Afternoon ladies sunny first thing, then heavy shower then sun again I don’t know what to where half the time
Daisy we did enjoy Dds lunch she’s a a good cook, roast beef and all the trimmings, and apple strudel for afters , and a couple of cheeky glasses of wine .
Today we are at DS for homemade made pizza he makes the best pizzas , Dd bringing eldest tonight so she can get off early tomorrow for work , so she’s staying the night and a long day tomorrow she was booked in for aqua swim, you can’t get a place at her sports centre its as rare as rocking horse poo, and her OH is working away and not able to look after her so she’s coming after her excersise 9pm 🤨
Oma glad your coming round a bit , I love to look round other folks houses when they move in, I’m so nosy
Gem how frustrating for you , it’s an awful feeling when you have forgotten your purse .
Plant we have bought some spider spray to keep the spiders away , I don’t even like writing the word 😮
Daisy glad you enjoyed the bbq it was a little chilly here too and a bit windy .
GM hope the machine is worth it lol , I can’t think of anything worse as in using a sewing machine especially one you have to mend first , but I might eat my own words shortly

Well we back and OMG the house is enormous , 4 bedrooms 3 doubles and main one the size of both my bedrooms and more it stretches across the house and double garage its HUGE ,
3 on suite shower rooms and a Bathroom , upstairs
Downstairs a large sitting room then a Very large Kitchen / Dinning/Family room with bi folding doors that open the whole back wall onto the garden .
The drive alone can hold 5 cars ,
Honestly its amazing but I wouldn't like to clean it all , although they are young enough and don't have children or animals , only the granddaughter at the moment and two more grandchildren on the way , they out at work all day too so wont get that dirty

On way home we popped into Morrisons and My SIL was in there ( my Brothers wife who moved out ) stood talking to her for ages just walking away and my Niece came in ( SIL's Daughter ) so ended up standing talking again always the same isn't it , if you see one you see them all
B just made a cupper so going to have 5 mins before look to see what we will have for tea x

It has been sunny windy rainy and hailing here on and off all day!
We had a nice afternoon with our friends and arranged another before we go on holiday.

The weather here has been disappointing today. Dry but only occasional sun and quite a chilly wind.

Mimi - glad you're back on form after your nasty migraine. I hope you enjoyed whatever you cooked in the end.

Grauntie - I wouldn't even know where to start on working out if a sewing machine is broken, let alone how to mend it. Did you get it going, you clever lady?

Oma - that's not a house - more like a mansion. It sounds lovely though.

Qwerty - it's good your DS and DD look after you two sometimes - you do such a lot for them.

Gem - how lovely to have a relaxing afternoon with your friends. Not long to you holidays now! How annoying to forget your purse. I always used to keep £1 in the car for emergencies, many years ago. Now I keep £10, and I think I ought to make it £20 as even a tenner goes nowhere these days!


I've had a 'do nothing' day, but or some reason it didn't seem relaxing. I stocked up my Kindle with books and did a bit of shopping online for t-shirts, but there was nothing really inspiring and wrote a couple of letters and cards. I'm just waiting for the bread maker to finish then I'm going to have an early night ready for a busy day tomorrow.

Very cloudy here Nan2, I think we are due better weather later this week.
Daisy sometimes I don't find free days as relaxing as I should either! You are overdue to go off in your caravan, have you got anything in mind?

Free day for us today as OH hasn't yet resumed Tuesday golf competitions and GS1 is coming on Friday this week.
We are going to see Rocket Man at the cinema, which I am looking forward to. Cat litter and wireless mouse still to buy, so we will do that while we are out.

Its dull and damp hear , I have one lot of clothes in the Tumble and one in the washer , I will iron them when they are dry get them out of way ,
B gone to take his Mother to the Dr's so he will be out for a few hours .

I have been on line and ordered a new Dinning table from IKEA its getting delivered Friday , B doesn't know yet what a surprise when he comes home

Morning just a quickie , eldest arrived last night about 6.30 Dd andOH were going out to eat 😮
This morning twins arrived at 8 am the plan for all 3 is eldest is going to garden centre for plants for a stone sink she calls hers and plants it with grandad her choice of flowers, I am taking twins to play area area and we will meet up for lunch at garden centre, could be an expensive time , eldest going home at 9 pm as explained earlier and twins having sleepover 😴 hope your day is less chaotic than mine , and yes Daisy I think we earned the invite to pizza 🍕 lol xx

No plans for today, did so much yesterday, I had to be firm with myself to stop. The lawns look lovely, sil cut them yesterday and the borders look tidy so I can sit back in my newly cleaned out sun room. Hope the sun stays shining.

Qwerty have fun with your GC, I am sure your OH will enjoy planning the stone sink with GD.

Oma hope B likes the new table you have ordered.
