I'm definitely too late to say 'good morning'!

It's been a cold miserable and eventually wet day here. I got back from the hairdressers freezing cold and put the heating on. It took me ages to warm up, and ended up feeling very tired. So I've nana napped on and off all afternoon, each time being woken up by someone at the door! OH's car won't be ready until tomorrow evening, so he's staying at DS1's again tonight. Eva has had a miserable day waiting for him. I tried to get her to play ball in the garden between showers but she took the ball back into the house - that was me told, wasn't it!!

Goodness, Qwerty, no wonder you're struggling. I hope you do sleep well - safe journey tomorrow, just in case you've gone before I'm around. xx

Grauntie - first of all you're a fully fledged fixer of sewing machines and after today an expert self-scanner! What a week you're having. Seriously - well done on getting the machine sorted. What are you going to do with it now?

Nanto - how lovely to have unexpected visitors.

Oma - a new filter kettle as well!!!! No wonder B's wondering what will arrive on your doorstep next. x


Plant - thank goodness you didn't have to wait two months to see the nurse! Did you find a summer dress?

Gem - £7 is a big entrance fee just to pay again for coffee etc. Mind you, I bet the cats are lovely.

Morning ladies sorry it’s late or early , I was in bed at 8.15 last night shattered I won’t do that again it’s too much , and neighbours wonder why we are going to be away for a while.
Just having breakfast at the airport and waiting for gate number, take care all of you and I’ll try to be in touch when I can get WiFi ,thanks for your good wishes OH thrilled to be getting away hope it lasts xx

We off for his Hospital visit this morning then pick GS1 and Dog up on way home ,

GS1 got a call from Newcastle yesterday asking him to go see them , they offered him a 6 weeks trial and he had a game with them , They had only been home 30 mins when DD got a call saying they want to sign him without the trial they were so impressed ,
His contract with Sunderland is at a end , the Trainers don't want him to go ,but it has to be his decision whether he goes to Newcastle or not ,
A change is as good as a rest so they say , so we will see

Good morning everyone. It's bright and breezy here this morning - the weather and me! I slept like a log, and was only vaguely aware of Eva coming to join me about 5 am. I think she'd spent the night at the bottom of the stairs waiting for OH!

Oma - a huge well done to GS1 - Newcastle must want him very badly. What a talented lad he is. I hope the visit to the hospital goes well.

Plant - enjoy Aqua. I hope you've got the better weather today as well as us.

Qwerty - and r e l a x ......... I always think a holiday starts as soon as you've checked in at the airport! I'm so pleased your OH is looking forward to your lovely break as well. I do hope you can keep in touch - we'll all want to know how you're getting on.

Today I'm going to do something shocking!! I'm going to scrub the kitchen floor! It's got to the stage where steam mopping it isn't really getting it clean, so with OH out, I can get on with it without having to shoo him away! I hate doing it but you can bet I'll be unbearably smug when it's done!!

Little cat has deteriorated over the past day or 2, OH and I both feel the same way. I think the time has come, or will do soon. So hard, to know when it not too soon but not wanting to wait for any further distress. The vet said I would know as I have had her for 19 years.

I must call round to see a neighbour who is enduring chemo.at the moment.She has lost so much weight and looks so ill. I will only stay a few minutes.She is being well cared for by her family but I have offered to do anything I can to help.

I have a doctor’s appointment this afternoon to check up on some results.

Good morning. Very hot and sunny here. P still in bed, still,not feeling so,good. The community cancer nurse came yesterday and she said it could take a good couple of weeks before he feels better. So we have to be patient, but it’s very hard for him.

I am feeling very very brave as I did something this morning I haven’t done for years. Went and put petrol in the car....all on my own! I,can’t tell you how good I feel, I know it sounds silly but it was a big thing for me to do. Now I feel a teeny bit better, how silly is that 🥇

Clover, that is kind of you to visit your neighbour. We haven’t seen any friends for ages, I get texts but otherwise nothing. Sometimes I think people are scared of illness but it’s such a shame. I’ve tried asking them round for coffee but too busy! Hey, ho, it takes all sorts.
