Little cat had an episode, but I don't think I have effectively been able to get her to take all her medicine this last day or two. I put in in her food and sometimes she just won't have it. I think she had most of it today, so fingers crossed.
OH is going out for lunch with an old work friend, which will be nice. They are meeting in town, as OH can get the bus there, as no driving until after the cast is off (tomorrow!!) The friend will have her small dog with her, so we are not sure where they will eat. Will it be sandwiches in the park?! At least it is a fine day.
GS1 from school today, apparently he wants to come back here, which suits me!

Been coughing all night so feeling drained today and tired , I think I will have a Nana nap after lunch , been to Morrisons but no heart for shopping so just grabbed what we needed and headed home ,

Gem is it tablets you have for Puss ? if she's anything like DD's cats they eat around the tablets in their food

Good morning everyone. It's a lovely sunny day here, too, and much warmer.

Nanto - that graphic reminds me of a small child still all warm, cuddly and sleepy, coming into your bedroom for a snuggle! Good to hear in laws are ok today.

We're looking forward to our gourmet chicken lunch today. there are enough salad leaves in the greenhouse to have a homegrown salad with it.

Gem - I bet OH can't wait for tomorrow, although it may take her a day or two to feel like driving again. How nice that GS1 wants to come to your house after school. I hope little cat is ok. It's much easier to get medication down a dog's throat. I remember when Clyde was having a diabetic check up chatting to a lady in the vets with a cat with the same condition. I asked her how her cat coped with twice daily injections, and she showed me all the scratches on her arms!

Morning all. I have just come back from the post office to return a polo top I brought for OH’s birthday but it was too small for him. Honestly I think that man deliberately does it to be awkward!
Anyway I have now brought him a ‘nut, bolts and screw ‘ tidy for his shed. It has lots of draws for him to organise all his screws etc that are currently rolling around in an old tin. I am confident he will be thrilled with it as he was positively drooling over ones on Amazon....aren’t men strange?

Its a a sunny day here so I am hoping to get some gardening done but I cannot plant up any plants into containers as the potting compost I ordered and was due to arrive yesterday was on a van that was involved in an accident, I hope no one was hurt.

Just been to a talk about having a healthy gut, quite appropriate after my upset tum which still isn't right. Really hot and sunny here today.

Plant, these thing can take few days to be right.
The cat's medicine is a liquid, like Calpol which you draw up into syringe. It is supposed to taste OK, but she seems to be on course to thwart me and avoid it lately!

My DD1 had an infected insect bite which became cellulitis. She is on a massive antibiotic dose which is making her feel sick. At least the infection is under control now and the arm which swelled badly is normal size again.

Plant it feels the same as I had but we are blaming the Air con on the ship , it was full blast day and night as the ship was so hot and we all know how Air con carry germs

Gem that sounds nasty on DD arm poor girl , Antibiotics do the same to Brian not nice for her , bad enough the swollen arm but to feel sick too

I bought hubby a router for Christmas(he asked for it) with loads of doodaahs to use with it,he loves it.

It's sunny and fairly warm here - fingers crossed it stays that way - I've got lots of jobs to do in the garden.

Mimi - I know my OH would rather have a nuts, bolts and screws box than a polo shirt - I hope you got him a big one.

Oma - yes, thank you, the chicken was delicious. DS2 got into cooking a few years ago and started to use Hello Fresh. It introduced him to all sorts of ingredients and techniques and all the food was brilliant. Then he was diagnosed as gluten intolerant so had to stop using them, but it gave him a good start and he's a really good cook now. Are you and B feeling better?

Gem, poor DD1, that sounds so painful. Thank goodness the swelling has gone down, but it's horrible feeling sick all the time. Is it a 7 day course of ABs? It's a red letter (or should that be blue?) day for your OH today. I hope they are happy with her wrist when the cast comes off. xx

I'm hoping for a day of no interruptions, I just want to get on with weeding, mulching and eventually planting! But (why is there always a but!) a new internet router arrived yesterday and I know I'll be the one to install it. I hope it's straightforward - the last one wasn't! If I disappear, you'll know why.

Morning ladies , still coughing but got a better sleep last night , would have liked a lie in but the cough thought better of it and started again just after 5 ,

Going to take the trousers back to Next this morning have the security tag taken off , so pleased I kept the receipt

Need to get the garden vax out when I get back garden full of little brown husks from the new leaves on the trees its like when cherry blossom falls .
