Just popped in to next door and found GS2 home, he has been to Turkey on holiday, lovey surprise and DD said GD2 is coming for the BH weekend, we shall no doubt see GS1 and his family over the weekend so that leaves GD1 to put in an appearance. Lucky GM, you bet. I dropped off to sleep in my sun room, always feel tired after Aqua.

Enjoy your birthday present Daisy, rather unusual but enjoy.

Mum was actually on good form. Didn't mention her ear and didn't say 90 is far too old! We actually had a nice afternoons chat.
I'm going back on Sunday to plant her bedding plants.

Oma - sorry you're still coughing away. So B thinks we're both mad, eh!!!

Nanto - I've had some quite unusual presents over the years. I don't want something I'll stick in a cupboard or have to dust! I think I might be getting a new hosepipe as well. I'm ridiculously excited!

Gem - how great that your mum was happy and cheerful. Doesn't it make a difference to how you feel! I hope Sunday is more of the same.

Plant - I'm not surprised you're tired after Aqua - it's very good exercise. What a lovely surprise to suddenly find most if not all of your family will be around over the Bank Holiday week-end.

I went to the dentist smiling but didn’t come out that way I have to have a filling but it will have to wait till I’m back from Spain.

Qwerty - now why didn't I think of getting a pipe put in from the tap to the nearest wine maker! I hope the filling isn't a big one, but nice that you can wait till after your holiday.

I hope the blood test wait is not too long Daisy, so you can get back to your garden. We are lucky as you know. we go to Asda, where waiting is minimal (and parking free )
When are you off to Spain again Qwerty? Do you have wi fi where you stay?

GD and GS2 day today, as it is a teacher training day. Tonight we are going over to babysit GS1.
SIL and DD3 (mainly him) have a pop up restaurant event in town tonight. A 4 course vegetarian meal. He is an amazing cook. I would like to have gone but thought it fairer that I offer to babysit for DD1 so she she and SIL could go . He is vegan she veggie, so is perfect for them.

Thinking of Clover and Enfys this morning ,

Cough still going strong Daisy but im ok otherwise
Hope you get parked easily at Hospital , most are a nightmare no matter what time of day it is .

Gem I hope it goes well for them they must be both excited and nervous at the same time

DD off today so don't have dog ,

GS1 still wants picking up from school , he put his order in for Fillet Steak carrots peas and roast potatoes with Peppercorn sauce ,
Doesn't ask for much does he

Potted the plants we bought yesterday I had watered all the soil in the pots last night in preparation , they were all lovely and warm and damp so the plants should be happy
not much else to do today I hope I seem to have never stopped this week with one thing or another

Morning and like others my thoughts are more sombre for Clover and Enfys hope for the best with P and ax we know it’s not going to get better with G and I feel for her mostly .
Nan2 I thought we went about 28 th but just looked on boarding passes and it’s 30 th, we do have WiFi but it’s not very good unless you are contacting folk in Spain, but I will try to get on if I can, I know Avo doesn’t get on here much when she’s in Portugal wonder if it’s the waves and not the sea ones , we are back 27th June .

Getting closer Qwerty, how is you OH feeling about the trip? Is he still fghteeling positive?

Just got back from Shopping and warfarin clinic, my IRN was not good, presumably because of my tummy upset which is still bothering me. I have not bought any vegetables or fruit, except bananas, bought some yakuit and some marmite, I always fancy marmite when I have an upset tummy and some ginger biscuits. Drinking black tea as well.

Hope Enfys has some good news today.

OH has driven to golf ( to watch and walk round, not play) I wanted to drive her. Although it would mean putting both children in the car, and of course going back later it's only a 10 minute drive at the most, so no problem. She wanted to try driving and insisted on taking herself. Hopefully she got there OK. She left her phone at home so I can't even check
