Enfys, I missed your post of your knitting, I have been knitting with that multi coloured wool. Love the knitting bag with wine glasses. Hope the news is good when you see P today.

Tummy feels better, the diet of rice and bananas plus the yukult drink seems to have done the trick. My family next door had a BBQ but didn't join in but I am joining them for lunch today. They will have all four of their children today, plus partners and of course their GS. Looks as if GD1 and boyfriend are going to move into the cabin in the garden, they slept there last night, it is very cosy. It has a bedroom, a sitting room and a bathroom, it is heated, they will cook in DD kitchen.

Daisy enjoy your DS2 today, I am sure Eva will enjoy her day with the girls and Cooper. Hope the weather keeps fine.

Oma, pleased you had a good nights sleep, you will feel up to enjoying your visit to the new house.

Very overcast here, not sure what the weather forecast is going to do.

What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Had a busy day yesterday it was GS4’s first birthday and OH’s birthday so went to DS2’s for birthday bbq. Great fun all the cousins enjoyed playing in the sunshine. Friday we took DS1’s family to Gulliver’s Land at Milton Keynes it was a great day out. Peaceful at home day today before hosting our own bbq tomorrow for friends and family.

            Allo Allo.
Firstly, Enfys, I am glad to see you have been multitasking. Knitting, reading and drinking. Plant, I hope your poorly tum is better now, Oma, glad to hear you will be a Grauntie again. 😆 Gem, my poor little puss was not well when I left, but DD1 took her to the vet and was given ABs. She rallied and all but moved in with the lady next door but one! The lady next door but one to her normally feeds her, and between them and DD she was well loved and cared for. She is far from well, but we will keep going as long as we can.
Today has been a planting out day for veg. All looking good.
Daisy, I will tell all about trip somewhere else.
Just making Rosemary oil for cooking as I bought some very nice bottles back.

Grauntie, we are in the same position, keeping our 19 year old cat going and comfortable.

Plant, good to hear your tum is setling.
                Oma,congratulations for the new arrival.
Daisy, hope you are having a good time.
Gem, i bet S's golfing friend will enjoy having tea made for her.

Weatherwise its been a day of mostly sunshine, with the odd shower.
Tonight is the coolest evening we have had for over a week,so resorted to putting the heating on.

Just dropped in to say sleep well tonight, ladies. I can't read most of the posts because our connection is on a really bad go-slow and I can't get from one page to the next, so I'll just say I hope everyone's day went to plan and you got at least some sunshine.

The BBQ was lovely but the weather was decidedly cool and showery! It's always fun to spend time with DIL1's family and Eva had a great day with Cooper, so I think all the Daisy household will sleep well tonight.

Daisy, pleased the BBQ was good, despite the weather.
I think we are in for a day of showers.
No plans for us,apart from going to in laws, well i am.
Hubby might pop round for an hour.

                      Good Moaning Each.
It rained like billyo last night. Good job as OH had put weed and feed on the lawn (and watered it in 😆). Today I am collecting a sewing machine from a lady on Freecycle. I do not need another but it’s not working properly and I love a challenge so you won’t get a peep out of me until I have made it work or given up. Either way I will have an enjoyable afternoon.
Little Cat has now lost her appetite and found a donkeys!! 3 lots of food last night and a big breakfast this morning. I am expecting a fasting phase soon. Maybe she thinks she is a snake....she is skinny enough.
                      Have a good day each.

Good morning, Nanto and all who pop by later. hat a lovely cherry graphic for a sunny morning. I hope your MIL is ok now.

The sun is shining, and hopefully will carry on for our Bank Holiday Monday. We've got no plans for today - well I have one plan! Do nothing unless I really have to!

Grauntie - so pleased to hear your little kitty is better. She still has her charm and kitty ways of getting people to love her! Are all your veg planted out now?

Plant - good to hear your tummy is better, but it was sensible not to go to the barbecue. I hope lunch yesterday went well.

Qwerty - did you have a good time at DD's yesterday?

Gem - I think volterol is good for these aches and pains. I can't take ibuprofen tablets, but find the gel brilliant. How does your mum's garden look now?

Oma - I hope you had another good night last night and that nasty cough is on its way out. Enjoy your trip to Martin's new house. You couldn't possibly celebrate without cake! You've set Storm a challenge by putting your new herbs in a trough!!! Cooper has never mastered the art of cocking his leg against anything, he just launches into space. LOL

Grauntie, you are such a talented lady, good luck with the sewing machine, try the fuse first!

Sunny here atm, I am hoping GD2 and her boyfriend will take the furniture out of my sunroom so that I can chase the spiders out. I might also clean the windows, depends how the day goes. Lovely lunch with the family yesterday, I made a bread and butter pudding and an apple crumble as a contribution, lots of oos and aahs. Only GD2 and her boyfriend are here now, they are going back to London later.

Love your graphic Nanto, hope the inlaws are okay when you visit. They are very lucky to have such a caring Dil.

                              Good morning dear ladies.

I hope all is well at your in law's Nan2.
Oma I'm glad you feel well enough to go to your BIL's new house. It will do you good. Knee not so bad thanks.
Grauntie my two 19 year old cats seem to eat frequently and one of them has got quite a tummy on her after meals! The poorly cat is tiny, 2.8 kilos when last weighed.
Try to have a nice relaxing day Daisy
Plant, I'm sure those puddings were much appreciated!

Sunny and windy where I am, with showers forecast. We have no specific Bank Holiday plans and weren't planning on gardening so it won't bother us much. Our friends C and P are coming round this afternoon. I think the wind will prevent us from sitting in the garden.
I need to pop to the supermarket this morning for things I didn't get yesterday.
I got all mum's front garden weeding and planting done. I was to pick up a couple of things for mum - milk (she she couldn't get her spare milk out of the freezer which I did once I go there) and paracetamol. I also has a list of shopping to do for us while I was there. I parked at Tesco which is on the way,and realised I hadn't put my purse in my bag. I have a hidden drawer in my glove compartment, where I keep mum's keys and a few pound coins. I had used all the coins for parking etc, and there was a small amount of loose change. No change in the bottom of my bag, pocket or anywhere else. 5p in my jacket pocket!I cobbled together 84p. I couldn't do any of our shopping. I had to buy the smallest milk for mum at 50p. Paracetamol in Tesco is 35p per pack, so I was a penny short. I paid for the milk then went along to Wilko where paracetamol is 20p. Luckily I knew this having bought a couple of packs there for mum not long ago. It took me back to my older children being babies, when we literally did count the pennies like that.

Have a nice day, whatever you do.

Good morning all. Migraine has gone at last I am very pleased to say. We were due to go out for a meal with DS and DIL to celebrate her 40th birthday ( she was away in Jamaica when it was actually her birthday ) but I wasn't able to go unfortunately but we hope to make it up in July when eldest GS is 18 .
I've been out for some fresh air and was gone for almost an hour as I was talking to a neighbour !
Its cloudy here and a little cooler.

Gem, we don't tend to keep much spare change now do we as we are using a debit/ credit card . I went without my purse once and all I had in my pocket was 50p . I had to come home , get my purse and then go back out , muttering under my breath I can tell you.

Oma pleased to hear that you are feeling better. Enjoy your visit to M's new house

Plant bread and butter is always a favourite here, DD loves it, OH always has it with custard .

Grauntie you do like a challenge don't you, best of luck with getting the sewing machine going.

Don't have a lot planned today apart from cooking lunch as all we had yesterday was a bowl of soup and a bread roll as OH was out of sorts as well as me.

Have a good bank holiday ladies.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.
