agree about the blouse though , if its dry clean only you most likely will only wear it occasionally .

        Good Moaning Each.
Thank you Nanto2, I imagined a delicious cake! Still, I expect they keep you going...🙄
Happy shopping Oma, rather you than me!
Plant, how annoying, but on the other hand if it’s a bigger screen and faster, I’d keep it. If you really like the blouse (and who doesn’t love a bit of silk?) I’d keep it and enjoy wearing it.
A pleasant day here, the patio doors are open and the church bells are calling the faithful to prayer. OH still snoring his head off but the bells should do the trick, especially as someone keeps going wrong. 😆
        Have a good day ladies.

          Good morning everyone.

I didn't have a chance to Chat yesterday, what with one thing and another I seemed to be rushing round all day! Still we were lucky with the weather - warm and sunny. OH and both DSs cooked up a huge pile of food on the barbecue, the GCs all spent time together, and the three dogs had fun too. The DILs did all the clearing up and I had some lovely and much appreciated presents.

Plant - your phone saga must be driving you mad. It's not a bad idea to upgrade your phone, and you can either sell your old one or keep it as a spare. I hope your GS2 can set it up for you. Our DS1 set up our new router yesterday - we were going to wait until the new BT cabinet is connected up, but we're having so much trouble with our connection we're hoping the new router will help a bit! What a pity about your blouse. I tend to ignore most 'dry clean' only labels - a gentle wash by hand for silk should be ok, but of course if it isn't you can't go back to the shop and complain!

Oma - happy shopping. I bet B can hardly wait! I'm really pleased to hear he's feeling better. xx

Grauntie - I hope you slept better last night, and are now full of the joys of spring.

Nanto - pleased you had a nice day in Pontefract. I don't like Pontefract cakes either!

LG - just what you need - some warm sunshine, a good book and a lovely comfy chair to relax in. Grauntie - I'm the same with a good book - I just can't put it down!

Enfys - I hope you were able to go to Knit and Natter - as others have said it's good for you and also for P if he's ok being on his own for a while.

Gem - I'm envious of all those tomato plants. Mine are really struggling this year, and I may end up buying some! Your OH's will give pleasure to a lot of people this summer.

Mimi - my veg plants are really struggling to make progress, and I've given up on flowers this year, they were so slow. I'll have to get some from the garden centre for a bit of colour!

              Morning all.

Sad had to say it’s raining here.Luckily we got a walk in before it started.

As I can’t do anything in the garden I might do some more clearing out, emphasising the “might!”

Whatever your Sunday holds I hope it is a good one.

Clover - I often feel like that - I 'might' do some job or other, but then I don't actually get started on it and do something completely different instead.

I bought some plants reduced from Waitrose really strong geranium plants and a cosmea. They are all planted now, I watered the borders last evening ready for them. Very muggy day here. Very mixed advice about phone and blouse, I have decided to go with the new phone, return the case and see what DD says about the blouse when she gets back from a weekend away. I don't go to many dressy functions and I fear I will not use it enough to warrant the high price I paid for it.

GD2 on her way here from Meadowhall. Going to introduce us to her new boyfriend.

Plant, what a saga with the phone. I suppose it would be nice to have an upgrade.
Although, i had a call a few days ago from Virgin mobile, asking if i wanted to upgrade.
                      I declined.i don't have phone on contract,only the sim.

Well after visiting a lot of shops we have narrowed the search down to Three ,
We are going back during the week to have another look at them but I have a feeling it will be the very first one we both liked

Bit shopped out now , luckily I took photos of the ones we liked or I would have forgotten what they looked like we looked t so many .

No Daisy we going for a light'ish Grey Fabric to contrast ,
The one we have seen is plain and simple manual recliners although I did say we didn't want recliners again it only comes with them .

                                Better late than never!!
Last night I really enjoyed Paul Merton, it was just what I needed.
We had overnight guests! At her friends house DD1 inadvertently had some flapjack with nuts in. She used her epi pen and had no symptoms, but her OH is away this weekend. She was reluctant to stay home alone with GS in case anything happened to her. I was at the theatre when she texted so I had to pass it over to OH! She made up the spare bed and they arrived. GS was asleep when I got in but I saw him this morning. DD is fine and they were off by 9 am as GS had a 10 am party to get to.
Then I gave OH some overdue reflexology. Then I coloured my hair, and a friend came for coffee. Then a quick lunch off to my mums.
We are going to friends for tea soon, so I thought I would pop in here before we go to let you know what I have been up to

I don't have time to reply to anyone just now, so I hope you are all OK
